The owner of this location told me he would not help me rent this out. When choosing to rent I specially choose a location that can do a counter top checkout. he said he "didnt want to do that" and told me to call the 1800 number to Uhaul or don't rent it then. It took me 1 hour and 40 minutes worth of my rental time to get this straightened out. I ended up driving to another location who then helped me. I was not comped for my time and consideration for the extra travel to other Uhaul locations. When i asked for a discount on the mileage they told me to pay it or not rent from them. I have rented several times from Uhal and i have never experienced this level of customer discontent. Every employee acted like i was ruining their day for even being alive.Kenneth B.

Doing mobile check in to pick up vehicle is nice but way too much of a headache with all the additional information needed on arrival and still having to stand in line inside to pick up keys made it pointless because only 1 person was working the counter. Having to input copy of ID along with 2 references should be collected at time reservation is made to save additional steps and time at pickup.Michael H.

I appreciate the accommodations made by this facility. The clerks were always efficient and friendly! I relocated to the area almost two years with EVERYTHING I've ever owned! When times became financially difficult for me, specifically due to COVID and lack of employment, the UHaul Stone Mountain facility kept me abreast of my liabilities well prior to being evicted! The overall experience was horrible. The location at 1290 Pleasant Hill Rd, Lawrenceville Georgia, attempted what could only be described as theft. We had a contract confirmation where we had reserved a 15' truck for the price of $289.00. The night before we got a call saying we had to pick it up at the Pleasant Hill location. This was understandable. However, when we arrived, (after a 30 minute wait) we were told the truck would be over $200 more. The explanation was the difference in the two pickup locations, which is only a few miles. We showed them our printed confirmation, but that was not honored. We were told that we could call 1-800-uhaul and see if anyone there would honor it. After 30 minutes on hold we were cut off. At this time Jamie contacted "Vicky in traffic" at U-Haul Corporate who advised that the price would be honored. By this time the truck we had reserved had been rented to another customer. We were told we had to drive to this location at Memorial Drive, Stone Mountain to pick up a truck. This whole process took over 3 hours, and again, the Pleasant Hill Rd. location tried to steal over $200 from us, and would not honor our contract.CARL B.

I had a problem with the online return site. When I got to the question about sharing my location I ran into an error and could not proceed. It kept telling me location services on my phone were not on but they were and I could never get past that point. There needs to be some way on the site to get past that even if there is an issue. Very frustrating! Also, the lock for the back door of the truck didn't work so I just wrapped it around the latch to make it look like the lock was engaged.Randy E.
Slow pickup process through the app. App is slow and I had to refresh multiple times during the process. Approving process is unnecessary and takes too long for someone to respond. Consider how much you charge the customer, it's better to add some high tech to monitor these trucks instead of letting customers doing everything manuallyDavid N.
