The staff at the locations in Grand Island, NE and Webster, TX were great and very helpful. However, our boxes arrived over 3 weeks late. We got many excuses for this but extremely slow getting the problem resolved. Communication was very poor. We made numerous calls (where we were put on hold for 30 minutes or longer each time) as well as checking the website which was obviously not updated. Finally spoke with Steve in scheduling who helped us get things rolling. We did receive a credit on our bill of $50 per day, which didn't come close to covering our expense of living for those extra 3 weeks. Would be very hesitant to use this service again or to refer to family or friends.

I originally had the drop off location in Aurora, NE. However when I arrived there I was informed they were closed and have been for a month. It was a huge inconvenience to drive another 20 mins and make multiple phone calls in order to drop off my rental. I would recommend you delete that location from your website ASAP so others will not be inconvenienced. Luckily I had time to drive further. Others may not be so lucky.

The hours that i could get into my storage unit were hard when you work until 6 pm Monday thru Friday. It only give you an hour during the week to be able to access your unit. I kept papers that were needed and it was hard to get them before a Saturday. Other than that , the service was good. Not sure the employee's but a young gentleman, couldn't have nicer or helpful.

Friendly and welcoming staff... I felt that I was rushed, but greeted with a smile and there was no appreciation for me choosing to do business with U-Haul. The inside was clean, but it smelled funny andthe windows were filthy. The rear tires were very worn.

It was almost closing time on a Friday evening when we arrived yet the lady working never made us feel rushed or that she did not want to help us.

Was forced to pay for the rental on pickup when I had been informed prior that I would have to pay on drop off. As well the rental did not even have enough gas to make it halfway to my destination which I find odd because I had set it as a one way trip to which I would've hoped that it was better prepared.

You REALLY need to help the woman on duty the day we picked up my cubes. We couldn't get through to the Grand Island store to arrange a pickup. Your automated system is horrible. Consequently she didn't get her 24 hr notice that we were coming. We arrived at 3:30 and didn't get out of there until 7:15 pm. Many. many thanks for the employee working on 7/12/21. She saved a call to your corporate offices.

We got shorted 2 days on our rental because someone in Virginia mark it as returned there so they charged us 302$ so my wife said take it back today and figure out why they charged us again.

I had to to a representative and my intentions were to be able to put a bed into my storage unit that i have rented for almost 2 years. I spoke to a lady about being able to get into my unit and was told there wouldn't be a problem. Well guess what i wasnt able to. This nice representative finally answered my call without being on hold for 30 min and was more helped than i expected considering the whole mix up. Very disappointed I am a senior and had to have my daughters help me by taking time out of their family time. Very disappointed paying for more in mileage. Going from 5 miles to 12. Its not alot its the point that it is double.

They were helpful and knowledgeable. The only "problem" I had with my experience was with the corporation sales associate who called on July 4. He informed me that neither the U-Hauls in my town or the next we're open for me to pick up a trailer the next day. I ended up driving 2 1/2 hours to pick up the trailer and bring it back. He was not at all helpful or sympathetic. Also, why didn't the representative I initially made the reservation with know ahead of time that these places wouldn't be open? The underlying problem seems to be a lack of coordination between U-Haul and it's cooperating businesses. Things like accurate business hours are pretty important when picking up a truck or trailer.

The Truck was not waterproof. The contents were soaked we could have saved money and just rented an open trailer.

I was given an estimate online for $100 for the time I would have the van. When I arrived it was almost $300. I was shocked. The van was dirty when I got it and I left what was in the front. I swept the back. I took it back and was charged almost $200. Since when has uhaul been so expensive?

I reserved a truck at the location in Aurora, Ne. When I went in to pick it up she tried to tell me that uhaul had sent me an email telling the truck was not there. I was to pick up another truck in Grand Island, NE some 30 miles away. There was never an email sent. The location in GI was very helpful and friendly at least. I did get a truck.

Thank you. It was a simple job. I wish I could talk to local office. I ended up on hold for too long (over 20 minutes) with national office multiple times. Next rental is bigger and more important July 10. There was a little confusion and not sure if resolved. I need two 26 foot trucks at the State College PA location on Benner Pike at 2pm July 10. It was a very Busy and we had been given an appointment for installation of our trailer hitch. And we were told it would take an hour to an hour and a half and because it was such a busy day we waited for three and a half hours. The work itself was well done and the employees seem to be very competent in what they were doing.

I have always had good luck with UHaul, but I do believe that their ads are very misleading. The pickup says $19.99 a day, but the day actually cost me $140.
