The front tires on the trailer were essentially bald! This made travel extremely difficult on the highway. Unfortunately I did not notice how bad they were until I started my trip. Because of the winter weather as well, I had to drop to 40-60 kph, which meant needing to pull over often to let traffic go by me. The return trip was much better once the trailer had some weight in it. I showed the tires to the salesmen when I returned. He was shocked as much as I was and told me the trailer would not be going out again until those tires were replaced. He did apologize. He took pictures of the tires as he had â€œnever seen tires this bad beforeâ€. Unfortunately no discount was given.,Brian G.

Very personable staff, in S'toon. Snow had piled up in the lot though. I was contacted by Reps via an app regarding bringing a trailer back from Redcliff location. However upon arriving I was told, that had been cancelled. With no one letting me know, after it was clear to me that was their plan (that I agreed to). Before that I had another trailer lined up from a friend that I stopped because they wanted me to take the u-haul one. Thankfully we were able to just fit every in, but it was pretty stressful loading. Thinking we might have to leave certain things.Colin Q.

Only think I can say negative is that they said tank was full. Which the needle indicated. I did an in town move out on 12 miles. When I went to fill up i stopped the pump at 15 dollars. So definitely wasn't "full" when I picked upGreg P.

You guys asked me to stay in a broken vehicle at -25 degrees weather for more than 1h just to say the assistance would take 1h more to arrive, threatening me to pay an abandon fee otherwise. I rented the vehicle 2h before, I was very disappointed, I received inhumane treatment and not even an apology came. Only complain was that truck was not clean inside with previous customer leaving a half drunk coffee in holder. Some spillage residue. Customer service was absolutely horrible and my father and I were talked to as if we were children by the manager. After him getting snippy at us an employee calmly explained what his manager should have just said from the beginning and it made total sense and we were content; why he couldn't have just said that from the beginning is absolutely beyond me. I had also been told I was going to be called later that day by management to sort out the situation and never heard anything. Very unprofessional.Trevor M.
The pickup should be more organized. I had to search through the fleet of ~40 trucks in the dark/cold/snow drifts in order to find my truck and then had to back it up through a narrow gap of other trailers before leaving. It would be SO MUCH better if they had your truck waiting in an accessible, obvious location where it is easy to just hop in and leave the yard. They knew I had rented the truck long ago and what time I was picking it up so would have been easy to make this pickup process much more customer friendly. The truck also only had 1/4 tank of gas which doesn't make sense to me - would be a lot easier to pick up with a full tank and return with a full tank instead of trying to estimate how much gas to put in and reach the same point for the return.Gavin M.

Probably just a small comment, the strap in the car dolly is frozen and the staff wasn't able to to untangle it. He tried his best in fairness but to no avail. So my trip got delayed for more than 2hrs because I can not load my vehicle, I can not even leave u-haul facility. Shop closed at 7pm so I solved the problem my self. It was very cold understandably but small issues like that should be no problem for u-haul as a company. Winter should not be a surprise, they should have tools like heat gun, should be ready for situations like that.Harvey M.

Make sure the IT department keeps better tabs on your digital system to prevent down time in the future and do maintenance checks during the night when stores are closed. This will hopefully prevent any system failures in the future. Be proactive instead of reactive because it will cost you more to be reactive.Peter D.

Absolute horrible experience. The truck we were provided did not have gas in it, there was no local gas stations open at our pick up time (7am), the staff working told us that there was no other trucks available for us. Finally, we got gas and attempt to start loading the truck to find out the truck rear door was iced up and didn't want to open. Later spoke to the Manager, who covered for his employees and informed us that there was 20+ trucks available that were the same size as ours. Very poor customer service, as it was requested that the Manager call us when he got to work; however, that did not occur and we were the ones having to chase after the Manager only to find out he did not care.Michael S.

When I went to pay for this service they was an alert on my account which was not supposed to be there. The gal on the phone( cause of course I had to phone to get it cleared before they could rent to me again ) was very pleasant and had the alert removed and stayed on the phone to talk to the service rep in the store. I found the wording of the alert extremely offensive and the clerk at the store appeared annoyed that I would waste her time. That alert should never have been there. Everything was cleared paid and the unit returned as agreed on the previous contract. I had people lined up to help me move and had to delay them because of the time it took to clear the alert. I did not appreciate the extra stress this caused as this was not my error but a uhaul rep from a year and a half ago perhaps a message should appear when booking on line so that it can be dealt with before you go to pick up the unit. The van looked like it had a full tank, but when I filled it before I returned it, then it was clear that the full actually pushes the needle a little past full. So my 50km of driving took a $40 to fill back up. So really watch the fill level before taking it out, especially if you are dropping it off after hours.Craig K.

I would highly reccomend informing drivers of vehicles that the vehicle being used may be in MPH instead of KPH, could result in speeding fines for customers who may not be aware. Also reversing the truck out of where it was parked was very tight and potentially difficult for a novice driver, however i fully appreciate that there is not much you can do about that given the space and amount of vehicles needed in Saskatoon.Tom F.

I have used Uhaul many times, and had issues with almost every location I have death with. Not here! I called, the very pleasant lady who answered my call asked a few questions to determine exactly what I needed, looked up my account and made the reservation in less than 5 minutes! When we showed up the next day, they were ready, the trailer was ready and Bryan helped us load our car onto the trailer! Exceptional service and such pleasant employees! Wow! They made me pick up the trailer at a location way across town that was sooo much smaller than what I needed and no one called me to tell me about the change. They wouldn't let me return it to my chosen location and no one knew what was going onâ€¦. Everyone told me to call someone else. They all told me wrong stuff. I work at a uhaul dealership which is where I wanted to pick it up but it got switched across town for no reason. Then no one told me the correct info and I KNOW IT. Despite checking in online and setting up an alternate account access for my son, they had trouble finding the account and said I had to be there as he was not registered. In the end they phoned to confirm with me but the process was lengthy and frustrating given we followed their directions. Did not know the storage was not accessed from outside. An apartment’s worth of items had to be moved down two long hallways - they did provide a dolly.
