The truck I was given was the wrong truck. I got a call half hour after pickup and was asked to return the truck and bring it back. Then pick up the one that was set a side for me. This put me over an hour behind on my move. On top of that I was charged total of 350$ for 6 hours of use. I put on about 110km. I have used uhaul for many years and never had a bad experience. But this experience didn't feel right and feel like I got ripped off.Marek S.

Staff was courteous and knowledgable, my experience with U-Haul was a good one. The young lady that hooked up my trailer at the pick up location answered all my questions knew what she was doing and went over everything with me. She then asked if I had any other questions and if I was comfortable and satisfied going forward. I found this very refreshing that the staff was well trained and knowledgable is rare these days. 5 stars âï¸ to u-haul staff, thank-you.NICHOLAS G.

Charged me for damage that did not occur. Charge has bent reversed then charged my credit card $87. With no explanation to mr why this charge. Need to communicate to customer. Vehicle was full of gas and your automatic check out did not work. Please advise of the extra chargeALFRED F.

All were incredible, friendly and professional and understanding of life and Murphy's law - when it can go wrong - it probably will . We said afterwards how impressed we were with you guys. We booked our truck 3 weeks in advance and got a call the day before that they didn't have a truck for us. We drove 45 minutes out of the way to pick up our truck drove back to our location where our people helping us move were waiting to find out the truck box was locked. I waited on hold for 10 minutes before I could speak to someone about what to do then had to wait an hour to get someone out to unlock the truck, delayed our day by about 2 hours.Daulton H.
Equipment was clean, but the van broke down and would not start. It was the worst inconvenience and the associate wasn't able to help the way I wish she could have. There is no concierge service so I was to be stranded until a (third-party) service company picked up the vehicle. Instead, I walked to the old house and got friends to help finish the move. The associate said she was willing to pick me up personally but that is inappropriate as gracious as the offer is. To make things right, they only charged for what we used and refunded additionally. The unfortunate breakdown is very rare and I would use them again.CHRISTOPHER V.

Do not use U Haul's self check in program...it is a hassle and costs time. The idea is simple, you enter the information upon booking. Upon arriving you check in...the same info is entered, along with photographs you have to take on the spot. After entering all the information and photographs correctly, I still had to go in to the office to do all the papaerwork at the counter.Paul M.
Both the staff members I dealt with were excellent. Honestly, best truck rental experience I have had. I guess hire more ladies like those two!!! The UHaul fleet is much better than it has been in the past too. Last few rentals have been good vehicles. Clean and well maintained.BRADLEYROBERT K.

I returned the dolly after hours, as discussed with the very professional and helpful clerk at the Store. The issue is, that I did the online check in Sunday evening and then I was billed an extra $22.60 on Monday (presumably the fee for not doing so). I assume that this was a â€œfast oneâ€ on the part of Uhaul corporate, most people likely don't even notice this happening on their credit cards. So to summarize, please refund the money because the rest of my interactions with your company where excellent lately (I have rented 4 trailers in the last month alone)â€¦.. the clerk at this location was top notch as well, very professional and helpful so don't penalize him for this review. This was probably one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever dealt with in my entire life. I've never ever spoke to a general manager as well as employee in the condescending and rude manor they did over the telephone and in person. Wednesday evening after my move I called 2 uhaul locations that remained open in London as the pick up location was closed at this time, both location said yes that is no problem you can drop it off at our store no problem. So I drove to drop off my truck at one of the locations that remained open. The next day at 12oclock 55 minutes before my time is expired I get a call from the general manager at York who does not only start instantly criticizing me and telling me she doesn't care what the other uhaul employee told me that it's my problem and that if I don't get back to her location in the next 55 minutes she's double charging me. I explain to her that I think it's very unfair that I was given misinformation from a uhaul employee (2 actually) and that now I'm held responsible for picking it up again and bringing it to her location. I simply asked if she could disregard the extra miles for his mistake. She couldn't have had worse customer service, blaming the entire situation on me and condescending me as I was stupid for bringing it to that location. I really hope a higher up reads this and contacts me so I could give them the time and day of when this conversation took place and how she treated me from the beginning. As a PAYING customer I assumed I would receive some degree of respect and courtesy on a mistake made by a fellow uhaul employee. Myself and my family of 9 siblings have long used uhaul for all our moves but I promise this will be the last time myself and any family members use uhaul. Thank you, DylanDylan C.
