It was warm for a climate controlled units. It’s new and still under construction so I’m sure this will be worked out. April and Venessa were both very helpful and nice. April was very busy as it was Memorial Day weekend and she was busy, but still maintained a professional and kind attitude! The no is due to it being so warm in climate controlled units. Again, this was NOT the selected drop off location. After trying to get a hold of NAD auto works for 2 days, we finally made contact and was told that they had no room to take our trailer. We called another location and was told the same. We ended up taking it to the main Uhaul hub in town. Everyone was super kind and helpful however, administrative items had to be completed on their end so I was not charged for dropping the trailer off at another location. Again, this is unacceptable. If my pickup location can be changed by the company DAYS before I leave, I should be able to drop off the trailer at any location at NO charge considering none of these changes were even close to my fault. Overall I am happy with the service provided but your process could be relooked and streamlined.EMILY C.

I had a 1 day rental and returned the trailer on the same day; however, it seems it did not get logged in as returned. 11 days later I got a call from the store asking how much longer I'd have the trailer and I stated it was returned per my 1 day original contract. Charges were reversed but I'd not like that to happen another customer.Craig M.

Horrible experience dropping off my uhaul. Very thin young woman was rude, short with me and was not helpful at all. She would not take in my vehicle because she said they were closing the store even though my map app said they were open until 10pm. I was also told that they were short on vehicles and was returning mine 2 days early so you would think she would use some common sense and assist me, but no, she preferred to be lazy and worthless. She then told me to move my truck around the building to the other side during heavy beach traffic and gave half assed directions to me, I didn't know my way around the location or this area at all. After screwing around and finally finding my way around this huge place I park it. Then I try the mobile drop off and it was not working on my phone. The same young woman should have helped me but instead chose not to after at least 3 attempts on my part. Fast forward to the next day and now I'm being charged for a late drop off which I'm absolutely insisting on having this charge reversed. If your workers don't want to work, be courteous, properly communicate and help clients that ultimately pay their wages then they shouldn't work for you period. I have rented 4 vehicles from uhaul to move over state lines in 3 years, I will not go back to this location after this disaster and might just skip uhaul altogetherFRANK G.
I believe his name was Tucker, but I’m bad a name remembering. He was amazing! Very polite, very detailed, and answered all my questions! He showed me everything I need to know plus some! The only thing he could not do, and this was not his fault, was set auto pay and give me 24/7 access. Account related. Huge location. U-hauls as far as the eye can see. Easier to get in and out of with trailers than a lot of the smaller U-haul locations. Everyone is nice, professional, and efficient. Huge storage facility there too.ROBERT M.

The staff were excellent and very helpful here...drop-off was quick and simple. Unfortunately for U-Haul I had to visit this business twice. When I booked my rental through the centralized phone system, the customer service system was atrocious and deserved a rating of "zero stars"...a 45 minute wait time on the phone was followed by a rushed through interaction where I literally had to ask the woman to slow down so I could ask questions pertinent to the rental...she hung up as soon as she had my credit card information before I could finish my questions and review my rental. I received no confirmation of my rental by text as she had promised, and she had not asked my email address. To avoid using the phone system again, I visited this drop off location as it was close to my home and they were extremely helpful in sorting out both my agreement, which included correcting it to the required day of rental, and answering all of my equipment questions. I can only imagine the kind of situation I would have encountered if I'd driven 300 miles to pick up a trailer and been "a day late" because of the incompetence encountered on the central system. The folks at U-Haul Moving and Storage of the Emerald Coast definitely earn a 5-star rating from me for their efforts.Anthony L.

This was the worst experience I've had with UHaul, reservation with Solutions of Destin they sent me to Destin Towing & Uhaul and they said truck was in FWB, wasting my time driving back and forth and the truck rode like a old time truck very bumpy. I'm very disappointed with Uhaul I've used you very many times in the past, you can look up my times I rented and will let friends know what a bad experience.Vivian R.

Staff was personable and professional. The trailer I reserved had been put by the office front promoting ease of hookup and staff checked lighting operation before I left. I liked the online approval process and was able to upload a picture of a small dent before I left. Check-in was even easier..shout out to Cameron!linda E.
We had to wait quite a while to be able to get our truck because there was only one person working and it was a Saturday morning and was very busy in the store which put us behind our schedule of loading the truck. You need more people there on a Saturday. I turned the trailer in at 11:30 Saturday morning. Only one guy working and he was slammed. He told me he was too busy to put my return into the system right then but promised to do it as soon as he could. I have yet to receive the confirmation. Very dissatisfied.Steve W.

Nothing everything was great although we had to wait to unload because only 1 load n reload dock was open however let's talk about our cashier shocked me with her customer service his name was Dan I'd like to call him Dan the Man he was great and made my family feel safe about our 1st time renting from uhaul!!! Both times I went in the site was understaffed. Only one register and always a wait. I was called out about a problem with my unit and the person calling me was very rude. When I explained I was over 700 miles away and couldn’t just come down and put my lock on correctly finally someone offered to lock it correctly. After I moved out I continued to receive phone calls and emails that my belongings would be auctioned. Who ever owns this facility really needs to do better with staffing and training.Jo H. | Overall Experience

There was 1 employee on a Saturday. It took 45 mins to get rental. Then my rental was for a day but I got 12 hours for a full day rate. You can not get into the location as parking is blocked, there are safety hazards through parking lot. This location should NOT be open until they are fully ready.JAMES L.

1. Why was there only one person working behind the counter receiving trucks being returned and getting trucks ready for rental. That was not right as it took much longer than expected. He did a great job under pressure. 2. The 26 foot truck was easy to drive and rather enjoyable. 3. Return of the vehicle is where the problems began. Upon rental I bought some rope after the contract was finished. The young guy asked me if I had the exact change for the purchase which I did. Paid for the rope and left. 4. Upon return of rental I requested a refund on the rope. The young guy at the counter asked for my receipt which I didn't have. He said without the receipt no refund. I showed him where it said Uhaul on it but that didn't matter. I asked him if he thought I stole it and no response other than no receipt no refund. 5. Enter smart mouth #2 who checked the truck in. I used 4 less miles than anticipated but the bill was higher. He asked if I used the dolly and I said I had my own and yes I did. He chuckled and said that's $7. I asked about saving $25 for cleaning and again he chuckled and said he would have charged $25 to sweep the truck out. By that point I had enough of these 2 smart aleck's and came behind the counter. I will still use Uhaul again if needed but by all means not this particular one.Michael S.

Yes the facility is brand new and is nice and clean, but that does not make up for everything that went wrong during our experience. First of all, we signed up to do mobile pickup of our U-Haul. This was supposed to be the faster, no-contact way for pick up, but my Husband still had to go inside to get the keys and it took longer than it needed to. Apparently they were supposed to put the keys in a lock box outside and they just didn’t. Oh and when I say “They” I mean one man working at one small desk with one computer (in a giant room that could fit many other desk) trying to help everyone who is renting, returning, etc. On top of this only one of the loading door docks were opening while we were there so there was a line of people trying to load and unload there stuff and the parking lot is a disaster to navigate and feels like it’s just a bunch of storage units thrown in the Kmart parking lot (because it is). When we went to get our stuff out of our unit we rented a truck from another location because we didn’t want to support this location anymore. There is only one employee working this large building and lot. Spent most of my time in Lin waiting waiting and the computers a never work, they don’t take cash, no place to load and unload besides small doors in the back of an alley, no night hours to have access to your units. I dodn’t Set up auto pay, but one of the employees decided to added it in my second month without my permission. I will never use this location again. We are a military family that moved to the local area and used Uhaul at the old Kmart location to store our home contents while waiting on a rental home in the area. When we moved in, they put us towards the back of the building (told us we could use the back doors to move in and out of) and three weeks later when we went to move out the back doors were locked and blocked, and the only way to move everything out was through the front, although we were told by Uhaul workers that we were "not allowed" to use the truck bays to load our vehicle, or use the large doors. We were told to use the "entrance" doors, that do NOT function correctly and were locked most of the time. IS THIS WHAT YOU CALL USER FRIENDLY?! I will make sure I explain to EVERY military family in the area where NOT to store their things while in transition. Uhaul made our moving experience even MORE difficult than it already was, if that was even possible. I would give zero stars if I could.
