I do have to say that the person who took my reservation was beyond rude. At one point when I was trying to ask her a question she hung up on me. it seemed like she couldn't have been bothered to answer my questions. it wasn't until we got to the U-Haul location in Swansea that the young man behind the counter was beyond sweet and very helpful. I think if you're going to have people answer your phone you should train them in basic civilityANNMARIE M.
Please make sure the customer understands that they are only responsible for the gas they use. They told me the truck was full and to return it that way. But it took 6 gallons for me to refill it and I only drove 30.2 miles. No refund . I ate the $13.00 for gas.Paul A.

When I arrived at the facility I had gone into the office with a quick question and I saw the Uhaul employee having a disagreement with a customer. The customer was extremely rude and refused to have an understanding conversation. I just wanted to state that this employee kept calm the entire time. He was polite and rational the whole time, even when the customer was getting pretty loud with him. I was very impressed with how he handled the situation and I’m glad I witnessed it so that I could give this feedback. Gas tank should be on full. The gas tank was on 1/4...the contract states the renter will pay $3.50 a gallon if not left where it was. Why isn't it filled everytime? I had to gas up twice as a result.alden C.

The worker was very polite and knowledgeable, but I was surprised at how unclean most of the Interior truck was. I could tell that it was minimally cleaned, which is disappointing during covid-19. Sorry to be negative, but it's something to think about.Josh B.

It was cool. Everything was fine, besides the robots I rented from you guys. They were supposed to actually bring my shit upstairs. INSTEAD, They tried to steal my mattress and some kitchen wares. They ran away on springy robot legs, but their batteries must have been low. All good. The truck was fine. The dude who runs the place is cool, and everyone there was very respectful and professional, besides the elderly couple shipping an air-force memorial flag.ÂJeffrey H.

I rented a trailer and returned it the same day. I got charged for a second day, and I am still disputing the charge. I also bought a hitch insert and tie down straps and had to go to a different location to pick those items up. My experience has not been good. I would not recommend this location.James B.

The gentleman that helped me was very helpfully when picking up the trailer at the 600 GAR Hwy location . I would like to commend him. I apologize that I did not get his name. Thank God it was only 18 mins away from where my brother lives in Providence, RI, but I don't know how UHaul doesn't have trailers available in 2 locations on Broad St and another one on 35 Oxford St, RI having space for trailers in all three locations and customers having to go out of their way to rent when it could & should be where we want to rent from! In the 464 Broad St location the General Manager, Alex was helpful in setting up my connections for my next day pick up of the trailer and the young man that sold me the trailer kit at 35 Oxford St are employees that give companies and their employers good names. I left my wallet at home but it was already 10:40, and i needed to return my truck by 11:00 so i couldnt refill my tank. I do not appreciate Uhaul charging me 93 dollars for simply not being able to refuel after i left the truck spotless clean and undamaged.Eduard M.

It was ridiculously easy. Too easy in fact. Make it a challenge! Just kidding. I would like to say the person at the front desk was very helpful at the Uhaul I went to. He even walked with me to show me my storage unit and gave me the lay of the land. Made everything clear on where I should bring my car around too without me having to ask. Felt like he put himself in my shoes and knew what questions I would have before I could ask them. I liked that a lot. Definitely will be my place to store stuff in the future. THis is a small thing, but I checked the mileage when I returned it. The attendant then drove the truck a long way to the back of the area. When I got my final bill, the mileage showed one extra mile from what it was when I returned it. I am sure that the odometer went up by a mile because the attendant drove the truck to the back. It was only a dollar so I didn't say anything. But it really colors your opinion of a business when they are so petty and don't check the mileage when you return it, but rather drive it and charge an extra mile. I had a customer representative that was fairly grumpy and I felt more like an inconvenience rather than a customer. He did help overall but it was met with initial resistance. I wanted to drop off my UHaul at the Swansea location instead of the Twiggs location after I had just emptied my truck into my storage container and he told me I should adhere to my original reservation. I called Twiggs in Warren, RI and she was lovely and said it shouldn't be a problem to drop off my Uhaul at that Uhaul location. She initiated the change in reservation that allowed me to drop off my Uhaul. She was very helpful! He did overall help and take a truck but I felt as though I was inconveniencing him.
