STEVENL G.Truck was very dirty, could barely see out the windows, there was something sticky all over the seats and floor. Truck shakes violently. Bad tires, or tie rod or something. Was definitely NOT good experience. Definitely will not be using a truck from that location again. Maintain your trucks, clean them, and it would have been way better.
David L.Truck not cleaned from previous renter. Cab had been smoked in. Windshield driver view had 3 small chips in it. No blankets placed in truck as ordered . Had to get myself after asking. Pickup location was changed by uhaul. Very inconvenient. Made 4 calls before I spoke to real agent. Requested extra mileage for inconvenience which was granted.
Cathleen K.The counter guy was pretty gruff. Basically telling us he would “hang up on “ our insurance guy if we had a claim. Yet he took the insurance card info 🤷â€â™€ï¸ Seems like a rudely hard sell of the $10 insurance. That left a bad taste fir this location. The van was, however there & ready. And the gentleman who checked the van back in was very polite & helpful.

Shane S.Y'all need to hire more people to work at the Ithaca location at the end of July beginning of August. Most leases are Aug 1 to July 31. Poor guy at the desk at 8am had a line of 6 folks. Yes, there's the mobile app. I'm not planning on moving again, but this is a college town and July/August is always going to be a mess Evan
Evan W.This location was clearly understaffed. It was only 1 staff member working a busy Saturday. The one staff was super friendly and did the best he could but there was still a pretty long line and wait. I was not able to leave the parking lot until 1.5 hours later past my pick-up time due to multiple issues and questions that I wanted addressed first. Most of the equipment (appliance dolly and utility dolly) I requested to rent was not available so that did not help. The 20' truck I had to use was in TERRIBLE condition but I had no choice as there were no other availabilities. The lift gate was broken so it was near impossible to open and close completely. The brakes had issues so it did not feel completely save to drive. The steering also did not feel smooth at all. It was clear that the truck was not properly maintained and it was a frustrating experience. U-Haul needs to do something about better maintenance of their trucks and letting customers know ahead of time if rental equipment is not available.
Kenneth M.Overall, a terrible experience, and the worst service and treatment I ever received. First, you didn't have the truck I reserved. You gave me a smaller truck and only two hours to use it. Second, you read the fuel tank incorrectly and charged me for gas I didn't use. Your customer service is lousy. Well done, Uhaul.

Douglas G.Bad pick-up experience. Wrong pick-up location was sent to me through text message. I got to the wrong location, called the customer service and was told that I was not in the system, however I had already checked-in online and paid a day before. Made several phone calls and paid for another Uber ride to get to the correct location.
