Facility was fine, worked well with drop off on phone. Upset that drop off location given was in another town, in another county, 20 miles away. That's a breach of the reservation contract to me.

Hands down, this was the worst customer experience I've ever had. I was moving from Oregon to Arizona; when I got in late, the storage address I was given didn't exist. When I got to my storage place, I found out that everything I was told about online check-in was false. The person I talked to on the after hours phone line told me I should have been there earlier—after I had driven 20 hours and went straight to the facility. I had to drive a half hour away from one U-Haul facility to another one just to return the truck, and then I was charged for the gas that 30 minute drive cost. I was told twice I'd be buying blanket pads, but found out that apparently they were rental only when I got to AZ and was charged over $100 for one dozen blankets because I'd used them in my storage unit. If at all possible, I will never ever use U-Haul again.

Everyone was super nice and helpful. It was a little confusing to have to show payment information at reservation, pickup and dropoff. I thought i had paid, and left a note to that affect at dropoff, but I received a very nice call in the morning explaining how it works. Thanks again.

You app was a nightmare. It would not "accept" my drivers license photo so I was reqired to put "referecences" down. Someone calld my 85 year old mother for a "reference" for me to rent the truck and she was totally confused. App needs improvement

The mobile return Ap didn't work. It was very frustrating. I tried for about an hour to make it work so I could return the truck on time. But it was Sunday so there wasn't anyone working. I finally gave up and called the 800 number. That put me on hold for 45 minutes. Very frustrating process.

Have a list of what the customer will need to rent online, after hours. It took an hour to rent the truck and I already had a reservation! Also, if I had known there was a $31.00 charge for gas, I would have filled it myself. The people who work here are nice and helpful. It's not the location but the process.

The people at the U-Haul location we're great. These comments are about your software... When I went to go get the truck, I tried using the web page to pick it up. But I was unable to scan the barcode on the door, and taking a photo of it as the second option failed to work as well. I ended up having to go into the building to talk to someone to get the truck. Additionally, the after-hours drop-off process was a nightmare. The sign said to go to a URL to complete the process. Upon doing so the website refused to detect my location, which prevented me from going through the drop-off process. I switched from the cellular network to the U-Haul Wi-Fi and it made no difference. I then tried on an iPad, using Chrome, and the option to return the truck was not even present on the page. I then tried with Safari, but got the same results. I then tried calling customer service, but the wait was super long. so while I was sitting on hold I decided to try and see if there was a U-Haul app, to see if it could let me go through the drop-off process. I tried the app and found that I could, so I hung up the call while still on hold. I went through the whole process of dropping off (driving mileage, fuel amount, pictures, etc.). When I got to the last step, there was a failure of the app, and it made me restart the whole process again. This time I went through it again and it worked. All in all, I probably spent 40 minutes trying to get the truck dropped off. There are some serious problems with your software solutions. I would recommend a lot more testing of your software and also you should promote the app as a solution on your signage, in case other people encounter issues with the webpage like I did.

We had a reservation for a 26 ft truck and an appliance dolly. When we arrived, only the truck was available at the location. We had to drive the truck to another location to pick up and pay for the dolly. We found this unacceptable - the pick up location should have had all of the equipment there and ready. We should not be expected to run around to complete what we needed and had already reserved.

We were helped by Danica. She listened to our situation and our needs and went the extra mile to make sure we were able to get the trailer we needed as well as to get us set up with the next rental we were going to need on the following Wednesday. She checked to make sure we had the right equipment for my pickup. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone.

It puts a huge damper on your entire move when you have to spend an entire day picking up a truck from the local location then having to drive 45 minutes to pick up the auto transport from another location. I spent 3 hours at the second location in rufus because their system was down and the didnt know what they were doing!!! Then it took the second location a long time to set the trailer up on tbe truck.. Seriously upset about this!! The dLles location was very good though. Rufus location sucked..

We didn't like not having a "ramp" for the 10' truck - that was our only inconvenience. You should have these available on these smaller trucks, too! Moving is hard work at best. We are delighted that a new U-Haul business has opened so close to our home and that such friendly and helpful employees are available to assist us!

Very efficient, very helpful and clear in the steps needed to complete the process. Helpful on the phone contact to get me to their location, switching the location to turn in the trailer, as corporate wanted me to return it to a different location that was 50 miles -round trip farther away!

The manager was very helpful but the staff wasn't particularly friendly. The entrance to the office was blocked by vehicles so it was hard to know where to go.

I registered for everything online and still had to wait too long as the clerk did stuff on the computer. Cut that the computer time down and you will have a well oiled machine.

Simplify the return process. We rented on a Saturday and returned the truck the next day. The center was closed so we used the online return method. While ultimately successful, it took quite a while. Having said that, I understood why each step was included.

The personnel at the Dalles location where we left the truck wore no protective masks or gloves even though ORegon had its highest death rate from Covid-19 just yesterday. The drop off location needed to be changed twice. When I tried to set up the drop off at U-Haul.com it consistently said I had “no rentals”.

I reserved a 5x9 open trailer from another rental place here in town that u-haul, and according to the website for them it said it was available. They called me at 9:00 am this morning and told me that it was not available and sent me over to another facility that has now opened up in our town recently. When I got there, they knew I was coming from the other place. So, when I arrived, they told me that all they had was a 6x12 open trailer. I told them that I rented a 5x9 from the other place and they had no idea that I had even done that according to their computer system. Yes, I was a little upset at that point. The person who helped me said that they had a 5x9 but they couldn't rent it to me cause it was going out in the morning. I told them that I had rented that size trailer and that it was all paid for. The person looked and once again the computer said that it was not paid for at all!! I then asked them about a u-haul $50.00 rental guarantee that says if the item u rent is not available then u-haul will give u $50.00. at that point they looked at me as if I were crazy and said that they knew nothing of that gurantee. Long story short, I got my 5x9 trailer but with alot of Hassel and confusion.

1.) Have more Vehicle Dollies available for the purpose of transporting other Vehicles that attach to the Bumper of your Car so People can have that option to save Money! 2.) Put a CD Player in your Trucks!

I did the online checkout the night before to save time and limit close interaction. Unfortunately the attendant had to enter all my info into computer again. I hate hate hate that you force me to let you take a picture of my drivers license. I don't trust companies with my personal data. All my uhaul complaints are corporate issue not the location. They were very nice and helpful
