The trailer was dirty and smelled of oil when I picked it up. When I got to my destination I discovered that the trailer had leaked in numerous places and most of my belongings were wet. I tried calling twice today only to sit on hold for over 20 minutes each time. I'd like someone to call me and expect that there will be a significant credit offered based on my experience.Kyle T.

Everyone was super friendly and helpful. They also recommended a tie down net that the attendant at the transfer station really appreciated saying that so many people renting trucks fail to tie down their loads properly.Shawn S.

Too much to write so I'll keep it short. Super long hold times to speak with customer service, so you need to hire some more customer service agents badly. The â€œreservationâ€ system for the â€œfree first month of storageâ€ is garbage. It is a complete misnomer because it implies that the customer is granted storage but you fail to mention (or maybe it is clearly hidden in the fine print that nobody reads) that it is COMPLETELY based on availability. We â€œreservedâ€ a unit in Bozeman, where we were moving to, but there was no availability, so the â€œreservationâ€ was completely pointless and we had to scramble to find a space, which was not ideal. Overall I would not recommend U-Haul.Benjamin E.

The gentleman who helped me both check out and back in the next day was exceptional. Very polite, professional, careful and friendly. He was also running his tail off taking care of multiple customers at the same time. He is an asset to your team!Michael C.
Very disappointed. They charged us for 150 miles of usage. Which is double what we expected. We calculated what we had done...at only 75 miles. At almost $2.00 a mile that was an additional $150 dollars. We have had great experience with U-haul in the past...but this was the first time we used the Kenmore location. Probably not going to use them again if they are double charging. We also had wanted a trailer and site said it was available only to find out it was not and thus we had to rent a truck. The staff at the Kenmore location was helpful and the U-Haul truck was fairly new, which was great. That said, I had several issues with U-Haul's reservation department. I had to spend hours on the phone, many of the agents did not give me accurate information, and it was a nightmare to manage. It makes me question if I should ever use U-Haul again. I have now used U-Haul 3 times, including two cross country trips, and this was a horrible experience with the reservation department that cost me time and money. I was told I would receive a partial refund, but naturally nothing has happened. Very disappointing.Phillip P.

N the dude at 1-800 that was the help I needed 5stars there! #1 open up your web to book longer than 24 hrs... Wasted valuable move time sitting on hold to extend, 4 times two different days just to add few hours I knew I needed over 24 to begin with, bad. #2 every time I go rules changed No debit card-use to work fine. Bank card must match dl (no ID for bank card) my kid want to pay I drove - why? He can't drive, I can, last summer moved him, his bank card his ID, I drive his stuff... Then charged before I brought it back, how do you know mileage, gas, etc fix these then we shall talk again maybe... Rented U-Haul 5 times last 8 years this was ONLY BAD experience.Rebekah W.

Allow parking for ride share, since a person cannot drive both their car and the truck at the same time. I had to walk a couple of blocks to find parking. Lower your price per mile. 188.00 for 4 hours use to pick up my stuff in storage was too expensive.ETHEL H.

The delivery site personnel were great. I was a bit disappointed that u-haul made me drive last a few other u-haul sites to drop off the trailer at this site. They knew the address where we moved but still had me drive a half hour, and past a few other u-haul storesChristopher M.

This location was great! However, I am not happy with my reservation process overall. I booked equipment online and was called by U-Haul to let me know that that location does not have the equipment and they changed my reservation to another location farther away. Apparently they didn't notice that the new location WAS NOT OPEN for a morning reservation which left me standing in front of a closed store with no way to get the equipment. I had to call U-Haul and get sent to a third location (Kenmore) to get the actual equipment. This put me 3x farther away from my original pick up place and made me use 3x more mileage (at $0.99/mile) to get the equipment and return the equipment.Brian B.
