I’ve had a few doubts first day I moved in i was misinformed about hours and we had the cops called in us my mother in-law got trespassed off the property. Then we had to leave our U-Haul half full in the middle if the night with no lock be side they closed down . Then the second time staff locked my self my daughter and another customer inside the property and turned off the automatic doors so we came out the loafing bay door I left it open and called th and told them

I've been renting a storage unit from this place for almost 6 years. When I first started, it was wonderful. The on-site management staff was terrific, very helpful. Over the last few years, it has consistently gone downhill.
Out of the blue I received a text message telling me that I had to come in& sign a new lease because I had paid late. Except, I was on auto bill and hadn't paid late. When I questioned it, the next text that they responded was telling me they never said that. LOL that's about the standard you should expect from them at this point. Since I've been pretty unimpressed with them the last 2 years anyway, I decided just to move out.
While I was trying to move out, they had the access blocked by a massive truck and refused to move it. The explanation was that they couldn't move it because there was nowhere to put it which was ridiculous because there was plenty of space. When I asked for the manager who had made the decision that they couldn't move the truck, I was informed she had gone to lunch. ( I wish I could attach pics of the massive truck blocking access and the wide open parking lot that they claim didn't allow them to move it for me to load my stuff.)
Then, the access doors locked on me and I was trapped inside with no way out of the building. I had to bang on the door to the office to finally get somebody to come deal with it.
When I first moved in there, they had access clickers you could use to be able to come and go while you were on site that you returned before you left. Now they tell you to jam a broomstick up into the door frame to open and close the door, they won't even come lock the door open for you without complaining about it. ( I refuse to do that and it was not why the door broke. I hadn't done anything to it.)
Also, based on the mouse nests that were coming out of the drywall when I moved my stuff out, I suspect a pretty serious rodent problem. They didn't come from my stuff...
Overall, there are better options out there and I would not recommend this site until they have done a serious overhaul of their customer service.

entering location on South Locust, the place to park vehicles was clearly marked. Not surehow I got charged an extra $65.00 for miles. When I picked up truck in West Point the destination of loading in Wayne and unloading in Grand Island was clearly discussed. Vehicle was clean and rode well.

I really appreciate the excellent communication from U-Haul about delivery. In Grand Island, I did have to wait a while as it appeared only one staff person was there but multiple customers. But staff was knowledgable and helpful!

Just one member of staff was on duty on a Saturday morning. At one point the line was 5 customers deep, plus their family members and friends. The staffer kept her cool and was professional with every customer, but I ended up waiting about 40 minutes before I was finally able to pick up the trailer that I had rented online.

The employees do not have good customer service. It is obvious they don’t enjoy their job. They also issues with their personal hygiene as both of them had a strong BO. The new dropping off process doesn’t work well because they can’t see when vehicles are waiting in the drop off location since the office has moved. You wait there for quite some time or have to walk to the office to them you are there and see employees just sitting in there.

Rental broke down 45 miles down the road in Kearney. Had to pay for gas in a loaner car go back to Grand Island to pick up another truck. That whole time was three and a half hours. I had to pay for the movers twice because I didn't make it to North Platte Nebraska in the scheduled time. Then upon returning the truck I had to ask for some kind of discount. I received a fifty dollar refund. I had to spend over 425 dollars more because of the delay. I would not call that customer service maybe that is what you value customers for.

The delivery experience was awful! My items were supposed to leave Grand Island on a Saturday then be in Lewiston by Tuesday. Monday I was on my way from Colorado to Montana with family members that took off from work to help me. That afternoon I got a text, not a call, letting me know my things hadn't left Nebraska. I don't understand why the company knew on Saturday the trucker didn't show up by waited until Monday afternoon to notify me. My family couldn't wait until they would arrive Friday, so instead of free help I had to panic hire a moving crew in Lewistown and was out more money. Added insult, because of something not my fault I had to pay rent on the boxes for another month.

Management was friendly and helpful, but unit was way more pricey than what it was worth. Very poorly lit; light from the hallway didn't reach into the unit. A single stretch of lights over each row of units could easily be installed at low cost. Access after office hours would have been nice too.

The hours that i could get into my storage unit were hard when you work until 6 pm Monday thru Friday. It only give you an hour during the week to be able to access your unit. I kept papers that were needed and it was hard to get them before a Saturday.
Other than that , the service was good.
Not sure the employee's but a young gentleman, couldn't have nicer or helpful.
