The staff was very professional and nice. The equipment on the other hand was not the greatest. I kept having to pull over because it smelled like something was on fire. also, while I was driving, the vehicle was jerking a bit very scary feeling I felt so uncomfortable the entire time driving the vehicle.
James TI think Supy the Manager needs to get a personality ... She's totally UNFRIENDLY with a borderline nasty attitude. But I guess since she's "management" she thinks she can behave in a nasty way. Seriously she's awful.
DAVID LWe did not like the digital check in to rent. We would much rather work with a customer associate than the website/app when picking up the Uhaul and equipment.

PEGGY SI arrived to pick up my rental and I was annoyed that I had to check myself in. It was incredibly stressful day to begin with but in addition I had to use my own phone to scan a QR code and check myself in.

TIFFANY RI drove 30 miles. I put $10 worth of gas in it 2 1/2 gallons. When I turned the van in it was busy. The woman took the keys and asked me if I put gas in it. I said yes I had a receipt. Later, I got the bill and got charged $30 for gas surcharge and $14 for 2 gallons of gas. Makes no sense at all. Complete scam.

EMILY BManager was super helpful! I lost my physical drivers license, but got a temporary replacement from the DMV while my replacement card is being mailed. Sadly, when asked to upload a photo of your drivers license, the temporary one wasn’t being accepted by the system that apparently auto-scans. (Temporary licenses look completely different.) We talked to U-Haul customer service, and spoke with an extremely foolish person who refused to accept a temporary license, which makes literally no sense. If a temporary replacement license from the DMV is good enough for the police, it’s good enough for U-Haul. Fortunately, the manager has a brain in her head and was able to overwrite that and put into the system that I provided a valid drivers license. It made my move very simple. It took a little extra time, but whatever. All around good! A nice bonus, though, would be to have more people taking in customers.

kevin LThe location and staff were great. However the "self check in" is a bit ridiculous as you still need a staff person to acess the van and the keys. I would almost prefer to have a real self check in option or just have staff be able to do it without having to use the phone. Also the van had no gas when I picked it up and had to immediately get gas which was a bit frustrating.
Julianne BThey drew up a fraudulent contract from the onset would not change it so I got put in the system that I rented a trunk for one day they knew I needed to move. They knew I needed it for five days yet they put into the system that I needed it for one day so after one day, I would be charged late fees every fucking dayI believe corporate knows about these mouths going on at the Hollywood U-Haul and they don’t care because nobody ever does anything about it. They are too tired and exhausted or poor to fight. I’m going to take U-Haul and U-Haul Hollywood to Court. I’m going to gather as many people as I can who got fucked over by this talkie talkie happy talk lady who suddenly becomes more Asian the more problems you have with her I’m going to make sure that she is fired and anyone else supports Her deliberately ripping people off fired as well and I want an apology note from U-Haul plus compensation for the damage they did to my property . How wants a trusted reliable company has turned to becoming nomads to having a fight or flight approach to business is beyond me. I’ll see you soon.

Eleonora ACompletely ridiculous that they changed my in person pickup reservation to online, and forced me to use that process. I wasted 30 minutes of my time trying to get my phone to handle all the requests properly. I’ve rented from U-Haul over 10 times and have never had an experience like this. JOSE OWell at first we had a reservation for a u-haul at fletcher but when we got there we were unable to get our truck because The lady said they didn’t set up self service and forgot to set them up last night. It caused me to be backed up and the first representative hung up on me, The second lady helped me find another one but all the way at hollywood. She finally helped us but still caused us to be backed up and all over the place. Very unprofessional and a waste of time, why even have the option if you aren’t gonna follow procedure

Tim CThe employee working refused to help check in for pick up. He said it had to be done through the app. He said uhaul corporate would be upset if he assisted someone check in. When the mobile check in process had errors he tried to lie further and say that the error happening was normal and I had to keep going through the process. Tried again. Same error. He kept insisting that uhaul would be mad at him if he assisted someone. The only reason I knew he was lying is because I've done the check in process so many times. It is repulsive behavior to lie to customers for what I assume is some sort of goal that uhual has for percentage of customers using the mobile check in process. Just help the customers. My thoughts are that a customer canceling a reservation is a worse outcome compared to the employee simply helping a customer. I won't be back to this location. I will look for other truck rentals as my first option going forward because of this experience.

It was 7:45am on a Saturday, I'm 40 years old, and I need you have an emergency contact answer the phone in order to rent a van? Stupid.

The representative did not have the patience to speak slowly and transferred the call to another agent who spoke Spanish. However, we do not speak Spanish — we speak Portuguese. Because of this, we had to restart the process. This happened twice, until the in-person employee completed it for us.
Joel Ai tried dropping the truck off last night and the entrances were blocked by uhauls. i called and they were no help saying that i had to key the car until the morning when my actual car was now about to get towed due to no overnight parking. i had to figure out where to park the u-haul and then take my car home and then drive back to return the u-haul. when i finally came to drop off at location, i filled out the steps online and dropped off the key. then some worker came out yelling saying i parked it in the wrong spot and that i made him do more work. this place is a fucking mess. i came before like a month ago and one of the workers looked like he was on drugs. never using this lotion again and probably won’t use u-haul company unless i actually need to
CHRISTIAN CInterior cab was extremely dirty. Dash and interior windshield was covered in dried liquid, trash behind seats. Vehicle had 35 mi range when picked up. Staff was overwhelmed with other renters and location should review staffing levels. Have rented from location previously and always seems to be very busy with not enough staff to handle the volume.

But the location wasn't open at 8am, it opened at 9am.Why was I then able to make a reservation for a specific time if that time was never an option for pickup? The representative on the phone was rude and condescending and offered no help, no discounts, no support. Will definitely NOT be using Uhaul again and will stick to a more trustworthy, mom-and-pop business.

John MThe representative John was very friendly and his customer service skills are excellent. He went above and beyond helping me get my rental as quickly as possible. He genuinely cares about the customer and their time. Unfortunately the lady named Supatra who according to her name tag is the “owner” is the worst. She was very condescending and rude to both employees and customer walking in. She was dismissive of customers needs and has no customer service skills. It looks like she hates her job. John is the best and shout out to Rene as well for being kind and professional. I will not be coming back to this business and will rather travel to another U-Haul
PEDRO TYour online check in process takes forever and is horrible. It has so many redundant steps and is poorly designed. It has turned me from renting with Uhaul again in the near future.

Jerry CI booked a location near me then an agent said I have to go to another location because they don't have the size truck I booked. I go to the other location and they said my truck was stolen so then all of the sudden they have the size truck I want in the original location I booked. Lost about 1.5-2 hrs of moving. I go to the original location and I booked some moving supplies and the guy said there weren't any and he was very rude. Overall an absolutely horrible experience with u-haul.

At one point the power in the building shut off 2) the website would not allow my android to upload photos 3) the app refreshed and reset my inputs when I tried to change the amount of time I needed. 4) all supplies are autoselected, terrible business practice. Sleepy. 5) the van had tire pressure monitor issues and a check engine light on. 6) from arrival to leaving the lot it took me 45min. 7) there were not enough staff for a Saturday before the end of the month.

Seth TGive the correct info. before you even live the facility! Also to check correctly the amount of gas that the truck is returning with. Because I procede to replenish the gas and even put a little bit extra yet I got charged $11.00 extra of gas for 2 more gallons! Besides wanting me to pay extra $20.00 dollars because they didn't give me the right information to begin with! I am very display and disappointed of this company because is not the first time they failed me! I just used it a month and a half ago and it was okay but the time before that a year and a half ago the cause me so much problems because again no giving the right information and have all my stuff in the truck have to go back where I came from just because they didn't have the storage they promise me although I have been a loyal customer of U-haul for many years! I believe next time I should go to a different company!
