The u haul on three eighty in mckinney did an excellent job of helping me hold my stuff and move my stuff. I appreciate them and I recommend them to you as well.
joseph j | Overall ExperienceI received a truck that only has 3/8 of gas in the tank. I asked for another truck it only had less than 5/16 of gas in the truck. That’s not good business.
PAMELA HThe young man did everything he could to get my trailer connector working. Checked the fuses with me, opened up the vehicles manual, gave me some fuses to try, etc... Definitly went above and beyond. Love it.

CYNTHIA AWe turned a section of our couch upside down to fit better not thinking in the least that the floor was dirty. This left about a 4 inch square of black in our couch. I should have known to take something to cover the floor but also weren’t thinking one piece would have to be upside down.
PAMELA BThe trailer was not sweep out it had some trash. Please the right finger didn't work hard to use my hazard light from Dallas to Longview. That not good hearing my hazard light going the way.
ROSA TThe truck was not clean, and the handle for rolling up and down the window on the driver's side was broken.

JERRY AThe inside of truck on driver's side had dried mug on mats. There was only 1/4 tank of gas. The young people who were running this location were more interested in talking among themselves than helping us. They did not even walk us to the truck to make sure we understood where everything was on the dashboard.
SUSAN RThe team was frazzled due to an issue with two other reservations so everyone else had to wait and hear about it. It took a long time to get thru the gate and get setup. Of all the people, Max was pleasant.

CRAIG DThe Uhaul website lists them as being open at 7am. I arrived after 8am. I could see someone inside, but nobody came out to remove the trailer for the 15 minutes I waited. Someone else arrived and said they had told him the day before that they open at 9 on Saturday, but it said 7am on the Uhaul site. I used the app to return the trailer, and dropped the trailer myself. Not thrilled with the lack of on-site help, despite there clearly being staff there in the store. There are dozens of bad reviews online for this site, with some sites having nearly all 1 star reviews for the same sort of issue and lack of customer service. I won't use them again.
WILLIAM PTire blew out. Took nearly 3 hours to get someone out to fix it. Guy was very kind when he got there. First person they called never showed up after telling me someone would be there in 15 minutes. That’s a long time and unsafe place to sit for nearly 3 hours. The second person took 90 minutes once they contacted him.

KENNETH MRenting the truck was not a great experience. I went online to rent the truck from the Sweetwater, TX location. I had a confirmation of a pic up date, etc. Luckily I called the location to confirm and I was told they had no trucks at that location and they had me call the regional office in Abilene, TX. They informed me the nearest truck was Colorado City, TX. When I arrived to pick up the truck the dealer was in a run down sketchy motel and he could barley complete the registration/rental agreement. After that challenge, the truck was fine.

JERRY PSomething was out of sync with the 24/7 truck share because the truck reserved in the app was not there, I had to shuffle things around with an employee there. All in all it took me an hour to pick up my truck.

WILLIE HThe ratchet straps on the car carrier were rusty and very difficult to use, but otherwise the trailer worked flawlessly. The online booking tool originally had me picking up at a different location, but the notifications about moving the pick up location were clear and easy to follow. The location was easy to find and the employees were knowledgeable and efficient. They got me in and out of there very quickly, which I appreciated because I was on the schedule.

JANET RHave more reasonable rates. Its almost cost prohibitive for an average person to rent a moving truck. Seems like you must be renting mostly to businesses who pass the costs along.

MARY KWhen I walked in to the office, employees were helpful however, I had to call this location about 8 different times over several days before I could get someone on the phone to assist checking out of my unit. They just let their phones roll over to the corporate line who tells you that you need to go to the location. Not convenient when you’ve moved 1000+ miles away.

DAVID D | First ImpressionsThe move out date is INCORRECT !!! I moved out of the storage unit September 29, 2024 after hours. I called U-Haul to inform them because I kept getting notifications of uhauls attempt to process a payment and now I’m getting past due notices and addition charges notifications. Your cameras should see that I moved out around 6:00-6:30 pm on September 29, 2024. I don’t own any LATE FEES OR ADDITIONAL CHARGES. Not even the log out charge of $10 because it was BOGUS ! Because I shouldn’t have to log out fives times before the system accepts it when it only took me one time to login. Once I found out that was going on I put my code in once to sign in and five times or more to sign out! Seems to me that’s something purposely done.

JENNIFER Y | Overall ExperienceWe were using the unit to store belongings while our home was being renovated. As we tried to move belongings back, we found our unit was severely infested with bugs. It was so bad, many of our belongings had to be thrown away. Absolutely everything we kept had to be unpacked outside the house then cleaned and sanitized. I talked to a manager who promised call backs and other actions that never took place. We handled the bugs on our own. When we returned again to move more things back to our house, we found there had been a major rodent infestation. Books, pillows, and clothes were chewed through and ruined. Even reusable plastic water bottles were destroyed and there were mouse and rat droppings everywhere in our belongings. I informed the staff. They shrugged and said they’d let the manager know. We closed the unit and will NEVER use another UHaul storage system again. We had other units with other vendors in the area. No bugs, no rodents, no problems.

ANTOINETTE M | First ImpressionsWe had vintageand antique items in storage for an extended period of time. when we finally were able to clean out the last unit, there were rat dropping on everything and vintage linens were chewed up. I noticed there is open space at the top of the walls. I am very disappointed that those open spaces near the roofline were not covered with some sort of metal mesh to keep rodents out. Why are someone else's pest problems now my problem? If you need me to point out the issue, please let me know.

The original storage wasn’t available when we arrived to unload, U-Haul representative deleted our reservation, which cost more money with our movers, storage facility and gas with truck. We reserved the movers thru U-Haul for 4 hours. U-Haul kept us there for 1.5 hrs due to our storage unit wasn’t available, which that time went into the movers time. This is the Worst experience Ever!!!! We reported all this & management supposed to call back & compensate, but we haven’t heard from anyone nor received any compensations. We are writing the CEO and voices all our concerns. This is VERY, VERY AWFUL CONSUMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!! We originally supposed to be at the East McKinney storage
