VALERIE VThe location itself is tough for the employees to keep clean and functioning -- it is in the middle of an area in Seattle that has a lot of transient folks around and a lot of garbage on the street / sidewalk / neighboring parking lot that makes the site look bad when you pull in -- HOWEVER I would give the employees working there an A++++++++ for their attentiveness to both customers and to the vehicles and the general location. They were great. The vehicle was great. The experience was great. The poor employees just need more support there in terms of the location, it is tough to keep clean and they are working REALLY hard to do so. UHaul is lucky to have those guys working at this location, they were amazing in balancing everything.

KIMBERLY FThe workers there were kind and respectful. Tim was amazing. There was a delay in pickup of the truck due to delay in others returning the truck. He was able to give us an extra day use (without charge) and a fuel credit for the inconvenience. Additionally gave us a lock too.
BYUNG KI have never seen a more stripped down truck than this one. Also someone needs to adjust the side mirrors so they dont move out of position during the drive. It's very unsafe!

Additionally you changed the drop off location on me to a place 30+ min from my home. That was insane. I will never use your service again. I felt jolted around and disrespected. CONSUELO EWe are always impressed by the staff at this location. We rent trailers periodically. The most recent return was so impressive - three people came out to assist with the return. One person to detach the trailer, another hopped into the trailer to make sure it was clean (yes - we had swept it out), the other to get us checked in and a receipt. They seemed to work very well together and gave off a lot of positive energy.
PATRICK SRented a 6x12 enclosed trailer for a cross country move. Trailer showed substantial wear and tear with damage on nearly every panel. Tires had minimal tread showing the wear bars and one wheel was completely rusted through with pieces falling off as I drove.
John TThey need to allow people to return vans to return locations at their destination .The store insisted that if I take a van I have to return it back to the same location.Due to this I was forced to take something different.

SPENCER JOn June 5, I called to confirm that my U box would be moved from 450 freeway to 5533 Speedway, destiny U-Haul representative said yes. On the evening of the ninth, I called U-Haul to confirm that it was at Speedway and that I need to get it first thing in the morning. Your representative told me it was definitely there. He lied to me.. I had to drive another 15 miles out of my way out to the freeway store to retrieve it. Your employee at the freeway store I think his name was Ty was definitely the bright spot of the whole move.. also was not told that there would be two steel plates with Torx head screws. Six of them screwed onto the door so I could not access my belongings was never told this.. the door already had two latches on it plus my lock. two other plates that L also held the door shut that was totally ridiculous.!
Kevin mFirst if all is weird how there's no option to rate your employees or their customer service. I'm sure you're familiar if their poor performance. Yesterday I went to Uhaul, Ballard location to rent a trailer. While going thru the paperwork and all I was asked for how long do I need a trailer for. Told them just a few hours, i won't need it for longer than 1 day. Then I was told if I want to return the equipment after hours I could do that 1and the associate showed me the location i could drop it off at. That's all he said. Those were his instruction. So I followed those instructions and dropped it off the same , after the office was closed. This morning I'm waking up to a new charge in my account of $20 for dropping off the equipment after hours!!! Apparently there is a procedure you have to follow once you drop it off which was NEVER relayed to me!!!! I called the store this morning, first no one was picking up for a long time, then finally when Nathaniel , the store associate, decided it's time to do at least a little bit of work he finally picked up the phone and was highly unprofessional, rude and unwilling to help. He also sounded very incompetent. The worst experience I've had was at this location, and I've rented a uhaul times and times before.
ALEKSANDRA MFirst of all, this was NOT the location that I had a contract with. Unfortunately, there was no truck there so I was redirected to this location. They forgot to put the blankets on the truck which meant I couldn't wrap the furniture I was picking up. There was less gas in the truck than the contract indicated. Overall a very poor experience.
