We were told by our drop off location manager that we shouldn’t of connected any wires because that’s the U-Haul workers job. Also I’m wanting to talk to someone about why we paid 125$ for a deposit but only got back 75$. Overall a bad experience and I probably won’t be coming back

I used truckshare 24/7. The app wouldn’t work work and I had to call the 1800 number to proceed. Then the app gave me incorrect directions to the key box outside the building. When I opened the box there were no keys inside forcing me to ring the 1800 number again. They directed me to open another box and that was empty too ! I had to wait for a staff member to arrive to give me keys - this delayed my rental by 1 hour in total. Whilst I was given an apology I wasn’t offered any sort of discount or offer of goodwill. This was very poor customer service and I will not use this location again.

trailer was damaged on the wheel well and couldn't lock the door in place, and they charged us 3 times what the unit should have initially costed, we could not get a hold of them all day to get the charges sorted out. will not go back to this location. and a good chance use flaman from now on.

The online, via your phone, process turned into a nightmare in both checking the vehicle out and back in. But the staff at this location handled it really well and were exceptionally helpful. I would highly recommend this location and the staff that work there.

Advise the customer that a jack is not included in the event the trailer has to be removed from the vehicle due a flat tire or if to be removed for any other reason. Confirmed the drop off location on the contract yet received a text message stating another drop off location. In my opinion this was somewhat confusing in which I ignored.

I had preregistered to save time but had to wait at least half an hour while the one agent available served someone who had not made a reservation. When the second agent finished her rounds on the lot, she helped me and was excellent. The trailer was a bit worse for wear and the door was difficult to open because it stuck in the track.

I had booked a 15 foot truck online and when I checked they had me in a cargo van. Luckily a 10 foot truck was available, still not ideal as we then had to make three trips instead of two, which cost me more in mileage. Don't over book your trucks.

After I returned the truck your location charged me for furniture pads and a dolly that I never rented. I don't understand how this could have been an accident, given that the initial contract for which my card was authorized didn't have these items listed. The CSR at the location (Justice) had to amend my contract after the fact with these items. To me this comes across as an intentional overcharge rather than an honest mistake. Especially given the attitude of the staff member (Krista) I dealt with to get the issue resolved. She was effectively useless and was too busy bad mouthing Uhaul as a company to every customer in the place and complaining about the "System" to take any responsibility to rectify the mistake that her colleague had made. Her solution was to put me off to the Uhaul customer service #. In fairness, the customer service agent I spoke to on the phone was very helpful. I will probably use Uhaul again, but I won't be using this location.

I would not recommended u haul at all the web site allows you to book and confirms then they call you days a later to say you cant pick up where u wanted and the vehicle you received confirmation on is not available. Then poor girls in the location office get yelled bat because head office makes changes and they are stuck dealing with angry customers.

The representatives that assisted us were very friendly and helpful. One (Justice) found a backback that my kid had left in the vehicle: I never would have noticed it. Easy, efficient, a very fair price.

I arrived at 9:10am on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 and was the second person in line - only to wait 30 minutes for the person in front of me to be taken care of (my rental rolled over into the next 24 hour period at 9:20). Then, at 9:40, it took another 15 min for the person to roll back the rental clock to 9:20 so that I wasn't charged for another day. The dropoff experience was horrible. Your system needs upgrading and you need more than one person receiving patrons.

I really enjoyed the experience renting from this location. It was my best experience to date. I've had some bad experiences in the past with other UHaul locations, but this one I will go back to. I love the extra stuff you can buy on the floor, the packing materials and boxes and whatnot. It makes for a great one stop shop. Moving is stressful enough. This location and the ladies working there made the UHaul part worry free. Thanks again, look forward to our next rental with you.

If there is many ppl picking up on a certain day there should be more than one person at the counter it was quite busy and the girl that was there today doing her best to keep up but it would have been good to have a second person there.

I phoned to add a utility dolly to my order and was told by the agent it would be "no problem." On moving day the dolly was part of my reservation, but the location had none to offer me. Online and in-store the company openly advertises that they "guarantee equipment, location and time of pick-up as agreed." Not having reserved equipment has been a multi-occurrence event for me at U-Haul locations across North America. Seems like a disconnect between their "guarantee" and their actual practice.

my only comment would be that having a gas tank not full is an inconvenience. It is way too difficult to guess how much gas to put in otherwise. You can thank us for the extra $30 of fuel left in your vehicle.

Give to renter with full tank and it's easier to top up to full when returning. Also I didn't appreciate being put on hold for 10min to find out my total submitted to mastercard. Hire more people to handle calls .

I had a vehicle break down and had to call the uhaul emergency line and they were very very helpful. Then I had to swap out my uhaul trailer with a uhaul truck in Lloydminster AB (the Spruce Hill location). They went above and beyond to get me back on the road to my destination. They made many calls and were very quick thinking on a solution. Give them a hundred thumbs up in my opinion.

Be up front on charges. Unreasonable change in pick time and location with too short of notice. Inconsistent paperwork - showed more fuel than actually in tank. Employee verified on paper but wouldn’t reimburse at time of return. Change of location added to our change in mileage. Not impressed

First off my appointment was moved from 8am to 9am along with a lot of people to we had to wait 45 minutes just to get through the line of people waiting, it was very unorganized, our truck wasn’t cleaned out from The last person and that took additional time and then there was issues with the computer freezing which took longer as well. It took us an and hour to get our vehicle and leave. The only positive thing was the young girl working the desk was very pleasant and easy to deal with. Definetly wouldn’t recommend this location to others though.

There was a queue when I arrived, but that’s to be expected on a Sunday morning early in the month. I observed the associates as they served their customers and was impressed at their professionalism. I had the pleasure of Justice serving me. We chatted about how busy it was and how to handle busy times, especially when it gets stressful. Justice was engaging, articulate, and generally pleasant. She understands customer service, and that makes her an asset to U-Haul. I shall rent from this location in the future.

We dropped off after hours so there was not much to report in terms of location and personnel. The reason for my lower rating is that there is no clear drop box for keys or sign indicating where they’d like the keys. It would’ve really helped give me the peace of mind that the keys were dropped off in the right spot. A small improvement that would enhance the overall experience.

Waited in line for almost 90 min. There was 1 employee helping customers from the sign in to the hook up. Extremely slow.

There’s not a lot to say, the wait was over an hour to get our uhaul with only 4 people ahead of us. There was only one person working the front desk, the poor woman was stuck all alone until a person who was not qualified for the job decided to help her. Overall I would not move through uhaul again, the wait time was far too long for what should have been done in ten minutes they were clearly way under staffed. Will not be coming back.

The equipment was not at the location where it was supposed to be. The location did not have any towing equipment available to buy or rent. They were unable to lend me a wrench to tighten my hitch ball. This is the only location where I have experienced this in 5 years.

Now that the trip is done I can state high praise for the vehicle a 26 ft GMC. Although it sucked gas prodigiously it performed really well in the drive through the Rockies along the Coquihalla. The engine and transmission was solid, seat comfortable. The presence of a real oil pressure gauge, tach and vacuum gauge were great. A good experience. Well done

My experience with U haul this time was terrible. The lady at this location was very good and ended up doing her best to accommodate the situation. The problem came form the person who took my booking on the phone. This person should have done there job mush better. Thank you to the lady at the 2310 Millar Ave location for all you did to fix the problem.

This was the worst experience I have ever endured! I reserved a 15' truck online and received an email confirming my 15' MOVING TRUCK for 11:30am on the last day of the month. When we arrived at the Uhaul location, we were handed the keys to a small cargo van! That is NOT what I ordered. At the customer service rep's insistence, I re-checked the confirmation email I received the day before, and sure enough, it said cargo van. I showed the rep my reservation email confirming the larger truck. The rep looked for another truck, but it was noon on the last day of the month. Thank you, Uhaul, for leaving me with a shoebox on wheels to move the entirety of our 2 bedroom apartment (it took 10 trips - 10!) This is garbage. And to run salt in the wound, we had to pay 3 times the mileage! It cost about 110 to rent this gong show on wheels. For an extra $40 We could have hired actual movers! This is actually the 3rd time we have had something like this happen with Uhaul, but at least they CALLED us and arranged an alternate vehicle of suitable size! It was still frustrating, but at least we were aware of what was happening, and were involved in the resolution, but it seems Uhaul is unable to provide what thier customers actually need!

Only small matter to me was during drop off I waited quite a while as the attendant was dealing with a somewhat complicated rental. When I finally interrupted to ask what needed to be done, I was told that having prepaid I simply needed to leave the key on the counter. Perhaps if I rented U-Haul more often I would know that but also, I think the attendant could have realised and asked what I was needing (she was in the process of starting the rental over for a 3rd time when I interrupted!)

While trying to make my reservation for the rental I was transferred to 7 different people (no exaggeration) on the 1-800 number. Everyone in this organization would rather transfer the call than deal with the situation. I have had this experience with U-Haul staff before. U-Haul appears to have a horrible customer service attitude, you should be embarrassed. This is consistent with my previous experiences, it has been several years since I had been a customer so I hoped that customer service had changed. I wasn’t disappointed, still horrible.

When I checked in electronically it said adding a photo of my license was optional, so I didn’t bother. When I got there they took a picture during the pick up. I could have done that at home and saved a few minutes if they need it.

Hook ups on trailer need clean up and/or lubricated. Hydraulics tank could not open for a look at fluid level.

I rented a Van and it was really dirty on the outside, back up camera was barely useable at first and back windows were hard to see out of. Other than that everything was excellent. the staff is great, always friendly.

I had the trailer for an extra day because the ramp to offload my vehicle, I explained this to the agent at the drop location and they understood and assured me I wouldn't be charged. I just saw a charge on my credit card. I likely will not use the UHaul service again. Very frustrated with the rental.

When I dropped the truck off at 2310 Millar Ave, I called the traffic department in edmonton. The girl stated that she would put on file that the truck was returned at 7:00pm Saturday. I looked at the clock and it was 6:57pm saturday. The drop off time on my contract said Sunday, march 31, 2019. I was charged $40 for an extra day????!!!!! The truck ran like crap. and I was charged extra on top of it? I'm expecting to be refunded the extra day which it showed on my contract as the drop off day, Sunday. The truck was returned Saturday and I got charged. NO IMPRESSED AT ALL
