Truck was not ready windshield was covered in ice and snow. No kind of snow removal tool was available. Worker used broom handle to break up ice on windshield. Wipers did not work were riped had to be replaced. As the renter i had to discover this and insist it be done.

The online reservation system is really messy. The availability of equipment should be linked with each location. Also, the confirmation email sent to me gave the wrong location to call. Things got very confusing for both me and the locations.

When I initially booked the truck (the day before needing it) I received a voicemail a few hours later saying they had no trucks available for that time and had to move by booking to the afternoon. I frantically called customer service and they assured me I could get the truck in the morning as long as I had it back by 1pm. So they moved the booking back to 8am. About an hour later I receive another voicemail from the store saying there are no trucks available for 8am and they were again moving the booking to 2:30pm. I call customer service again who again moves it back to 8am and assured me I'm all set that I can pick the truck up for 8am. I go to Uhaul for 8am and surprisingly they did have a truck for me. So I'm unsure what all the confusion was but I am glad I was able to get the truck when needed.

I was double charged I was renting for 1 day yet I was charged for 2 and the insurance for 2 days. I now have to waste more of my time as customer care told me I had to call billing to get my card refunded. It could have been an honest mistake but I have to give up my time in my day to get my money back now

You need to make sure each location has eqmnt .I reserved an appl. Hand truck for 10.00 advise that Meriden location didn't have 1..not good.... also the truck had no ramp----- so we had to hand lift a refrigerator on to the truck ..that was not easy ...so if you could pls tell your renters up front about what you have or not ....also if your paying by cash you need a 100.00 deposit ...the store rep advised me that the reservation line only take reservation and will resv what you ask not knowing what's at location NOT GOOD ..........

It was a very pleasant experience and the staff member , Raul, was a pleasure to deal with. He was very friendly and helpful, we had a slight issue with the rear door and he came outside and took care of it for us. Overall this location and Raul made our moving day, which is normally an extremely stressful thing, a whole lot easier and less stressful. You don't find that often in 2020. I would highly recommend this location and will definitely be going back for any future needs. Thank you Raul and thank you U-Haul!!

The friendliness and service from the staff was amazing. Their was a slight mixup with the reservation and the original vehicle I needed wasn't available but the staff was quick to get a replacement vehicle and get me on my way. This will definitely be my go to location from now on! Great great customer service

IF A CUSTOMER INTENDS TO RETURN A VEHICLE AFTER BUSINESS HOURS, STAFF SHOULD TELL PEOPLE THAT THE ONLINE CHECKOUT PROCESS REQUIRES PHOTOS TO BE TAKEN, SO WARN PEOPLE TO WAIT UNTIL THEY COMPLETE THE CHECKOUT TO PLACE THE VEHICLE KEYS IN THE DROPBOX.

The self return is frustrating, after 2 days of moving the last thing I want to have to do is spend 20 mins talking pictures of the truck. Also the dolly that was in the back of the truck had no clip on it and I did no realize this until it was too late to call anyone and I don't want to be charged for it. Only clip was on the blanket. I must say one of the women that worked there were very nice and I was there when thier was an issue with a truck and another customer and she handled it so well and the other customer left happy. You have some wonderful staff working for you.

Well, we rented this truck for 200 miles. I was scared to ride in it. It must have been very very old. I did not feel safe at all and was seriously worried. The steering wheel was not steady. My husband, who was driving had to hold it so tightly and it would still go from side to side. Extremely loud. So I'm general the experience of renting the truck was good but the truck condition was not OK for a 200 miles ride. Thankfully we survived but I was seriously worried not to get into an accident to to the truck condition.

Upon picking up the rep said that I could return after hours and as long as i use the app upon delivery I would not be charged any fee. THEY CHARGED ME FOR A FULL SECOND DAY, DOUBLE INSURANCE AND A DOLLY I DID NOT RENT!!! And when confronted, refused to refund me. SCAM ARTISTS.

One of the problems is your website. I need a trailer quickly to help a farmer with a delivery and I didn't realized that even though I asked about the store closest to me then set me to the other side of town. They did accommodate me and took me when I got there, unfortunately the person who was suppose to open wasn't able to get there. The timing worked out fine. The trailer had just been given to them and the pictures on the check-in in no way was the last pictures of the that trailer. There was a repaired hole in the front that they had no idea was there. I did the check-in so there was no problem but that should have been on the pictures that I saw and they should have know that it was there.

Waiting time was a bit long, I was the third in line. Not sure how that could be improved though, perhaps staggering the reservation/pick-up schedule, if possible. Or possibly listing how many reservations are scheduled at a given time. The clerk was pretty efficient.

Was promised repeatedly someone would be there until 5 p.m. They left at 3 p.m. Was incredibly aggravating to drop off even though we were 90 minutes early. Also was a tire pressure issue with a computer error message that blocked the mileage. Only positive was customer service person that talked us through checking out

There was a Tire Monitor light the odometer display that made it difficult to see the miles on the vehicle. This could have been prevented with regular maintenance of the vehicles, and a utility dolly was not available, so I was given an appliance dolly instead. The appliance dolly made the move much more complicated.

I was over charged for a service that was not the Van I reserved. Another problem I returned the Vehicle exactly a few minutes after closing & there was nobody there I could keep the van one day & you were not supposed to charged me an extra $20 dollars. I am upset with the service at that location this is the 3rd time I go thru some problems with them. On top of that my reservation online was not enought they hold me back asking all the questions again and scanning my license process took another hour & half at the counter. It hold my plans down for 2 hours by the time I was on the road. You count that as a good service? I will never go back if I dont get a refund of my setvice.
