Truck had about 120K miles on it, and the suspension was loose and loud. But it was clean and adequate. Online reservation process gets a rating of ZERO/SUCKS. Online app for pick-up and drop-off worked well.John O.
Scheduled a 6:45 pick up, truck was returned by another renter at 6:55pm, location closes at 7 and the employee locked up and left as I was doing online check in but that process didn't give me the lock box code. Long call with customer service ended with lock box code for a smaller truck as the only option.Eric K.

I thought it was wrong to make a previous customer pay such a high price to take a travel trailer to Myrtle Beach and leave it at another site. The price was so high that I was forced to bring the trailer all the way back to Pa with nothing in it which may it a bumpy ride all the way home. The staff was excellent - amiable and knowledgeable. They took the extra time to demonstrate how to hook up the trailer and verified the electrical connections were working correctly before I left the lot. I will make this my preferred U-Haul location for future rental needs!Ed M.

forced to use app to check in or you would charge a "convenience" fee after hours. downloaded app, return truck as instructed. app required location settings on, then after adding several pics of mileage and fuel, the app would not advance. I then had to call customer service to put notes in the system about this disruptive experience. I should receive a "convenience" payment for my inconvenience. If you're going to force people to move to your business practices / processes, make sure it works.Michael V.

I use Uhual for my rentals. This is the second encountered that I had With UHual in Eddystone trying to overcharge me for my rentals. The first encountered was when I brought the rental back and dropped it off and when my receipt came to my email I noticed my card was overcharged. I called the facility and disputed the charges with the guy that did the transaction and I told Him that I took before and after pictures and stated that the miles was incorrect and I had to show him the pictures and he refunded my money. This time I rented the uhual for a couple of hours to help my daughter move. Upon returning the vehicle I stood There and watch the associate inspect the vehicle, miles and gas ( in which I went Over the amount that required for the return of gas) she stated everything was good and I was Actually a mile less than expected. Half hour after I got Home the associate called me and stated that when she was cleaning the van she noticed a hole in the middle & I said Hole in the middle of what? And she stated hole in the middle of the driver and passenger seat. I told Her that there was no hole in the middle of the seats because I was the only driver of the vehicle. I have A witness that will also state that there was no hole in the seats while the vehicle was operated by me. She in returned stated that she's going to speak to her associate that brought the van in & I agreed with her her to speak to her associate. I feel offended If it was a hole in the van seats she would've noticed upon inspection before & after I rented The vehicle in my presence. If I keep running into these inconveniences I will No longer rent or refer uhaul to family and friends.DELLA K.

I was a half hour late due to traffic and the gentleman was very rude that called us. He said the next customer was waiting. Why would you rent out vehicles back to back? You should have an hour in between rentals! When we returned the van, he rudely said you didn't vacuum van so now I have to charge $25! I said no one told me this! He said when you rented it you were told to which I replied, you were the one that rented it me! Then he got in the van and pointed to a very small sign! First of all, the van was dirty to begin with! And, I'm handicapped (disabled) how on earth was I getting into the van to vacuum it??? And what vacuum hose can reach into the van anyway! This is a total scam to get $25 extra from customers! So very wrong! Never again! Customer Service is obviously not important to this location!Megan R.

I did not request additional insurance and it was not included in the original quote. When given my amount I saw that it had been added in without my knowledge or consent. I had to ask that it be removed.tim R.

One the Website the motorcycle trailer is listed as a 4x8. That is too short to trailer my bike. When I visited the dealer I found they are actually 4x9 and that is what is on the trailer. Hopefully UHaul will change their website to reflect this. There are many larger bikes that will not fit on a 4x8. The trailer was great. Ez to load and tow.John S.

When the self serve on line tools fail, the office employees should be able to help a customer without additional charges. I was told the delay was due to someone calling my backup phone number. What! And it would cost me $30 to have the office staff complete my reservation! There want a single other customer in the place when I needed help. Don't do that to customers.Samuel S.
