Person on counter was rude. At first he told me that cargo van is not available though I booked it online and one cargo van was outside. He tried to give it to someone else and when I told him that I have reserved it. In response he told me to lower my voice though I was politely asking. When I arrived to check in, I was told that they didn't have any and this was not guaranteed but only a requested. We dropped off a 6x12' trailer Sunday 8/7/22 and got a call on Monday afternoon asking us why we hadn't brought back the trailer and when we would be bringing it back. When we dropped it off the young man said we didn't need to go inside for anything and he didn't need any info from us to check the trailer in. I just assumed you guys scanned a tracking code or something then since you didn't need any info from me. It's a little stressful to think we could have been responsible for â€œlost equipmentâ€ since someone else dropped the ball here. Other than this experience we've always had good luck with uhaul. I dropped off the trailer they said I would get a email receipt in 30 minutes I never received one so I checked back with them later and no one had checked in the trailer I finally got a email receipt I could have been charged a late fee if I hadn't check back with them on the check in of the trailerLonnie M.
I don't recall the associate's name that I dealt with in the store, but I did not feel that she was service or solution oriented. I felt that my questions were a bother to her, and her responses were very vague. There was another associate that was very helpful, energetic and clearly solution oriented. When I called to ask about the process to return my truck on Sunday, Liz answered (and I suspect she may have been the individual I had dealt with when picking up the rental). I was driving towards the store a few minutes before 5:00 pm and new I would not make it before they closed. I asked what the process was to turn the vehicle in after hours. Liz asked "did you receive the rental agreement?". I had received it, but after a long weekend of packing, driving to Kansas, unloading and driving back in less than 48 hours, I couldn't locate the piece of paper with the instructions. She then told me I should have an email with the instructions. So, when I arrived at the location, I had to search through my emails to find the instructions. I felt that it would have been very simple for her to offer just a few simple suggestions rather than just referring me back to my email and the documents. Even if she had just said where to park, and that once I locate the email, there will be a video that will take me through the after hours process step by step. I might refer someone to this location, and I might rent another vehicle from this location, but I will avoid the unhelpful associate and seek the super friendly, enthusiastic young lade with the red hair.MaryAnn K.

Two truck reservations in one week. 1st - A 20-foot truck that was dirty, the steering wheel lose, and local customer service extremely rude, and unprofessional. 2nd - Exchanged for a 26-foot truck, also dirty. On Friday, August 4, 2022, at approximately 10:23pm I experienced a flat tire in Pauls Valley, OK in route to my destination of Stillwater, OK. just off 1-35 and was forced to pull off the highway into a parking lot at a gas station. I immediately referred to my Uhaul Rental Contract and notified UHAUL Emergency Roadside Assistance, only to receive a voicemail indicating I had reached Uhaul Roadside Assitance and if it was a real emergency to hang up and call 911. If not, to leave my name and number and contract number and a representative would call me back within 30 minutes. So I began waiting for the UHAUL Roadside Assistance to return my call after exceeding the 30 minute wait time for someone to call me back I was promised. I called back the Roadside Assistance to get an update on my situation. After calling back 3-4 times I finally received a call from a very nice young lady whom took all my information and assured me they were working on securing a vendor to assists me and provide the necessary service for my tire so that I could continue to my final destination. and she indicated to me at that time she was working on trying to contact a vendor who could come provide me some assistance. It was now approaching Midnight and stores were closing and traffic was becoming less and less. At this point, I began to get very concerned and increasingly anxious because I also had my (3) large dogs that were with me on this move began vomiting in the backseat of my SUV because of the heat and lack of air and being stranded for hours in my vehicle. My poor parents whom I called back when this situation started were so patient and also trying to call on their end to help me and my dogs get some help. phone with me the whole time trying to Obviously, I became very concerned and upset that this situation had now become and EMERGENCY and dangerous for myself, my dogs and my vehicle. So, I decided after waiting now for almost-5 hours, with still NO SIGN OR HELP from UHAUL EMERGENCY ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE, I decided to take matters into my own hands and NO LONGER WAIT ON THE "EMERGENCY ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE" promised to me, per the UHAUL CONTRACT I signed that day in the event of an emergency. I called them back and asked if it would be possible to travel down the street 2.1 miles from where I was waiting for the Uhaul Roadside Assistance. located at 101 N. Ash Street in Pauls Valley, ok and if I could get permission to find the same trailer and do the repair myself on a trailer that was in their parking lot. To me that was the most reasonable and practical solution that would not add any additional danger or harm to anyone, due to the time of night at this point it was approaching 2:30am. The Uhaul Roadside Representative indicated to me she could not "approve" something like that until she was given approval on her end. So she said she was notating my account of my request so that all the information was up to date. I still had no ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE, in fact ever time I called them back to get an update they still said they were still trying to find a vendor to come help me, but they were having NO luck with ANYONE. I even went as far as to contact the local police and ask for assistance, unfortunately they too were unable to provide any help to me. I called ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE back and asked them if it would be possible to go the nearest UHAUL dealer which just happen to be 1 1/2 down the road located at 101 N. Ash Street Pauls Valley, Ok.? So, I went to the Uhaul down the street to the Uhaul Dealer located on 101 N. Ash Street and performed the repair myself using my tools and equipment. After I completed the repair on the tire, I gathered my tools and equipment, cleaan up the area where I performed the tire changes and made my way to Stillwater,Ok. FINALLY, at 4:30am I was HOME !!! I was grateful I made it home safely, along with my (3) dogs. I unpacked my trailer and cleaned it up and drove to the drop off location Bobbie D's 2601 W. 6th Street Stillwater. Per my conversation earlier today with Jackie Jones the Store Manager at the Mckinney location because the original contract had my return location listed as Edmond, Ok. I called to make the change prior to dropping it off. However, was unable to change the Return location noted on the original contract so Bobbie D's Uhaul in Stillwater, Ok charged me an additional $27 for returning my trailer to a different location than what was noted on the original contract. I am so disappointed in the POOR virtually NO CUSTOMER SERVICE I did received or lack there of from UHAUL Roadside Assistance.and NO ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE we experienced and am very unsatisfied. I am requesting a FULL REFUND and reimbursement for the TOTAL UHAUL Equipment Rental charges, in addition to the two additional charges, I incurred on my debit card for gasoline. Per my conversation with Ms. Jackie Jones Store Manager at Uhaul Moving & Storage of West Mckinney located at 10061 W.University Dr. Mckinney, Tx. 75071 (972) 548-1699 I have attached all (4) receipts for Refund and Reimbursement that she has approved. (1) Uhaul Equipment Rental Receipt for $215.60, (2) Bobbie D's Receipt for Additional Charge for Change in Drop off Location $27.90, (3) 7-11 Store 33119 Frisco, Tx Receipt for Authorized Transaction for Gasoline in the amount of $65.27 (8/4/22) prior to traveling to Destination. depending on who you get, some staff not the friendliest. the lady at the counter wasn't overly friendly and seemed like it was a chore to try and help me out, either that or she wanted to go to lunch, i dont know but her mgr was very friendly in talking with me. so unlike pods, uhaul couldn't deliver to my new subdivision for some reason, so they delivered to this location and i had to come here to unload my uhaul container. i went to the back to go and unload the container and it was not outside. now i'm starting to get mad. person that brought out my container wasn't the friendliest person either. i don't need to be lectured just because i walked around looking for my container as i didnt hear her when she said she still had to get my container. i thought it was one of the 3 set outside already. this was not a good experience with the uhaul container. pickup and load was good. delivery and unload was bad. next time i will just pay more $ for pods, that was a more seamless and way better experience.Carlo H.

The staff seemed frazzeld and overwhelmed as I stood in line for 30 minutes. Finally got to the van and the mileage on the contract was under the actual mileage. The online tool froze up while trying to fill out the info. I asked one of the people outside what to do and they said take a picture and resolve it when I return it. When I returned the van I asked about the mileage and they said go inside to get assistance then they sent me back outside as they said they could not fix the mileage. My reservation was at 10am. I walked inside at 10:01am. I stand up and wait for 40 minutes before I got served. Then I stand up and waited for another 40 minutes while being served. Literally ridiculous. And to add, the RV they booked me for was not even available and was not in the back. I had to wait even longer for them to give me another one. A big dark guy was doing a good job though. The staff wasn't bad. They just were moving extremely slow and it was honestly draining and overbearing. Staff was not professional. He rushed the entire transaction. Anytime I would ask a question he would cut me off by answering the question before I could even finish saying it (sometimes he provided the wrong answer because he wouldn’t wait to hear my entire question before answering). He was eating his lunch right in front of me as I was trying to get information about my uhaul (normally I wouldn’t mind this but this guy was eating mozzarella sticks so he was stretching the cheese out of his mouth while speaking to me. Just very unprofessional). While walking me to my storage unit he was moving quickly. At one point he turned two corners and I didn’t know where he went because he was walking so far ahead of me. After we arrived at my storage unit, he opened the door for me then wished me a nice day and walked off. I would have appreciated if he would have asked if I had any questions about the unit (which I did) or offered to walk me back to the front of the storage building because the place was a maze. I had to figure out how to get out on my own since he left immediately after opening the door. I rated 2 stars because the worker was able to complete my reservation without any issues so he at least did that part well.Asia C. | First Impressions
