Was forced to pay for the rental on pickup when I had been informed prior that I would have to pay on drop off. As well the rental did not even have enough gas to make it halfway to my destination which I find odd because I had set it as a one way trip to which I would've hoped that it was better prepared.AUSTIN S.

You REALLY need to help the woman on duty the day we picked up my cubes. We couldn't get through to the Grand Island store to arrange a pickup. Your automated system is horrible. Consequently she didn't get her 24 hr notice that we were coming. We arrived at 3:30 and didn't get out of there until 7:15 pm. Many. many thanks for the employee working on 7/12/21. She saved a call to your corporate offices.Christine E.
We got shorted 2 days on our rental because someone in Virginia mark it as returned there so they charged us 302$ so my wife said take it back today and figure out why they charged us again.ALLEN S.
I had to to a representative and my intentions were to be able to put a bed into my storage unit that i have rented for almost 2 years. I spoke to a lady about being able to get into my unit and was told there wouldn't be a problem. Well guess what i wasnt able to. This nice representative finally answered my call without being on hold for 30 min and was more helped than i expected considering the whole mix up. Very disappointed I am a senior and had to have my daughters help me by taking time out of their family time. Very disappointed paying for more in mileage. Going from 5 miles to 12. Its not alot its the point that it is double.Vicky M.

They were helpful and knowledgeable. The only "problem" I had with my experience was with the corporation sales associate who called on July 4. He informed me that neither the U-Hauls in my town or the next we're open for me to pick up a trailer the next day. I ended up driving 2 1/2 hours to pick up the trailer and bring it back. He was not at all helpful or sympathetic. Also, why didn't the representative I initially made the reservation with know ahead of time that these places wouldn't be open? The underlying problem seems to be a lack of coordination between U-Haul and it's cooperating businesses. Things like accurate business hours are pretty important when picking up a truck or trailer.Daniel W.

The Truck was not waterproof. The contents were soaked we could have saved money and just rented an open trailer.RON L.
I was given an estimate online for $100 for the time I would have the van. When I arrived it was almost $300. I was shocked. The van was dirty when I got it and I left what was in the front. I swept the back. I took it back and was charged almost $200. Since when has uhaul been so expensive?Elizabeth L.
I reserved a truck at the location in Aurora, Ne. When I went in to pick it up she tried to tell me that uhaul had sent me an email telling the truck was not there. I was to pick up another truck in Grand Island, NE some 30 miles away. There was never an email sent. The location in GI was very helpful and friendly at least. I did get a truck.Rhonda F.
Thank you. It was a simple job. I wish I could talk to local office. I ended up on hold for too long (over 20 minutes) with national office multiple times. Next rental is bigger and more important July 10. There was a little confusion and not sure if resolved. I need two 26 foot trucks at the State College PA location on Benner Pike at 2pm July 10. I have always had good luck with UHaul, but I do believe that their ads are very misleading. The pickup says $19.99 a day, but the day actually cost me $140.ray C.

Check in was a disaster, took trailer to dmv in Guthrie and was told they didn't do u haul any longer even though the signs were still outside, they told me to deliver to Valero station on west side of town next to hospital. Valero station told me to take to Diamond storage one east side of town, got there and they had not been trained to take returns, so spent 45 minutes on phone and internet getting it checked in...David A.

You can start by asking your customer service agent to take a shower and use deodorant. He smelled so bad that nose burned. He dresses like someone that has been on a cattle drive for 6 weeks without a change if clothes and very little water. That's my only complaint. He knows his job well and performs his duties exceptionally. Just wish his hygiene practices were a bit more attentive.marcos R.

I would have liked an email letting me know when the container arrived. The web site should also show the location address of where the container has been delivered with a direct phone number to the location where it is at. I had to call to find out where my box was stored. On hold for 15minutes. Then I was given a number that just rang back to the national number where I was left on hold again for over 15 minutes. I had to drive to the location after getting the address just to find out that I was supposed to give 48 hour notice of pickup? All of this could have been avoided if the web site was more informative. I am definitely not happy with the service of letting me know when it was delivered to the storage unit near me and contact information of the storage facility. You have a great web site when it comes to placing an order. Please make some upgrades to serve your clients and your local offices once the product has been rented and delivered to the storage facility!Ronnie M.

Requested a 10 ft truck was quoted online for A 15 foot by the system. Waited for well over 25 min in the store because they were busy but only one person working. No one communicated about the precheck survey in store. The appliance cart we paid to rent was absolutely worthless because the wheels were completely shot and didn't turn properly ended up having to lift our heavy stuff we needed to move by hand could have paid just a bit more and purchased one... Do better....honestly we were quite frustrated with the dolly being so crappy and lack of communication when picking up the truck.... This is my first time using u-haul and it Definitely left us wondering if there are better options here in grand island.Daniel M.
