I was simply over charged for fuel close to $40 when I drove only 4 miles over all trip and when I went back fir enquiry the representative simply said it's in contract to fill up the gas, however when the truck was returned not much of difference in fuel indicator when the truck was rented.Sachin B.

Equipment and location I would recommend to anybody. But the service that day was horrible. I came at 9:00 and the guy who was outside he said we are not opened yet. Next when I did an inspection of equipment and I couldn't download pictures on my phone to your side he didn't want to help me to see what's wrong because I don't want to be charged at all for damage what was before and I didn't do that and I have very unpleasant pushing him to make pictures on his phone that I wouldn't be charged.NIJOLE K.

The truck I rented was in need of repair. The shift was locking up. The ABS light came a few times. Extremely rough ride. Loud banging noise on drivers side door. This truck had 196,000 miles on it.and probably needs to replaced.John G.

I was called, if I can pick up trailer earlier, because I was told they busy, I did, but I told that I will not be able to return trailer as early( that was the reason why I wanted to pick it up 7:45instead 6:30pm). I was assured, that this is no problem and I will not be charged extra, but You charged me extra one more day. This is not nice from You U-Haul . You lied to me. Online return app did not work on 3 different (Android) phones. Had to wait on hold almost 30 minutes to get a response. That person then confirmed that the app wouldn't work on the 3 phones and performed a manual procedure to get us finally checked out. The location I have nothing but nice things to say about the gentlemen that work there but the scheduling department that is in Blue Island is the worse I have ever encountered. If you have recorded calls, you need to hear how your scheduler rep talked to me. Hung up on me and cancelled my reservation on the day of my out of the state move. Thankfully I called the guys in Arlington Heights on Tollview and they eventually fixed it and I was able to move my things. That rep gave me an overall bad experience and I hope she gets fired. Customers should never have to go through what I went through with that individual. She gives uhaul a bad name.Tatiana D.

How about having the truck we reserved. We reserved a 20' truck and in the end got stuck with a 15'. My mom was moving out of state and couldnt even take all her stuff bc there was no room. You guys screwed her bad. I will never rent from uhaul again. And I'm not the only one. Plus we had to drive 1hr and 30 mins into Illinois just to get this stupid 15' truck and then drive all the way back with it. The stress of moving is enough to put on someone but then to tell her the day of when she needs to be moved out that she doesn't have her size truck she reserved and on top of all that she had to go to a separate location to pick up her transport trailer for pulling her car behind. Dumb. Worst experience ever. I will gladly go with a moving company or another truck rental company than going with uhaul. I don't even know how she'll get the rest of her belongings that I had to transport to my home to hold onto bc she couldn't take it all with her. If I could give you 0 stars I gladly would. The online pickup option was terrible. No indication of where the truck will be. We examined all the trucks in the main lot and did not find ours. The truck was in a different lot on the other side of the building. This needs to be communicated to the renter. Also, the checkout process and WAITING for the online operator to approve was ridiculous. No indication that anybody was there working on it, and no response to the chat option. Had to go inside to check the truck out, and to get dollies and pads anyway. Absolutely no benefit to the online option. All of that approval process should have been done ahead of time.John L.

I delivered the van the same day it was rented. I gave the key to the woman at the counter. She said, it would be awhile for her to get it checked in and give me a receipt. I left with the assumption she would email a receipt. I received a phone call the next day asking if I would return the van. I told him it was returned last night. I have nothing but good things to say about your location! The keycard check-in and entry, climate control, the alarmed storage cubicle doors, the indoor loading bay... I wish you had been open here when I first had to store my crap. Uhaul Moving and Storage of Woodfield is great! The location is really convenient to a multitude of highways. It’s super clean. Very secure. I love their loading and unloading area. You can pull you car or truck right in and get out of the weather. They have plenty of moving carts. The staff has always been very willing to help and answer questions.
