DELMAR RI had the worse experience and when trying to get my reservation I was hung up on the phone 4 times and when I did get someone on phone I was placed on dead hold for over hour then phone disconnected. I asked for a supervisor I was told there were none available to speak with the supervisors do not come to phone . When you make reservation with one of your representatives they need to make the client aware that you will not be able to do anything without downloading the U-Haul app. The by far was the worse experience and all of the employees I spoke with was not even the little bit concerned or cared about what I was saying or making minimal effort to listen and understand

MICHAEL KI had a HORRIBLE U-Haul experience due to FAILURES at the Scheduling department. U-Haul scheduled my trailer pickup on Saturday March 29th at a location that was CLOSED. This is inexcusable. Then the best they could do is schedule the trailer at a location 88 miles from my house. I had to travel 176 miles before I was able to start loading the rental trailer.

James JFirstly, I had a contract that included a cart to assist with the moving process. However, when I arrived at the Avon Park location, I was informed that the cart was not available. This was extremely frustrating, as it was an essential part of my rental agreement. In addition to the lack of the cart, the manager(an older woman) I spoke to was unhelpful and rude when I inquired about the situation. There was no apology or effort to resolve the issue at hand. I contacted customer service and Amber was very helpful and helped me get a cart. I also overheard the manager gossiping with the two other employees about the problem of not having a cart. Due to the unavailability of the cart, I had to drive over 20 miles to another U-Haul location to pick one up. This not only cost me extra time, but I also lost almost an hour with the U-Haul truck itself. This delay led to me having to pay the movers for an additional hour of labor, which was an unanticipated expense. The poor customer service, combined with the inconvenience and financial cost caused by this situation, has left me very frustrated. I expect better from a company of U-Haul’s reputation. I hope this complaint is taken seriously, and that steps are taken to ensure this doesn’t happen again to future customers. I would appreciate a prompt response and some form of compensation for the inconvenience and extra costs incurred due to this issue.

Tim B | Overall ExperienceThe only problem with your facility is your mobile carts. Most storage places have very large carts to move your things in with. Your carts are all very small and you only have four which creates many trips in and out of the facility to move your stuff in or out. A lot of people move on the weekends so there are several customers all there at the same time trying to use for small carts so it's definitely an improvement that the facility needs to make.

She asked me when I was there which storage unit as my name was also on my daughters unit and I told her that was the wrong one. She opened my daughters unit back up but put my name and my oldest daughter’s name on it instead of theirs.. My unit I closed was in my oldest daughter’s name and mine.. Hopefully they can fix this mistake

You charged me for a room I never used. It was never explained to me that if I did not contact you that I did not need the room that I was to let you know. .. so I did not call you. . You fraudulenty took $106.00 out of my account.. please contact me to resolve this matter before it escalates to the point of the Highlands County Sherriff getting involved. I have all the documents needed for prosecution .

The manager was very helpful when I moved in and very helpful in explaining everything about how to use the storage swipe cards and how to access my locker. Poor rating is because I moved my stuff out of the unit with 3 weeks left until my next payment was due, and did not get any refund for the 3 weeks. If you want to rent here, just know they won't give a refund of unused time that you've already paid for! I've already warned my family and friends to be aware of this if using Uhaul for storage.

The process administration and staff are being tested in its infancy while the manager; Kathy Schmidt is top notch, courteous and professional and will help you work through any hitches you encounter. A little patience is in order while Kathy quickly brings the staff and facility up to standards that no doubt will be the exemplar of excellence within the organization. You can rest assured your possessions are secure and conveniently available, with the further confidence that even hurricane Ian could little but loosen a gutter from the obviously well designed and prudently constructed building. It seems UHaul thought of everything with regards to convenience, confidence, and value. And then there is Kathy; outstanding!
