There was no verification on ID asked for or paperwork given. No contract was signed. Terrible customer service. Put more gas in the truck than needed and want a discount on the mileage as I put in quarter tank of gas more in it. Because I put in 75$ to ensure didn't have to stop to get more gas. Guy said no doesn't work like that. I've used uhaul couple months ago and had a great experience and this time was the complete opposite.Christina G.

Check the doors weekly or monthly. I almost hurt my shoulder and arm, twice, trying to close the rear door. A little grease here and there should help.Isaiah M.
The windshield wipers did not work. The motor was inoperative and the wipers were stuck half way up the window. The oil pressure would drop to zero and sound an alarm every few minutes. The rear tires were so bald that they had zero tread at all. Uhaul should be embarrassed they even rented this truck. I informed the employees at the counter and expect them to pull this out for maintenance.David P.

I ordered a auto transport trailer for 7:00AM the person was15 minutes late and made another customer wait as well. If the sign on the door tells you store opens at 7:00 AM that what should happen. Had a 10 ft box on reserve got to the store and was told that nothing was there for me. An hr on the phone I'm told I can't have a truck for 5 days because of high demand. I'M A PAYING CUSTOMER WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE. absolutely a joke. I was dropped off and was stuck there so I ended up getting a van that was not enough room for what I needed. The truck sounded like it was having transmission problems. The ramp would not roll out and slide back in (one of the rollers underneath was stuck), the dolly I paid for was not in the truck. Customer service was non-existant.COLLEENM W.

I was supposed to pick up a trailer at 1:00 on Tuesday. I called the local customer service number on Monday to confirm that I could pick it up at 1:00 on Tuesday and when I arrived, I was told they didn't have a trailer for me. I had to come back later that day (30 minutes each way from my house) to get it.Randall S.
The truck was the worst I've ever been in. The wheel had to be angled 45 degrees to go straight, and the truck wobbled, the suspension felt like it would collapse at any moment.E P.

One tire had no tread with exposed steel belts. Absolutely crazy i was given that trailer with a bad tire. I would have walked away if i had properly inspected the tires before departure. Custumer service was horrible and the store was messy and unorganized. Someone needs to be fired in my opinion. I will nnever use uhaul again. Nor will my friends and family.Scott F.

I arrived around 0730 and the store wasn't open on time. This happened on 10/16/21. When I arrived there was 6 customers who had been sitting in the rain before me. A women was on the phone speaking to a customer service representative who was interested in helping her however didn't seem interested in helping the other customers who were also looking for help. Three customer then decided to leave and cancel. I then left and and was on my way to another site when I called and spoke with a customer representative. I was told the general manager would be arriving in 5 minutes. I then turned around and went back to the store.Regina B.
I had to visit this location on Sunday because a fraudulent purchase was placed on my credit card. I wasted my entire afternoon getting the problem straightened out. Why the employee charged my credit card an additional amount two weeks after I returned the trailer, I'll never know. But obviously something fishy was going on.Gregory S.

The store and the yard are a mess. Trash everywhere in and out of the store. Ewww. Also, you texting system needs to be fixed. Don't call me (unknown number, didn't answer) and then text me a minute later to tell me you are going to call. The text message I received when we drove away with the trailer to confirm our equipment arrived after we drove away, was not the trailer I rented, and timed out before I had time to approve/not approve anything. I had reserved an appliance dolly with my truck reservation and it was not available when I arrived (on time) to pick up the truck. The person working said he had just given the dolly to someone else. What exactly is the point of reserving equipment ahead of time if it won't be available. We had to move a refrigerator with the regular dolly which was very challenging. I wasted 45 minutes on the phone trying to find a dolly at another location to no avail. There was no gas cap on the truck (it was open) Totally unprofessional and unacceptable I expect u-haul to compensate me for my wasted time I have already filed a complaint and will rent from Penske next time.michael E.

I reserved a dozen moving pads with my vehicle rental, but when I picked up the vehicle I was told that no moving pads were available. They had all been rented out that morning. I made my reservation a week in advance. I gave plenty of notice that I needed pads. Some should have been put aside for a reservation and not given out to other people. By the way, I picked my rental up at 10am. No other customer for the whole day had pads that they could use.MICHAELD S.

Something was wrong with the rental I had, it took several attempts to get the truck to turn over which resulted in wasting time also, I believe something was wrong with the gas needle, I moved within the same complex, not understanding why the rental would have needed gas?Carla A.
It is not easy to fill up the tank to an amount other than a full tank. I accidentally overfilled it beyond the required 3/4 of the tank. It really sucks that I cannot get a reimbursement for that. I feel that it is a cunning strategy that you use! I am not happy with that at all.ROSHANLALINTHA P.

I rented a motorcycle trailer even though I own a larger trailer that isn't specifically for motorcycles because the lift gate is only 4' long and quite steep and does not have a wheel chock. Well, much to my disappointment after trying unsucessfully to load a motorcycle onto the rented Uhaul "motorcycle" trailer I found that the lift gate was short and steep even though the trailer is much lower and the bike undercarriage got hung up with only the front wheel on the trailer. I had to find two other strong willing men to lift the rear of the 650 pound motorcycle up high enough so I could get the bike loaded and moved to a new location. Sad to say that I probably would not rent a motorcycle trailer again from Uhaul unless the ramps are lengthened or they supply a drive up style ramp so that there is adequate clearance at the top of the incline.Daniel B.
I did not get what I reserved. Although I got a bigger trailer for the price of the smaller one, it was no bargain. It was heavier so it was harder to pull( more gas spent). It blocked my view and our stuff was sliding all over the place so longer to pack n tie everything. This was a last minute change. Not appreciated.ROBERT C.

Wait to check in was over 40 minutes due to lack of staff -- one person was handling it all and did a great job but there were at least 8 maybe 10 in line at 9AM. Lack of staff is affecting many businesses in Henrietta NY. Have no complaints about the one person working; as I said he did a great job.Howie D.

I reserved a 26' truck online, was contacted by UHaul to direct me to this location for pick up and when I arrived, was told no truck was available at all. They finally gave me a 15' truck (with a 'check engine light on) which required two trips for the move instead of one. I was told by the rude attendant, "this happens all the time".
