I really like the MT series motorcycle trailers. The tow nice, but they are heavy. I guess in the rental business they have to be over built because you never know who's going to rent them and how they'll be treated. I rented one for a couple of days when I picked up a new bike. Easy towing, plenty of tie down rings, and the built in chock for the front tire made it an easy job. The bike never moved at all. Now all you need to do is make a two place trailer for motorcycles...ERIK R.

The 6x12 enclosed trailer that our son used, was NOT maintained properly as even in an empty condition, It swayed constantly from side to side. And worse in a loaded condition. As a result, his speed was markedly reduced. Very unsafe. Fortunately he only needed it for (1) load. Employee was apprised on return but got a blank stare. I rented a trailer for my daughter who informed me the right turn indicator light was not working. She was not informed about it. Upon returning trailer she noted that it did not work and in weather conditions could put her at risk. Attendant told her previous renter had same problem. The truck had starting problems where it would not start unless I shifted to neutral. It was very loud in the cab and wind whistled thru although it may be because we went thru 2 very strong headwind days. Fuel mileage was lower than expected, also maybe due to the wind.Jo H.

Wasn't compatible with our fixed income and due date. Constant battle with late fees ($15 turned into $20) and denied access with my card and double locks, lein threats, etc. Lady at the call center said they're were amenable to working with payments especially due to COVID and we would have fees waived for signing up for auto pay (never happened). When I altered the staff that I was intending on switching he was rude and condescending. He scoff that these would we difficulties with merit and simply appealed to fear stating my "stuff will get moldy" with the new storage company. Rather than being helpful or even trying to work out the payment difficulties, he said to let him know when I'm out and walked away. I feel he missed a valuable opportunity to retain me as a loyal customer with his lack of concern for customer service and poor ability to build rapport. I would suggest in the future that this facility could utilize customer service and personal sales training. I have a strong background in marketing and business and would happily provide suggestions or insight into ways that this interaction could have been made positive and ultimately secured my loyalty as a customer and even possibly created an upsale for this facility. In the future, please do not appeal to fear as the rule, it is the weakest form of persuasion. I could have been swayed to change my decision if the individual had approached the entire thing (at least pretending) to have my best interests and the interests of my belongings in mind. For example, asking me if I had sentimental photos or valuables in my locker that were not otherwise protected from the elements or insured elsewhere.Samantha P. | Overall Experience
I like the reuse of an old Kmart building for self storage. It's a great idea and provides a lot of space. I think U-Haul should do this to all the old Kmarts!!! The storage security is excellent and gives me piece of mind. Each unit has an alarm and there are cameras everywhere. Indoor loading and unloading is AWESOME!!! I am already searching for a new storage location. This was a terrible experience, and the prices are just ridiculous for the size of the units. They also did not inform us there was a charge for the advertised 24 hour access and second code, and would not pick up the after hours phone a short while after closing. Everything was fine with the unit itself. My concern first came when they got me mixed up with another customer and even called me at one point to come and take my lock off because I had canceled (I had not at that time). My other concern was I apparently did not secure my lock properly and got an email informing me as such. I appreciated them alerting me to my mistake however they also told me if I did not get up there "asap" they would have to drill a new hole and charge me $50. With not be provided with an exact time frame I panicked and left work to go adjust it. I feel given some sort of time frame of one hour to 24 hours would have been sufficient and not simply"asap".
