The truck that I rented should be serviced, the transmission seriously needs mechanical attention this cause me time because the truck could only accelerate 60 mpg. The other ssue with the transmission is that it burnt up gas causing me to reill the truck twice (to the required fuel level (per rental agreement). I explained this to one of the technicians once I returned the truck and he only discounted $20.00 off of the charge. I'm just thankful that the truck didn't brake down on the road but it should truly be serviced and not rented until the problem is rendered.Maureen E.

The move was approximately 1 mile for a total 5 miles from my storage unit to my new senior apartment. That is with 2 trips. I was quoted correctly when I picked up the van but upon returning i was charged for 85miles. How do I have this corrected? I feel cheated and taken advantage of.Steven B.

This was absolutely the worst experience I have ever had renting from uhaul. To be honest I have tried contacting the owner/manager several times and have gotten no response. I had to walk out yesterday after waiting about 30 min and the employees were so unprofessional and disrespectful that they refused to help me and was actually offering behind behind us service. My experience with my reservation online was HORRIBLE! I had reserved a 26ft truck for 5 days. 10 min before my reservation I received a phone call from the location telling me I had to go to a different location. When I got to the second location they gave me the truck and I left. 1 hour later I received a text telling me the truck had to be returned in 24 hours and that someone from uhaul had changed my reservation.Monean M.

On the app it didn't specify that the previous location I reserved with didn't have an appliance dolly, so that branch Westside Biz and Mailstop had to transfer my booking to the Ave. J & 20th West location. The only nice worker was the girl with the piercings , the other people were just so boring and not happy to be there. The guy who was wearing a mask at the last desk to the right was so sad with his life the day I got the U-Haul. And the guy with the big â€œDiamondâ€ earrings when I dropped off the truck was so mono tone and hated life too. Only the girl was sweet and genuinely happy to have a job lolelora C.

The truck was a piece of junk. Power steering was heavily worn, steering wheel was sticky, transmission sounded like it was on its final run, and it really felt like I'd get stranded. Luckily it wasn't the case, but maybe it's time to retire that truck.Anubis M.

The issue is, they called me from the location abut the rental and to find out when I was going to return the rental. They told me to call them back, well, is IMPOSSIBLE to call back to the location, you get routed to the call center and sorry, but these people are worthless, stupids, no common sense whhasoever, please they need training ASAP. they are unable to make a decision, they keep transfering thecall to a diferent location over and over again.Gustavo O.

Employee called the next day for me to bring the trailer back. I had turned it in on the day I rented it, 2 hours later (same day). I went inside, and my friend stayed with the trailer. He said the Employee helped un hitch it, andput it in it's parking space. I stood in line, and waited to tell them i was back. Employee said I'm ready to go, and dismissed me. I had so much gas left over from. My move. And for sure thought I would get somewhat of a refund.. like I did a month ago with uhaul in sd. But this guy thought I was joking.. nope!! I better get something after dropping 250 in gas on an empty truck when I got it. Didn't know how the gas mileage was. I didn't like that I had to retrieve my own uhaul truck, do the walk around alone and log the mileage myself. Although I only traveled between 7 to 9 miles and the gas indicator didn't budge, I was still charged for extra mileage. I was at the storage unloading and it happened to be after hours and I was able to get in and out until I was able to lock up the storage. I was trying to empty the storage out Saturday night 7/24/21 and I was locked out with all of my stuff out in the walk ways and my unit open and was not able to go back in to at least close up the unit. Cause of this my stuff was out and unit was open. There was no lock had to go to the office. The customer service reps were very helpful I had trouble getting in with the passcode.
