The people who attached my car to the tow had never done it before. My wheel well was damaged and I had to pay $700 to get my car fixed. I honestly wish they had just told me they couldn't do it because when I got to the Uhaul in Florida they told me my car was barely attached and it could have fallen off.Alexandria M.
The performance of the vehicle was substandard by any measure. The gas mileage was worse than your bigger trucks. The steering was so loose that it was difficult to keep it in the laneâ€”perhaps made more difficult by the rear tire being almost 20 lbs low in pressure. The seal around the side door was so poor that I stopped to ensure the doors were closed because the road noise was so loud that I literally could hardly hear the person next to me without them raising their voice almost to a shout. You keep raising your rates but the service isn't improving in a likewise manner.Mark R.
There were issues with the hitch. The hitch destroyed my trailer and the uhaul representative was extremely rude and would not be of any assistance and kept telling me that it was not her problem and it was all my fault! Is that how you train your personnel to work with your customers!? I was not told that I could not pull my own trailer, and she kept stating that their hitches are designed for their trailers! I asked â€œwas that in the contract,â€ she said â€œyeah probably,â€ but then would not help me look for it! I was told that the hitch would work for any trailer when I initially signed the contract!Matthew M.

When a customer wants to rent a pick-up truck, don't tell them that it has to be returned the same day. I discovered after I returned it that I could have kept the truck for 24 hours, the same as with any other vehicle that UHAUL rents.JAMES J.

This is the only uhaul place I never have any issues at. Everyone is so kind and always go out of their way to get their jobs done. I went to the location on high st or something & she couldn't even answer basic questions or point me to someone that could she very obviously didn't want to do her job. I'm guessing that the location is a hub. Lot's of equipment and a helpful lady running the floor. She was alone and needs help, but that's the whole country right now. People don't want to work. My pick up location was changed 3 times after I was supposed to have guaranteed availability or $50 off from the location I selected. I did not receive $50 off after I was relocated three times. The location I picked up the truck from didn't have any of the equipment I requested. This was a pretty bad first time experience and I will be hesitant to recommend U-Haul in the future.Morgan T.
There needs to be more than just one person working a shift so that customers can be serviced and don't have to sit and wait. Then be late for the occasion that they are trying to get to. Customer service on the phone was terrible the lady repeatedly was raising her voice and talking to me as if I was her child or something when the problem that had occurred was not my fault it was yours your idea of fixing the problem was giving me a $50 credit which didn't cover me having to drive to multiple places just to get my vehicle. I asked to pick up my vehicle at a certain place was told that I could pick it up there but when I arrived I was informed that they didn't have my order and that I had to go somewhere else. When I got to the other establishment they were closed the owner of the establishment was very rude and disrespectful if I find another place that rents vehicles I would go with themDerrick D.

The truck I rent broker up a trip of one and a half hour turns to 10 hours nightmare trip the mecÃ¡nico how came couldn't fix it and the Crain he requested took 8 hours to arrive. We was moving our meats freezer and all my premium meat spoil because the malfunction of the truck that the company assigned to us. The website had multiple issues. Links to add photos, etc didn't work so I always had to call . The staff was always very friendly and helpfulChristine B.
The delivery and pickup of the uboxes were great! Locks had been placed on our uboxes and we were not given keys, but this was resolved. However, we are having major problems with the movers who we hired through MovingHelp (Reliable Movers), which is through UHaul. They damaged several pieces of furniture and MovingHelp is not helping us get it resolved. They say that since it has been over 60 days, they will not help. Our uboxes were stored for 61 days at a Uhaul facility, so there was no way for us to know what the furniture looked like until we unpacked. It seems that an exception to the 60 day policy would be made since the uboxes were stored for 61 days. Really disappointed.Steven R.
You can start by getting rid of the the manager she is rude and very condescending also getting all worker on the same page because none of them have a clue on what they are doing. If I schedule to pick up my U- box at 9am and they don't have it ready till 2 pm there is a problemROSE S.

The truck we got would not go over 45mph and would jerk really badly when shifting gearsâ€¦ also would over heat that caused us to have to use the truck for 2 extra days because we couldn't move it without stopping multiple times to cool down and check fluid levels.. but other than that everything was amazing and the staff at the location we picked up and dropped off was more than amazing and helpful!! Well it's kind of like this when I was on the phone earlier today with somebody I did not understand what they were saying but when I want to the location where I rented the U-Haul truck that young lady was phenomenal she explained everything to me she want and took her time she even looked at her assistant and told her to give me some water cuz I guess I was hot your in-house people doing excellent job the one that was on the phone earlier not so great but like I said the one in house those two ladies are rock stars thanksOscar D.

The lady who helped me check out was nice. When I got the truck it was still dirty. The steering wheel was sticky, there was something that looked like soda in the floor, and there was sticky old liquid in the cup holder. I got a rag off the cleaning cart by the dirty trucks and sprayed it with the cleaning spray to try and wipe it up but that didn't work. The way the truck felt when I was driving it was not good. It felt really unsafe. The driver seat belt was hard to pull out and it did not return on its own after taking it off. I had to manually push it back in. The steering wheel felt like it was really loose and when I was on the highway it shook so much that I had to keep over steering to keep it in the lane. The turn signals would not turn off by themselves after a turn. I would have brought it right back as soon as I left the lot but I was on a tight schedule. My dad explained all the issues that I had to the gentleman that I returned the truck to and he just smiled and told me how much I was getting charged for the trip. It seemed like he didn't hear any of the safety issues. Overall it was not a good experience and I hope nobody else gets in this truck.Monica R.

I will not be renting a trailer from here again as it is not described properly. Yes it is a 6ft x 12ft trailer, but the ramp opening is not 6ft as I was made to believe so I rented the trailer just to have to return it then go somewhere else and get one that properly fit my needs. Wish I would've known and the description of the trailer be accurate to what is being supplied and saved myself the $50.
