I rented and paid for a auto transport trailer and came back the next morning (after my truck was loaded up) and someone at this location rented the AT to someone else in the meantime (even after they said that would never happen). Ruined my whole out of state move and cost me hundreds of dollars extra in expenses and inconvenienced me greatly. Very disappointed and dissatisfied with this location. Will never rent from here again and will be leaving bad reviews on Google.

The representative who assisted me made the process seamless. Based upon his experience/observations he recommended the small 'truck' rather than the van I was going to get and he was entirely right. He also noticed that some software problem voided out my decision to purchase the insurance, and had to resolve the problem in order to ensure that I had coverage. I would certainly recommend Victor U-Haul to someone looking for a moving vehicle.

Not make refusal of damage coverage a threatening tool by associates. If customer has comp and collision on tow vehicle, you do not need your coverage, as long as your trailer is attached to the vehicle.

Although the personnel at the Victor N.Y. location were sympathetic to my experience from the trailer pick up location in Livernois Mich., they pretty much had their hands tied, although they did honor my military service discount for the "other" location that wouldn't.

Employee did not hook up trailer correctly. Unhooked and damaged back of car. Was told to call roadside assistance. Roadside asked if the "bolts" was right. Then said nothing we can do and return it to rental center. When I said I didn't want to tow trailer back due to not staying on ball hitch, she said maybe we can come tow it. Damage to back of my car. Customer service call center is terrible. Only 2 people that seemed to care was inside sales personal, tessia and other gentlemen(didn't catch his name). 2 days in a row had to call manager because wouldnt return messages or seem to want to assist on dealing with damages to car, but was quick to charge me for use of the trailer.

Your review questions are irrelevant to my experience. On Friday 6/29, Victor (2 min from my home) said they didn't have any trucks...called Henrietta (25 min away) and rented 20' for Sunday 6/30. Arrived 8:45 am for 9 am pick-up (after 40 min wait) told my Truck was at Victor store. (2 min from my house!). Henrietta was a horrible. The "I don't give a damn how long you wait attitude" will keep me from ever going back there. The counter worker (1) didn't ask who was first or move like there was a line of people out the door. Another man disappeared while the line stagnated. Horrible. After waiting 40 minutes to find my vehicle wasn't there, my vehicle (parked in a parking space) was pinned in by a truck moved up for delivery. I couldn't leave until the truck left. Victor was very efficient processing customers, but, missed putting the dolly in for my clients. They made due without it due to their time frame and distance from the store for a return trip. I have not received my final bill as of today 7/2/2019. Expedite the process of getting your vehicle. It took over 40 minutes of waiting before I was able to get my vehicle even though I used the mobile express pickup option and reserved the vehicle online. There is no reason it should take that long to pickup a vehicle.

Yeah stop overbooking your one-way trips unless you know for sure you're going to have a truck for somebody you screwed up my whole move by not having a truck available when I was supposed to pick it up

1. The single staff member in the morning during pick up was great! He was fairly nice and kept his cool when he was obviously under pressure due to a large volume of returns the night before. 2. The rental vehicle was clean and looked okay. However, it sounded like it needed a service. 3. Overall not a bad experience in regards to reservations and rental. 4. The reason that I did not have a positive experience was because of the rude attitude that the staff had upon my return of the vehicle. I may have also been over charged. The experience of drop off may lead me to rent from another location or company in the future.

I reserved a trailer for Saturday. I was driving from Michigan to New York. Half way through Canada I get a message confirming a Sunday pick up. U haul decided to change my pick up day with out asking me. This was a major inconvenience to straighten out. I ended up getting it straightened out. Then dropping it off I took it where I was told. After getting home I received a call that I couldnt leave at this location. I had to drive another 40 miles to pick up the trailer and take to another location. More gas and money waisted. I filed a complaint and was told I would hear from someone in 48 hours. Well it has been 96 hours and have heard nothing.

Dealing with Victor location. At location, long waits in line. Calling that location, unacceptable hold time. When I did get to a person things were ok. However, I was very disappointed that they could not find 2 furniture dollys for my round-trip move day. I reached out and found 2 available in Farmington (10 miles away) and 3 in North Syracuse, the location of the furniture I was bringing back to Victor.of my 1-way move to Victor.

Was towed in after collision with deer.i was provided with a larger replacement truck ( all available) with no issues. Monty and the rest of the staff fantastic in helping make a potential disaster move into just a bump. I was in and out within 4 hours which include unloading a packed 15” and packing a 20”.

when we dropped off truck , worker came over and said you need to drop it off and will email. I was asking question about charges and he snapped at me and said we have a lot of trucks that just came in , we will email you! You can wait but it will be a long time, Just didn't care for his attitude and I wasn't the only customer that felt that way

Don’t cancel someone’s reservation and not notify them. Have answer for get it was canceled and a solution for how to prevent it in the future. U-Haul has without a doubt lost a customer for life.

Only two people working and one was new and not able to use the computer system. It took over an hour to pick up a truck. Also had my reservation changed to this location, without being told until that day. I had to drive an additional half our away, and another half our back to actually pack. Waisted more than two hours of my time. Will not be renting a uhaul again.

We received the U-Haul with a 1/4 tank of gas. We returned it nearly full. There was no provision for that. When I asked about it the employee was extremely rude about it. What a rip-off to the customer. Very disappointed. What ever happened to full-to-full returns? I'm out about an extra $30+ dollars because I couldn't adequately "guess" the gas needed to get the truck back at 1/4 tank. When I complained about this the employee's response was basically, "Suck it up, buttercup". I mean, he didn't actually SAY that, but that was his attitude. I'll try Budget truck rental next time.

We had to go over a half an hour to pick up a appliance dolly that was already reserved and should have been with the truck. Terrible u-haul experience and will never use them again

It took awhile to get going because the reservation was made as a one-way instead of round trip, but Ian took good care of me and got things straightened out. It would be great if online reservations actually got to the local store. On a previous occasion I made an online reservation for several days later, but when I got to the store they did not have any record of it and the equipment wasn't available. This time I made the reservation in person but apparently miscommunicated my intent to return the equipment to the same store.

This location has historically had major staffing issues. It is still short staffed and the workers are over-allocated but the new employees that I met during this visit were excellent. Great customer service and communication. Get them some help so they don't burn out.

The person who gave us the truck acted like I was a nuisance because I didn’t call ahead. The truck looked like it had gone through a war with all of the damage on it. I was supposed to have the truck back by 1 pm on Saturday. Our moving was taking way longer than expected, so I called Saturday morning to see if I could keep the truck longer and I was put / left on hold for 15-20 minutes after the person who answered literally huffed and puffed at my question. I then called back and was told if I’m an hour late I would be charged a complete extra day. So I guess I had to keep it a whole extra day.... when I took the truck back the next morning it was around 7:30/8 am and I parked it in the return section. I went to it the keys in the drop box and a person in shorts and a t shirt with no markings started yelling at me that I don’t put the keys in there. I was very confused and uncomfortable to be getting yelled at and lectured on where the keys go by someone who popped out of a cleaning bay in street cloths. To be honest, I thought I was going to get mugged or robbed and the truck stolen. This is the type of service you get when you spend $400 ??? This place is a rip off! This is definitely a story I will tell anyone who asks me about uhaul because I sure won’t forget this moving experience.

According to your guidelines, we were charged for gas we did not use. We refilled to 5/8 of a tank. We also were given a truck where one of the wipers did not work properly making driving in a torrential rain storm was Unsafe. When asked if they could come fix or replace wiper, I was told they were busy and to drive to their store where they could fix. To be charged for extra gas after all this, I was not satisfied.

Uhaul should always rent the trucks with the fuel level full. This allows the customer to start with a full tank, and it is easy to go to the gas station on the way back for the return and fill it back up. I rented the truck at 3/4 full and had to turn gauge on in truck and check several times while refueling to return to correct level. Horribly inefficient.

In the past three years I've rented trailers many times with a great experience at the Victor NY facility without issue. This recent experience with un trained staff who was rude was the worse and totally unacceptable. the only person who you can count on was Robert who always was professional and supports a great customer experience.

The employees at this location were even worst than the pick up, when I walked into the building I stood there and watched this guy sit on his phone for a minute or so until he looked up and said “someone will be with you in a minute” and then the guys who helped had nothing to say and no Information on where I should go to drop of the trailer.

Model U-Haul dealership, not like that dump on Jefferson Rd in Henrietta. Full service dealer but needs to hire replacement mechanic in order to install and inspect hitches, wiring, trailers, etc.

Attendant who got truck and trailer ready seems like she wasn’t trained all the way , didn’t know how to hook up the safety chains or secure the trailer on the ball. Throws a big safety concern , other than that was a very good experience, people at counter were very friendly and helpful and was in and out in about a half hour which is good compared to some other U-Haul experiences I’ve had. Would not hesitate to use again.

Please make sure that the gas tank is at the accurate levels. I was told the tank was at 3/4 full. I got in and started to drive off and realized it wasn’t. I took a picture of the level to show them upon return. When I returned the van, they asked if they could give me an emailed receipt (the lady checking me in said it would be faster since she had to check the van in before getting me a receipt and she seemed very stressed about two vans coming in at once). I said yes and expected it in my email before the day if close. At 5:00, it wasn’t in my email so I called. It still hadn’t been checked in after 1 1/2 hours. They said they would email it to me soon. The next day, I finally got the invoice. I got charged for the gas after all that! Even though I had returned it at slightly under 3/4, where it was when I left! The people were nice and friendly however the return experience I had was frustrating.

Dirty toilet in the bathroom. Bad workers: Didn't know how to set alarm right. Dumb & bad operator on the phone I called due to alarm going off b/c alarm wasn't set right. Too expensive. Overall bad.

Storage space offered was smaller than expected, a larger unit was not available though offered. I almost lost the contracted Moving Help and I had to go to another UHaul. It was a nightmare for me.

Nothing against the facility but if you pay for storage you should have 24 hour access to your own personal belongings instead of business hours. I’m sure there is a reason but this is for corporate.
