I am not happy with my services because I was over charged for gas and wrongdrop off! I was told to leave the truck at 1/2 which was how I got it. I do not appreciate being told I could drop the truck off and then get charged a fee! You all need to be better listeners and pay more attention to what you are doing.

When I dropped off the truck and car carrier the gas gauge was in the identical place as when I received it. I could see just a sliver of the 1/4 full line on the right side of needle. When I got my online receipt, it was marked that the gas gauge was on an 1/8 and I was charged $27 for 6 gallons of gas, (I don't know where you guys buy your gas, but you're getting robbed if you're paying $4.50 per gallon in McKinney TX), and a $30 service fee. I called the main line and fortunately they took care of the mistake and refunded the $57 charge. My experience with U-Haul was great other than that, and I would look into what happened to make sure you don't do this to another customer.

The explanation of where the truck would be pulled up to wasn't completely clear and I was a little confused when I was in the lot wondering if any of the trucks coming and going were mine. I also wasn't told what to expect when I returned the truck, although that ended up being pretty easy.

There were brand new clothes shoes jewelry my son pack and play brand new never been worn or opened & legal documents stolen from my unit! rats ate through a lot of me and my kids clothes food and furniture there was rat poop on all over everything I had inside. There was never an investigation done for my items that were stolen from my unit. Uhaul was not willing to renegotiate another date for me to pay on my unit after I cleared my balance owed. I was over charged $15 late fees then $30 then $50 almost every month. Uhaul charged me almost $1700 for a 20ft truck going one way from Texas to Georgia they automatically charge you for 5days and they don’t give you any money back if you bring the truck back without driving all the miles or using all the days! Uhaul will never get my service again especially not for storage very unprofessional unsanitary and distasteful to when it comes to helping customers when someone has stolen from their unit they got cameras and wouldn’t even investigate to see what kind of car/person stole from my unit. I pray this doesn’t happen to anyone else God bless y’all greedy company customers do not come first here!..I feel totally ripped off and to have my property stolen from me without so much as tag number or brief identification on a suspect really bothers me but God sit high and see low NEVER AGAIN!

The entire team and staff are wonderful! Justin does an amazing job… I've experienced work with Hunter. Nothing but great words about your team. That being said, I was disappointed that the usb charger was broken in the truck. However, the staff fixed the issue by lending me a cigarette lighter charger with a usb port. I got in and got out of the store fast! That is my threshold, so great job! I wish I could have set up my toll pass easily so I don't have to do more work later on. Thank you!

The 5x8 trailer was clean and worked fine but one of the fasteners for the tailgate could not be put all the way through because the eyes didn't line up. I think I've either rented this same trailer before or UHaul has more than one trailer with this problem. Everything else was fine but that one issue stuck out at me for this survey. Get it fixed so I don't have anything to complain about. :)

where to begin/ the employee outside with the gas powered blower aiming the dirt towards people as they walk into the location? the route between boxes to get to the counter but you can't see the employees behind the counter because there are so many supplies stacked in front of them / the multiple conversations going on between employees and you aren't sure if they are speaking to you/ the rental process doesn't explain any of the time frames for rentals or the number of miles allowed / the trucks have to be the worse conditioned equipment on the road - not sure how they are legal. The truck didn't drop into reverse, only goes to neutral and then you have to wiggle it up into reverse. the best, the absolute best was the fuel being at 1/6 - that's right, below a quarter and truly should just be listed as empty - ever try to put gas into a vehicle and gauge it for the mileage you might need? I think i just gave Uhaul over $50 in free gas and they charged me an extra $2.70 for the 2 miles i drove over the arbitrary limit of miles. the long hairs sitting on the passenger seat was a special touch. The used tape in the back of the box, the moving blanket shreds - but don't worry, i cleaned the truck so i wasn't charged for the mess they gave me.

I was charged for a trailer I returned months ago, I tried to call but they had me on hold for longer than 10 mins. Also no one called to even validate if I had the trailer however it was returned 28 Jan but proceeded to charge my card 16 Feb for having something I did not have. I turned in and paid for in Jan! Highly disappointed if I did not see the charge pop up on my phone, I would be paying for something I didn't have. It's posted as a fraudulent charge, due to I did not authorize the charge and no representative called to discuss the issue.

One concern, the one of the front tires showed low tire pressure right when I started the van up. If I were traveling a long distance I would have had to take care of that prior to travel. That seems like a basic checklist item to have done. The team at the front desk at this location was very kind and attentive to customers, one worker taking two reservationists at the same time across two computers.

Over the course of the month after I dropped off my trailer, I was called and emailed multiple times about my trailer “not being turned in”. I was then charged a two day late fee when I turned it in on time. After many headaches of contacting you all, I was told that the trailer was stolen off of the property after I dropped it off. This is totally ridiculous and the process of me being contacted so much after this is not the way the company should be ran. It didn't seem like there was a process in place for stolen trailers or the process was just simply not done correctly. Now I wait for my refund on the late charge I should have never been charged.

The constant rate increases was not fair. There wasn't sufficient notice given nor in my opinion were the increases justified. Also there were a few times when my access card was not working properly. Luckily I only stopped by during business hours. The exit gate is damaged and not working upon my last visit. When a storage parking spot costs $155 per month the gate should always work.

Justin and his team are awesome. Jackie coordinated everything to a perfection. I was a bit nervous about this move, since we were moving on the day of Thanksgiving and it was expected to rain. But Jackie helped us manage everything so well that despite the rains, no one got wet and none of my stuff got wet either. Kudos to this team.

Extermination is well over due, all my BOXES OF things were infested with water-bugs (roaches). Which, I did not appreciate bringing them into my home. Besides that, I was charge excessive fees that were not mine nor my fault. Which, had to be corrected by the GM of your prosper location. If I had to refer a friend or someone it would be to prosper,tx location, where I received the best care and service.

The storage units my wife and I reserved for the 27th of the month were not prepared and cleaned for use however my wife continued to receive phone calls repeatedly requesting payment for the units even though they were unoccupied. After speaking with 2 different representatives, an assistant manager and the manager by phone and in person, they attempted to correct the problems but were unable to, so we decided that we should not go forward and rent the units because of the repeated delays and difficulties and the additional costs of time and money. Unfortunate for all concerned parties including U-Haul. This survey requires us to rate the facility and the personnel even though we didn’t occupy the units so I was required to do this rating and answer the questions regardless of the response.

Maybe there was construction nearby or something but our storage unit had a very thick layer of dust on everything. it was difficult to clean the dust off there was so much of it. Also, the price is prohibitive so we emptied our storage unit.

I think it has changed ownership in recent past and it has been a little better. But the previous owner/manager was a total Asswhole. The only complaints I have for the last Several months is that there was always trash around, on the weekends there was always a very long wait because they only had 2 people working behind the desk. Last thing, when I checked out for the final time, I told the guy I had one more thing to come get the next morning. When I got there, it had already been cleaned output, locked up and my belongings were gone!

The facility disregarded my contract on the unit I rented by giving it out to someone else. I was told because I hadn’t moved in yet it was declared vacant. Never mind my contract and payment I had on auto pay. Luckily for you the facility had an open unit they put me in. This is the only thing that prevented me filing a lawsuit for breaching the contract and damages of the difference between the contracted price and whatever the higher price would be at another facility. Absolute worst business experience in the past five years.

Worst experience of any I have ever had with a storage facility. Roach infestation, water damage to my contents. They never did anything they said they would. They called for payment after I was completely moved out. Never any qualified staff on sight. . Absolutely horrible experience. They have been telling me that their insurance company would be calling me about the damages. Never happened.
