Personnel had to call over manager away from personal conversation and Christmas decorating to assist after answering a ca while in the middle of working on our reservation. In lieu of assisting to hook up hauler they were paying attention to rental facility alarm and caused several back and forth driving to connect hitch then abruptly left and did not assist or confirm safety hookup as requested. Definitely not a good experience after having visited the Worcester location to get the first half of the reservation

The customer service rep was very friendly but I don't understand why I had to keep trying to scan my driver's license on the app when she could have done it on her computer. And I had to keep walking outside bc there is no internet signal inside the building. It was 42 degrees and not being from the area, I was cold. Scanning attempts on the ID alone took about 20 min.

I originally reserved trailer at Allentown Rd. location but trailer was out of service. Manager there (do not know name) did an excellent job finding another trailer close by, transferring reservation, and confirming they had my reservation. GREAT JOB HERE! Penn Rasndall was good but Allentown service was 5 star.

UNPROFESSIONAL, rude AND NO CUSTOMER service at all!!! First of all they showed up 90 minutes late. All of our boxes were nicely labeled and they had no regard for any of them. We had several pieces of furniture to include two white living room sets. None were covered! George purposefully stomped on our white sofa and left several visible boot prints. George also told my wife he was the boss and did things his way when she reminded him to also take the washer and dryer!! All of our boxes were labeled with “fragile and glass” stickers and neither of those boxes were treated as such. When we opened most of those fragile labeled boxes, pieces were broken. Because we never realized all the damage before we unpacked, we even gave him a generous “cash” tip!! He also mentioned doing extra work but we would need to cash app or Venmo him. What a joke!!! George the mover and “boss” as he called himself repeatedly was extremely disrespectful towards my wife and had the WORST body odor ever!! He even had the audacity to ask for a flavored drink vs water which honestly he should have had his own drink!! He also dismantled an entertainment center and never told me he was doing that first. When we got to the new house, there were no nails and pieces to that entertainment piece in sight. We hope a uHaul representative contacts me asap to find a resolution to the disappointing service we received from the Upper Marlboro location.

The staff was just fine. The truck was just old. Lights were terrible for driving at night, to include dashboard lights. I couldn't even see the gear shift indication on the dashboard as the light was out. Wipers didn't do a good job when it rained. You couldn't even link one's phone to the radio via bluetooth! That's a tremendous safety feature lacking in itself!

Ubox was the biggest headache at every turn. I would spend the extra and use PODS to do over again. Moving is stressful enough. 1) I booked online for Bladensburg Road. Without calling me, Uhaul transferred the rental to South Capitol. I only learned of this transfer (and the later transfers) by checking my account online. 2) After confirming 3 days prior to loading at the South Capitol location, again without telling me, they transferred my box reservation to Upper Marlboro. I had to pay my movers for extra travel time because we only planned a within DC move. Uhaul did not reimburse the additional costs for transferring the reservation without my consent or notice. 3) I only used 2 boxes although I ordered 3. Michael at Upper Marlboro kindly refunded the rental cost for the box but could not update the delivery info in the system. So when my 2 boxes arrived in Denver, they charged me an additional $700 for delivery of the third box I never used. Getting a refund seems impossible as I've emailed the local office, called corporate, and I'm still looking at the full cost on my credit card. I'm expecting the worst when I go to actually retrieve my personal belongings from the boxes and can only hope they have not lost them or confused them with someone else's belongings. It has been a nightmare.

I ordered a dolly, which was not there. The car's dash stated it had a tire inflation issue. While the vehicle performed fine, this gave me concerns and no representative gave me a heads up on this. Also, it took a long term to pick up the vehicle.

Ubox do not hold as much as advertised. Each box do not hold a one bedroom apartment. Most apartments have living and dining room sets. One Ubox does not hold that much.

Don’t like the new set up uhaul has especially with the uboxes. I was an old customer with Capital Beltway for years and was very happy with them, had a nice spacious unit and very affordable I had to give up when uhaul took over. Don’t like that I have to call 24 hours in advance to access my storage that’s ridiculous. Not happy and looking for better options.

We would have stayed there if we had been able to keep the storage unit. We had been there for years! You always were pleasant and worked with us. When I arrived, I was informed that reserving a unit online doesn’t actually reserve a unit and thus they could not guarantee that they had an open unit of the size and pull-up access that I had requested. They did ultimately have a unit, but I had to wait for around 20 minutes while they checked. They also told me that I could not use my debit card to make recurring auto payments and that I would need to call in to pay my unit rent.
