Make sure that your trucks don't have mechanical issues. That includes the engine and suspension. Figure you guys have no time sometimes between rentals to check everything, but a daily once-over on your equipment wouldn't be too much to ask for. Too scared of the downtime this may cause for your business if a truck needs maintenance? You're basically pushing that onto the customer, too, if it breaks on them. Now, I'm no mechanic, but I know an engine knock when I hear one, and I know bad suspensions when I drive. It was hard to keep my unloaded (or loaded) 10ft truck straight at 60mph because it had bad suspensions. Totally unsafe, but I managed. If I were someone else, it could have ended badly. Not a great experience.
Kyle RAlways seems to be clean. We came in last minute without a res and they were able to fit me in for the 2 hrs I needed the van. Friendly staff too.
TIMOTHY DJust rent the trailer without bringing told “I’m not renting you a trailer today, if you don’t like it call my District manager. Making the call and being allowed to rent the trailer but now 45 minutes later than when I first arrived. Then while being processed being asked to wait and listening to the employee take a piss because he couldn’t be bothered to close the door.

nuhuse aTruck was not ready when reserved for Mobil pickup. Was an hour late getting truck and it had only a bit over a quarter tank of gas. We had to drive 90 miles to catch a ferry boat that we were an hour late getting away for with NO time to stop for gas. This was a needlessly stressful drive wondering if we would run out of gas or miss the ferry.

Michael EThey were so helpful. I rented a 10 foot uhaul, but then learned at pick up that that size didn't have a ramp, which was needed for us. They had enough inventory to change to a 15 foot uhaul with a ramp at very little extra cost, which eliminated a lot of stress.
Nicole HThe location and staff are nice. The network system used by U-Haul, not so much. I booked my equipment to a specific location based on the proximity to home. Two days before pick-up, I was informed that this location did not have the equipment that I needed and therefore dispatched me 10 miles away. In and of itself that was an inconvenience, but the fact that the traffic to the location was absolutely horrendous, made it overall a 3-star experience.

PETER LI rented a 15' van for six hours. The fuel gauge read full when I picked it up. I drove a total of seventeen miles(17). I filled it up with gas before returning it. It took 9 gallons of fuel(over $44), before the pump stopped. When I turned the van in, I told the employee about it and was not given any answer or reimbursement for the amount of money I spent on gas. He told me the vans don't get great mileage. There is no way the vans get less than two(2) miles to the gallon.
ROGER MEncountered three different employees and all three were friendly, helpful and patient. I appreciated that they confirmed the trailer connection was good before giving us the go ahead to leave. I will be back the next time there is a need.
Holly DYour people there are friendly and helpful. Your phone system trying to dial them sucked. It was quicker for me to take the 20 minute drive than the time I was on hold.

PAUL MThe staff at this location was very helpful even with how busy they were right at opening. They did not act exasperated at all and handled the issues caused by the online check-in as well as possible. The phone check in was an unpleasant experience that many folks at this location had to deal with as the location opened. However, the experience with those I talked to saved my mood and experience this morning. Good job Kenmore for picking up the slack of the online service that is CLEARLY out of your control.

ROBERT AAfter hours drop-off of the large 6x12 trailer is very problematic if the "lifting aparatus" to help lift the trailer from the hitch is nowhere to be found. I was unable to remove it myself and am lucky that someone else was returning a van after hours and was able to help me remove the trailer from my hitch. The smaller trailers are easy, but the 6x12 trailer is just too heavy. The UHaul representative needed to use it to get it onto my trailer hitch earlier in the day at pickup. But after hours returns are left to the customer with no way to prevent injury trying to handle this on my own.
BRIAN MThe 2 personnel that helped me out patiently. The 1st guy was courteous and patient when the truck side mirrors were not adjustable without the tools and the driver's seat back rest was missing the lever to adjust it. He made sure he got both fixed so I can drive safely. The manager helped me out when the truck would not start and eventually realized I was doing something wrong, he did not get upset but even made sure I got everything good before going away.

CAIO MThis location came to the rescue when the original location had the van we requested but the prior rentor hauled garbage and left it filthy and smelly. Appreciate that U-haul called me shortly after I arrived at the original location to let me know the situation and that they had the same van at another location just a mile or two away.
