I reserved a pick up truck, and had to accept a 10' box truck. The staff was unable to find the keys to the pick up. However the gentlemen at the counter, said he could offer me the van or the box truck for same price. Which was very nice. I needed to pick up a twin size hospital bed so I really didnt need a box truck, but because I was unsure of whether the bed would fit in Cargo Van, I accepted the box truck. The staff explained to Mike the Manager about the pick up truck missing keys, and told them their plans of letting me rent the box truck. He agreed, and was very pleasant about the situation. The box tuck unfortunately did not have a ramp, or it was missing from this particular truck, which caused a little bit of issue, as I am handicap when it comes to my knees, and it was difficult to get into the back without the ramp. I have used Uhaul numerous times, and was pleased of how the truck ran, it was quite bumpy, but overall ran good and stopped without any issues. I was not impressed with the mileage situation. $.69 cents a mile was ridiculous. No discounts, on miliage, and unfortunately I was not used to driving a truck that big, I couldnt move over to the next lane, and I missed my exit, ended up going further out of my way and adding more miles. Initially it should have been a total of 88 miles, it ended up being 127 miles as I had to get gas before returning truck and missed exits. There should be a set price of the amount of mile driven for in town rent , example 100 miles for a discounted price. Another moving company has discounts for the very same issue. The UHAUL staff did not have any ink in their printer, therefore contract was emailed to me. I think that the coporate company should provide everything an employee needs to run a business. This unfortunately was not the case. I will go back, but hopefully this review will be sent to corporate, and they will provide the essentials of running a business to the Uhaul staff, and replace ramps, keys, and ink when they need it, as it could reflect a BAD review from a customer.

Truck was clean and ran well despite being a little bit older and close to 200k miles. Staff was polite, friendly and attentive. (when we were there the one clerk was helping two people simultaneously on both registers when they could have just as easily made us wait while they sat behind the solo unit)

Nothing, but I spent around $70 for 1 hour and 9 miles of use. Would be nice if there was a cheaper option. I know $20 is cheap, but with the $28 insurance and the $0.79/mile fee for not having a major credit card (which is actually financially more responsible!), it all came out to a lot of money for hardly any use. I only had to move 2 couches about 1 mile from my house. So that was unfortunate. The service we received was perfect, though.

Picking up was a great experience. Dropping off was not. The female in the office was pleasant but the gentleman outside receiving the truck was rude, had a horrible attitude, We had to go get fuel to get it back exactly to the line he wanted but when we pulled out, we discovered he had left the back open. We didn’t know if he had taken the dolly out. Luckily someone that was helping us move saw us at the light and stopped us to close the back. Coming back from moving all day is already not where most people want to be but then having someone talk to you so rudely as well as giving a scare like that means that I won’t use this uhaul facility again...ever.

Bathroom was dirty and OOO one visit. I actually plunged the toilet once, gross. Other issue is was promised a $5 charge for box storage and was then charged $80. Need to follow your word.
