Given COVID I was very surprised that the staff did not wear masks. I was having a hitch installed and per the UHaul website this was to be while you wait. However, I was informed otherwise when I arrived. The mechanic was very nice and did a good job as I did not have any problems towing the trailer over 600 miles. I was not very impressed with the other staff.

This survey does not ask the right questions. My boxes were delivered (2 boxes). I only filled and locked 1, but I've been charged all along for 2 boxes. I have called customer service, emailed, etc. and have been told that my only recourse is to go to the location itself. Customer Service could not take care of the overcharge?? How is that cust service? I went to the location last week - service rep was not wearing a mask, manager did not come out and talk to me, was told my overcharge would be addressed, but a week later I've had no response or credits applied. I called the Zach Shattuck's cell phone yesterday and left a message. No answer or response. Honestly can't say I would ever recommend.

I don't know if it's the location or U-Haul in general. I tried doing all by phone to be disappointed by multiple problems. I left a half hour after pickup time because online instructions were unclear and not working. I had to go inside to get assistance twice. Returning had same problems, had to go inside to get assistance.

The trailer was in good working order but was dirty. It had mud caked to the front and side panels and had debris on the floor. Make sure the equipment is cleaned.

The radio area was flashing continuously, could not turn off. The truck otherwise was clean and well maintained, typical work truck perfect for our need. When we picked it up, there was only one individual working and therefore gas gauge was between 3/4 and 1/2, which was resolved on return. Pleasant, courteous employees at location. Customer service operator not so much and it takes far too long to answer your telephones - waiting 10 minutes is unacceptable for any business!

I rented a 5x8 trailer , a dolly, and a hitch was put on my vehicle. The pick up associate was not welcoming to me seemed not helpful. When i dropped off the trailer a young lady associated came outside seemed luke she didnt want to work she unhitched the trailer didnt check anything and proceeded to go inside. I had to aske her to come back to get the ball hitch off my truck its not my property its uhaul she seemed upset. The dolly was in the trailer she didnt even check to see if it was there. I asked the other older lady why they dont check so that i feel secure and all uhaul property is ok the male associated told me they have cameras for that i said no i prefer to know now so i dont have any problems later . The checkout lady told me the girl checked it and gave me my receipt and said i was good even though the girl never chect anything. I feel a little customer service is needed

I cleaned out my unit after my monthly payment had been auto-deducted five days previously. When I tried to call and ask if I would be getting any of that money back, having only used the unit five days of that month, I could never get anyone to answer the phone. I tried four times. So I drove over there, and asked the staff member on duty. There was no smile, nothing welcoming at all, just a flat, “No we don’t prorate.” That was it. Unfriendly AND unfair.

The engine of the truck kept surging and almost stalled twice on the road and DID stall once in the parking lot. When I went to turn it in, I knew I was going to be a bit late (I was at the location, it was just taking longer to unload it) so went to the office and waited with two other people for over 15min for someone to come out and talk to me. When they did they were NOT wearing a mask and we're in fact chewing food still. I asked if I could have a little more time to finish unloading into their storage units and was told (through his chewing of food) that there was an after hours drop off, but it was hard to understand him talking with food in his mouth. Even the other woman in the office couldn't understand him. Then when I did drop it off I had to use the website and was charged over $100!!! Nobody told me there would be another fee!! I would have dumped everything onto the sidewalk and just turned in the truck if I had known!! To say I am unhappy is an understatement.

Used location several times, always rude despite having all check in done online upon revival. This time even worse accused of being 3 hrs late and tried to double charge as they incorrectly recorded return time. The lot agent told me I was giving him attitude and he would double charge me if I didn't stop talking. I was trying to explain situation. Site in serious need of customer service training.

Nothing the employees did. The system was was down so instead of being quick like it should have been since I checked in online and prepaid. It took over an hour to do a new contract offline and then 10 minutes of discussion about whether I had to pay a second time.

Customer service was very lacking. At both pick up and drop off, I had to wait on the staff to finish their personal conversations before I was greeted. I felt like an inconvenience for being there. Staff was not wearing masks or following Covid protocols even though all customers were wearing masks. The whole experience just rubbed me the wrong way.

Truck was horrible. Needs alignment, hard to keep on the road at speed. Gas gauge sticks when filling up, so returned on full instead of half tank. No opportunity for credit or refund for extra fuel due to mechanical issue. Drivers door seat belt would not retract on its own. Employees didn't even want to hear about my review of the mechanical condition of the truck. I tried.

I only wish that the storage area doors weren’t left unlocked at night and weekends when the front office was closed. I felt vulnerable in there after hours since anyone off the street could get in.

The instore staff was friendly and helpful. When I reserved my truck online I selected to include the truck insurance because the website says if you pay for all your services online your check out time will be faster. When I get to the store and received my receipt is said I didn't have the insurance. Then I purchased the rental of a dolly. After I purchased it I was told that there was no dolly at that location. There is more to the story that I will not bore you with, but I never received my dolly and the regional manager did not help me at all and actually thought she was a bit rude!

There were 2 problems...The first one was when I tried to get my U-box's before they renewed for another month and was told there was no availability for delivery so I ended up being charged for another month. The second problem is my one of my U-Box's was broken into while in storage and not one person I have told has done anything about it. Never again!

Guy at counter, can't tell you his name because he wasn't wearing a name tag and didn't introduce himself, had no concept of urgentacy. I tried to use the app, but yet again it wasn't working. At no point after walking in was I acknowledged, until, "whose next" was said. Then I was asked for my last name and he simply stared at the screen then same "phone #?". If you had to find the reservation with my phone #, why ask for my name??? Then he simply walked away. No I will be right back, no excuse me a moment, just walked away! The interaction never got any better. I had to ask what to do when I return the truck, no damage was pointed out or documented, just "here you go!". When we returned the truck, three teammates saw my husband pull into the "return" area, but continued what they were doing. Then the same guy, slowly strolled over to my husband and the truck. I was inside where no one was at the counter. The 2 other teammates came inside, without masks on btw. The woman said how are you today? And the other guy went to the bathroom. At no point, "sorry for the wait", nothing accepting responsibility for making me wait. Overall, terrible customer service, the truck sounded and drove like it was going to fall apart, it also leaked on my belongings. The office looks trashy, and teammates continue to walk around without masks on. Would not use you again, would not recommend you to anyone I like, will go out of my way to discourage people to use you. Have a great day!

I have not been successful in having mobile device work properly when delivering vehicle back during after hours. Location services were turned on. Perhaps if you had a bar code to scan to ensure proper location it would allow another means beside GPS to allow mobile device operation.

HORRIBLE DELIVERY EXPERIENCE. Pods arrived 2 hours late - and then they only brought one at a time. Took all day and we got up early to meet the movers only to have to wait for hours. Outrageous charge for delivery when that was not explained up front.

Nothing against this location. My issue is with (1) the Uhaul main number for customer service and (2) "Traffic" as well as (3) web issues with returning after hours. I've tried to reach someone at "Traffic" and the Uhaul main number multiple times in the last week and had to wait on hold for way too long--over 15 min. On two of the calls, I just hung up. When I tried to return the trailer after hours, there was an issue with the website recognizing my location (that I was at the Uhaul location) even though I tried on 2 different phones. Therefore, we had to spend an extra hour the next day to return the trailer. The staff at the return location said there's been an issue with the app "all weekend."

I moved out of my unit aug 19th 2020, went into office and told them I was moving....asked if i needed to sign anything, the staff said no and blew me off. 2 weeks later I get a call from a manager asking if I had.moved out of the unit. My move was finalized 2 days after that sept 1 2020. Im disappointed in the lack of communication and the laziness of the employees who couldn't complete my move the day I actually moved out.

Everything went great...until it didn't. I tried to cancel my storage unit in store and was told I would receive a receipt by email. I never did, had to call and struggle to close it over the phone

Facilities could use updates compared to other uhaul facilities. The staff was courteous though always too busy. I had issues with ending my storage reservation despite conversations with 2 employees.
