Everytime I walk into this location there is an issue. The people in general are unprofessional, it's just a poor experience.

LINDA AThe girl that took care of me Saturday morning, September 26th was rude. Unprofessional did not have a clue to what she was doing. Never put my order in thank God I called the 800 number to find out what was going on because I tried calling three times to the store after I left so I can book another day and they hung up on me three times so they suck the lady that took care of me Saturday morning when I picked up the truck was a sweetheart. I had no problem with her. The other ones girl had dreadlocks in her hair that tried to tell you who it was, but yeah, she shouldn’t be working for you guys
THOMAS BWas good till it wasn't. Had a question about the gear shift handle in a truck I rented. There was quite a bit of slop in movement. Brought it to the attention of the manager who was nothing but nice and helpful. There was a male emplyoee, around 35 sitting and the front desk who was asked by said manager to go check the function of the gear shift as I was concerned about it failing. He was visibly annoyed by doing this. He and I went to the truck, he sat it the seat moving the lever in a childish manner. I attempted to explain my concern to him and his reply and was much less than professional. Making statements asking if I was sizing him up. Will never again use your company.

JOHN DWhen you call the location, you get transferred to a central number, they take your information. But no one returns your calls. I recently received a callback 3 days later and they still had not closed my account even though I moved out on the 30th of August the person said I would receive an invoice showing paid in full and closed, instead I got a survey inquiry.
SCOTT R | Overall ExperienceThis experience with UHaul was one of the worst moving experiences we've ever had and I will not be recommending UHaul to anyone. We were told when we initially rented our U-Boxes that we could obtain them any time we wanted - that couldn't be further from the truth. The South Carolina warehouse was only open until 4pm M-F and was closed on the weekends. They also required you to call ahead to get into them, which was CONSTANTLY a problem since no one answered the phone. I rarely could even be transferred internally to the correct warehouse, because no one could reach them - even people who worked for UHaul. The Wilkes-Barre "Driver" dropped off our boxes for us to pack, got stuck in our yard, damaged and dug up our grass, shrubs and driveway and couldn't get out of the yard without assistance from another truck. They were picked up hours late in Wilkes-Barre, and then again dropped off hours late in South Carolina. While trying to schedule the final drop-off I was told I had 1 box instead of 2. I was told my reservation was messed up and I gave them notes for delivering since my house is new and isn't on maps and not one driver got those notes. The only person worth any amount of money at the South Carolina location is Robert. If I didn't have Robert's cell phone, I would never been able to get into my boxes or have them delivered to my residence. If you check my number and see the amount of time I spent on the phone with UHaul over the last 9 months, you could maybe see how infuriating this experience has been. 0/10 would not recommend to anyone.

Larry M | Overall ExperienceFirst truck we were assigned didn’t have the rented dollies. And it was over heating. Then we had to go searching the lot for second truck and then unload and reload the equipment myself and I was over 2 hours late getting started moving. Lost a lot of help on the move because of this
DAWN MI rented two trucks from this location. The first time I went to get the truck. There was a problem with my previous rental that was due to me, dropping it off on Sunday and they were closed and the truck didn’t get reported till Monday and they charged me for extra day and I had to pay that first before I could rent a truck. The second rental truck wasn’t ready. They gave me directions to the wrong truck on the side of the building and my truck was in a mixed with the stored ones, I got the truck the supplies not in it that I ordered had to be cleaned out before they gave it to me and gather my supplies. Your company has the customers check in the truck take pictures this as bad as going to a grocery store and having a customer use self check out.

TIFFANY HThere were ants visibly walking on the dashboard. A message was displayed on the dash regarding the right front tire needing air. The employees checking out the truck put air in the tire and didn't know how to remove the message. The employee checked air in all tires by pounding on them, no air gauge was used. The passenger side side view mirror was broken. Each time the mirror was adjusted it quickly turned outward so there was no visibility on the right side of the 10" truck.
LISA DThere was someone there by the name of Unique and she was the most unprofessional loud person I’ve ever dealt with. She kept lying on another location trying to get us to pay additional money scanned drivers license on person phone. She wasted so much of our time thinking she knew everything and Ebony tried to explain to her but she just kept saying the other location this the other location that. Then Robert came explained everything and fixed it. Unique didn’t have a clue and should not e working with customers we weren’t the only ones she talked to that way

Sam ZI reserved a 5x8 trailer one way from Myrtle beach sc to waterford mi 2 weeks earlier the day i went to pick it up, the trailer had bad tires Thankfully there was another location next store that had one available Im disappointed my equipment was not ready when reserved

I also had to find and un-park the truck I was given from the back of a packed lot, (had to have a spotter to get the truck out safely rather than the truck being "ready")

Donald PWhenever I went to this location,I was always greeted by a staff member that asked if I needed any assistant with anything. On the last day that I was moving out,there was a problem with the automatic door opening. I went to the office to mention it to attendant. He came right out and figured out that someone had shut off a switch on the inside,locking the door. He turned it back on and everything was good after that. Very friendly and even asked if I needed help with moving anything.

Now our kinfolk said you’re gonna need some storage for all your belongings. That there truck rental app had a deal that just couldn’t be beat! We put our belongings in there and met some really nice employees along the way, but the journey is over and we were happy!
