Jaime CThe check engine light came on, which was a bit scary since I’m widowed and moving alone. Thankfully, the customer service team was excellent and very helpful. The app was easy to use, and while it was a little unusual to need a second contact, that process only delayed me about 20 minutes. Overall, I would highly recommend this location. The only issue was the engine light, but I was able to return the truck safely before my rental time expired. Thank you to the team at the Highway 90 location in San Antonio — great service!

myers dEquipment is never an issue at this location. I’ve rented from them many times and received clean/undamaged equipment. My experience with most of the staff has generally been pleasant as well. However, interactions with the manager (Kelly) at this location have been problematic on more than one occasion. She seems to have an attitude most of the time and is VERY rude. On two separate visits, I’ve had to discuss billing errors on the part of U-Haul. Not only was she unpleasant and unhelpful, she was also quite argumentative and confrontational. She continually interrupted me while trying to explain my concerns and offered no apologies for mistakes made by her or her staff. She does not handle customer service well at all and doesn’t seem to care about customer satisfaction. Kudos to the rest of the team there. Despite her poor example, most of the employees are much more pleasant to deal with than she is.
James WWhen i returned the equipment i point out several safety negligence that should be rectified and taken in serious consideration prior any rental to avoid any accidents: 1) The passenger rear view was totally loose and could not stay in place while driving 2) The engine light was constantly on (engine failure while renting !!!!) 3) The towing icon was coming in and out while driving !!! I don't want my comments to be taken as a bad mark for this location. They are very friendly and the manager, the short lady, is very knowledgeable I just don't want anything or accidents happened because of the equipment. I think an overhaul of the equipment every 3 months could deter any future incidents

GREGORIO TI am the customer but I did not feel like one this morning with all the issues with the trailer. Nothing was done to make it right. Nothing and I am the customer who hauled a trailer so you all could rent it in San Antonio and dropped it off around 3pm. No offer what so ever for the inconvenience which is odd. Samantha UEmployees very unhelpful, truck was across the street. When I found the truck the back was cracked open, rent sign was left in the truck, truck was dirty. Driver mirror wouldn’t move, passenger mirror would drift away making it useless and very hard to turn right. And the sun visor was broken, there was no key return so I had to leave keys in truck on drop off.

RICKY GDaniel was great. Although I showed up 15 minutes before closing, he never made me feel rushed. He took care of my contract and took the time to show me how to access my unit and disconnect the U-Haul trailer. He explained the U-Haul app and why it was better to check in the trailer via the app after hours. He was polite and professional—a definite asset to U-Haul. He made my move-in experience great...because of his service, I would definitely recommend your location to others
MONICA M | First ImpressionsDaniel took the time to explain the U-Haul app and how to check in the trailer. The only issue was the slope located at the drop-off. Luckily, I found a large rock in the nearby grass and was able to place it under the tire. It would be great if there were a level area indicated for after-hours drop-off. Overall, this rental experience was great. I would recommend this location to others.

THOMAS BI don’t think there is any need for change. Eric provided great customer service. He stated he was still I. Training but the Manager did a great job supporting him when he wasn’t sure. This was totally a great experience for me. Oh I do have a suggestion, the turning in after hour wasn’t as easy as I thought t was going to be. Downloaded up but I wasn’t able to check out I had to call customer service and the indidvidual sent me a Lu k to be able to retrieve my contract to close out. Maybe looking at a process that it would be easy to access all I kept accessing was the unit rental on my app.
BERNADETTE VI picked up equipment after hours. Used app to check in. Did all steps as instructed. But the app locked and I could not get combination to the lock on back of truck to get the key!! Had to call U-Haul. Took nearly 30 minutes to get through. Not sure what was wrong with the app, but it was a headache. Need to make it more user friendly and it should not lock. It was an app issue, not a cell signal or WiFi issue. Truck was clean. The engine light was on, suggesting it needed maintenance. I had no problems with the truck, but that was a bit disturbing. I would expect that your trucks would be adequately maintained. After hours, it is not like I could exchange the truck, particularly since you had no trucks available in Eagle Pass, TX area. I had to pick it up in San Antonio, TX, 150 miles away!! And I had made a reservation weeks ago.

JOSE OGood customer service from everyone I talked to truck was clean and in good shape was the right size they told me fit all my stuff perfectly inside... Had a gas problem in truck when I filled up the truck it keeps showing gas was low but it wasn't when I returned it the young guy in the back that helped Eric I think his name was he was really good about it and troubleshooting the problem was really friendly and helped me with the problem and took care of it... 5/5 Stars everyone had good communication skills and really professional excellent service will recommend this location to whoever need a uhaul thank y'all very much..

GERALD RWhen I walked in to check in, guy behind counter had zero customer service. He did not greet me nor once I had initiated a conversation with him did he ever have any type of customer service. He ignored me and was chating with his co worker about unnecessary things...were to get lunch. Then he tells me to go to the back of building to pick up truck. He again acts like Ii was a bother. I get in the truck to leave.I drive off , try to crank A/C on won't blow...and there is a horrible smell of urine in the vehicle. It clearly had not been wiped down or sanitized. After the horrible customer service it just got worst. I explained me dissatisfaction to the employee when returning but they never offered any compensation or discount. Again horrible customer service.

RUBEN HStaff were not that friendly and forthright in customer service. I had reserved a utility dolly and was told they didn't have one and the fee would be removed from contract. It was never removed. There was also supposed to be a car hauler at this location and there was not one. I had to take the truck to another location to rent a car hauler then return to pick up my car. This resulted in extra miles that I was charged for and should not have been.

EDWARD W | First ImpressionsIt went well till the end, I had used the services on different aspects , storage unit and uhaul truck.. so i spent a very good amount, so with that I brought them a profit , spent over $700..well when all Said and then on the very last day the storage unit had a door problem.. it could not open or close..it had a spring broken .., it happen so sudden..can't even give to an explanation why.. it was like that when we open it. So I got a staff member to look at it.. he said dont worry about jt.. he will take care of it.. it was pur last day of using it..we took out everything and clean it. So I called and spoke to the general manager of the valley hi location Kelly Delgado.. I had remembered that I spoke and told her we didn't need the unit anymore, she said all I need to do was to keep the lock and clean the storage.. so it was done.. she calls me a month later about late payments and blan blah blah .I was like are u crazy, I have already closed the account.. what are u talking about.. well she was giving me late fees , late check out, then she ask me about the door..she was trying to keep me liable.. so I wanted to just move on.. this was a unessasary experience..stressful, I had already moved on.. and she wss harassing me.. I paid for the spring o..but this was the lowest of the low ..is this how desperate uhaul is to make money...Seriously!!!!

I told them I would need 48hrs to rent a truck and I would be there they agreed and said they would call me with a time and date . That never happened , not only did we lose our furniture pictures adoption papers but all of my NAVY documents, I'm retired NAVY and all of my things I have collected for over 23yrs is now gone somewhere and no one can give me any answers these items CANNOT BE REPLACED , I just want our things back , can anyone help me ???
