Took about an extra 40 minutes to go through Ursula app to inspect the cargo van, take pics, and follow the prompts. Was not as user friendly and pictures would not take of incidents seen on cargo van. The gas meters return gauge was not easy to follow of the amount of gas to bring back.Gas meter in cargo van seem different from gas meter in paperwork- Hard to follow.

Steel creek came through with the save when U-Haul Moving & Storage of Ballantyne failed. Showed up at 5:30am for my 24/7 truck share resaervation to discover Ballantyne decided not to set the truck up on share and changed the reservation to two hours later and in person. I would never recommend the Ballantyne location to anyone. service there is usually sub par.

My issue wasn't with the location but with the inability to change my reservation online. I needed to upgrade my trailer and I was ina lie to successfully do so online.' I had to call in and wait on the phone for far too long for something that should have taken two clicks online. You also need to informa the locations of their reservations well in advance. I booked my uhaul two months ago and they didn't receive the reservation confirmation until a day before. Ridiculous way to make errors for yourselves and me.

Curtis and the woman behind the counter (sorry didn't catch her name) were amazing. After a POOR experience at a different location the same day, they really turned my day around. They treated me like a person, I felt like they heard my issue and tried to remediate it. Thank you!

The truck was run down and beat up and the check engine light was on. I was also charged for equipment I did not get and the dolly I did get was broken and we could not use it.

Fill the Uhaul with a full tank or at least half tank of gas. Curtis was very nice and helpful which is why I give this location a 5.

The whole experience was very confusing and overwhelming. The number of times I called customer service and was told "I don't know" or was passed along to another department was ridiculous. If I would've known that I was going to be responsible for doing half of the work of scheduling movers, figuring out pick up/drop off locations, figuring out where my Ubox's were (after they were lost), etc., then I would've gladly went elsewhere and paid more for a better experience. I will never use U-Haul/U-Box ever again.

Mileage charge is out of balance. The rental was $39.95 and my mileage fee for 55 miles was $52. A dollar a mile is steep on top of a rental fee.

This was the worst experience I have ever had. I was charge $130 a month to rent my u boxes instead of the $100 a month I was told. My u boxes were not delivered to location I was told they would be delivered to. Your staff way under estimates how much a house needs. A two bedroom house easily needs 4 boxes instead of the recommended 2. I ordered 3 boxes and it still wasn't enough. The moving company I used to load was only able to bring two u boxes. Leaving me to try to get another u box at a site that was 40 minutes from my house. The wait to get through to someone was 50 minutes! When I finally was ready to have my u boxes delivered I was set up for self pick up when I SPECIFICALLY ASKED FOR THEM TO BE DELIVERED to my new residence. In order to keep the same move in date I had to pay extra to have the pods moved one at a time. It cost me $1300 instead of $500 to get my boxes and to unload them.Pretty much every staff member I spoke to shifted the blame and made it sound like it was MY ERROR. I was spoken over just about every time. The only person who did not do this was Shelby. I do customer service for living and not even the manager I spoke to did anything to make it right.

Good experience, nice and clean, easy to pick up, however we were 2 women returning the truck at 11 pm, a little nervous taking pictures, returning key and submitting info because it took some time and wasn't comfortable sitting in the parking lot so late .

Lillian and Curtis were so welcoming and professional. We were in and out in a few minutes with both reserving our truck and then picking it up. They are second to none in customer service. We would highly recommend them and would use them again.

Approval should be done prior to completing a reservation when doing an after hours pickup. I had a reservation for 7pm and thought I was good to go but had to wait to be approved. Had I not been approved, it would have been a very inconvenient situation. Overall I'm satisfied with how easy everything moved once I was approved but I wish I would've known I would be waiting and not just able to pickup and go.

There are lots of options for uhaul in the SW Charlotte area, but this is our favorite! Mainly because of the superior customer service provided by Lillian! :) She was attentive, professional, and helpful. She helped us get the trailer set up and unhooked when we returned the trailer. They have a great selection of trailers and trucks, and it is very easy to get in and out of this location. Thank you Lillian for making our experience smooth and easy!

Was not told ahead of that that the place I reserved the truck from on line was not where I had to pick it up. Uhaul moved my pick up location without notifying me. This cause me to lose almost two hours of time before I could start packing the truck. I spent over two hours on hold to talk with customer service only to get transferred to another department that did not answer. I suspect this is by design.

Although I did online check-in, it seems like when you arrive in person you have to go through check-in again. In person check-in should simply be checking your license and getting your equipment.

My overall U Haul experience was terrible. I showed up that morning at the location of my reservation and they had no trailers. It took 1.5 hours of phone calls and driving to a new location to get a trailer. I am very disappointed with Uhaul.

A new location so things should improve naturally but the systems went down when I was there so I never fully completed the standard pickup process but to no fault of the location or the guys there. Uhaul just needs to improve their network if the moment the west coast teams come online the east coast systems stop working

The staff were professional, respectful and friendly. My vehicle, while clean, was damaged but a previous renter, but it was clearly marked as such. Though disappointing, this did not impair the vehicle from functioning.
