DEBRA BI resvered a smalller truck but they didnt have one so i had to drive 30 miles out of my way to get the truck . They were supposed to give me an extra 90 miles . from my distance . when i returned the truck They charged me to for over miles . if they gave me extra I shouldn't have gone over .

ROBERT JI was overcharged for fuel and for how many days I had the vehicle.
DAVID BThe people here could not read a fuel gauge. The fuel was at a quarter tank and they said it was 3/8ths of a tank. I tried to explain it to them and they swore it was 3/8ths and I wouldn’t be charged extra for fuel. I filled it back to where it was when I picked it up, and got charged an extra $15 in fuel.

RANDY BOnly real issue was your IT system. I understand you're going through some upgrades, so I understand problems, being an IT person myself. The rental cost was showing more than my reservation amount. It took them a phone call to get that straightened out. Also, the system was being very sluggish. It took about 30 minutes before my paperwork could be printed. No fault of your associates though, as they were great. I would definitely recommend this location to others.

RICKY GI returned the trailer a day early. One of the staff members directed me where to place the trailer. I did so. Waited a short time before he came out and asked me to park the trailer in a different spot. Not a problem. After unhooking the trailer, he complemented me about my truck and.told me he appreciated me. Nice gesture, which I took as there was nothing else I needed to do and he would check the trailer in. Wrong assumption on my part. I checked my U-Haul account on the app throughout the day to ensure it was. It still indicated the rental was "Active.". I checked first thing the morning of April 1st. My account still indicated active. I then called the drop-off location and spoke with Scott. He said that he saw my name and would take care of checking the trailer in. I waited a half an hour and checked my account again......nothing changed. I decided to drive to the location to make sure they checked the trailer in. I didn't want to be charged for another day. I get there and I spoke with Scott, and said that he would take care of it. He then went on to say that he was the only one there that early, and he had trucks to fill with fuel and had a couple units broken into and all of the logistics that goes with it. I understood the fact he was the only one at work, but in my experience in customer service, you take care of the person standing in front of you. I didn't need excuses. After he told me again he would take care of it, I got in my truck and as I was getting ready to leave Scott came out with his hand-held computer and asked where I parked the trailer. I told him and I left. When I returned home, I checked the app one last time to see the "Active" indicator had been removed. My suggestion to the staff is training on customer service. And to those using this location, ensure the staff does what they say they're going to do and get a receipt. My mistake was assuming they were going to do what they said they were going to do.

THOMAS JIt was the worst ride I have ever dealt with. The 26 ft unit needs to be maintenanced, I have a video of how bad it is if you will provide me with an email.
Jason FI really hate to say anything negative because the staff at the Thomasville location are so helpful and courteouse but washing the truck before it is rented would be great. It had mud down one side so it looked like it had done a cross country.

Charles WOverall experience was good. Unfortunately there isn’t a way to rent a truck for “non-smokers”. Me and my spouse had a hard time remaining in the vehicle for the duration of the rental agreement due to horrible cigarette stench. Nothing but headaches and lightheadedness.
