The raising band at the van that I had rented was roach infested and I constantly had to stop and spray to exterminate the roaches that was traveling throughout the van and calling throughout the van while operating the van it was just quite an unpleasant experience but overall customer service was excellentLUTHER L.

We use this location frequently and the manager is excellent but understaffed so it causes long waits and mistakes. He always fixes things, but it is frustrating when you are trying to get in and out. I do not understand if we reserve online and enter all the information before rental that the staff still has to ask and fillout the same info that we added in the preregistration. Why do we have to do it twice what is the benefit of pre-registration. When we arrived for the pickup, our truck was not available and there were 4 other customers with the same problem. Once customer had gone to 3 uhauls as his preregistered truck was not available at the original pickup place to get a big truck and he said he pre-registered 2 weeks in advance. There is a problem with your system and has been a problem for a year or more. The staff at this location said she was transferred from a Florida UHAUL and she said it happens all the time and is a problem with corporate in Arizonia. Not what you want to hear when your truck is not available, and you need it and need to get in and out. Thank goodness for the manager of this store who is over worked, understaffed and came to our rescue.STEPHANIE C.

Horrible customer service, 45 min wait times to speak to customer service. Always transferred to someone else. No one knows whats going on. At this location I got there after 9 I was the first person their besides the employee outside more ppl came up the cashier was late. I got in and there were to ppl in front of me so I told him I was there first he kept taking care of the other person. So disrespectful went out to the truck as usual the gas isn't correct and I'm telling him it's not but he wants to argue it is I took a pic and drove off after I drove off he called me a Black Bitch racial slur. U-Haul reserved this unit for me over the phone. I arrived to move-in and the unit was occupied. They didn't have any more units or any units close by. I was refunded my money but had to find a storage unit and add more miles to the uhaul truck I was driving. It was disappointing and an inconvenience. My issues: Traffic never called me about my truck reservation and truck pickup location before 6pm prior to my next day 10am pickup. I called them instead, stayed on hold for 30 min., kept calling until 5:45pm until I got someone. Took them a while to find my reservation. They told me the truck was to be picked up in a location different from what was on my online reservation file. When we picked up the truck, it was in poor condition. Problems with loose steering, bad transmission, oil dripping & smoking. Good: brakes & was clean. At drop-off location Rep claimed we drove 5000 miles & backed off when we disputed...then he noticed he was looking at the wrong truck on his phone. Advised him of truck mechanical problems ( thank goodness we only drove it less than 60 miles) but the Rep seemed unconcerned & just said OK. U-Haul needs to improve the online & phone assistance to support the customer experience...we should not have to hound them to verify our reservation & tell us where to find the truck. Plus better maintenance needs to be performed on the trucks...that truck could have easily broken down or caused an accident with its steering. The truck only had 30K in miles on it but poorly maintained. I have had better experiences with U-Haul in the past. I have no complaints about the storage facility experience.
