Staff was incredible despite long lines and standard complaining customers. Top quality
James CI have rented in a number of other locations. This one was more difficult then others. One example, I had pre-ordered a mattress cover. The person did not know that I had done that already when I booked on line my reservation. This is a small detail. But it become a problem later. When I returned the trailer. I wanted to get credit for the mattress cover. Since I did not use it. At the delivery location. They told me that he could not give me credit. I would have to contact U-Haul to get credit. As far as was concerned. He represented -Haul and he should have been able to provide with credit.

ANDY GIt took a VERY long time to process my reservation. The computer system was slow and the front desk person kept apologizing for it. Fix the computer system to allow for quicker processing.
Simon STook me over 45 minutes to pick up the trailer with only one other customer there and 3 workers. I walked in and there was a guy asking about a trailer at the counter. I waited behind him for a while. during his conversation about units and sizes, during that he explained that he was wanting a trailer for a later date in the middle of May. Over a month away. I saw an employee walk out another door to my right and asked him if he can help me pick up a car hauler cause I need to get on the road. He said no.I continued to wait. Then eventually the customer wanted to see some of the trailers outside in person. The employee started to walk him out there. At that point I said "sorry but I have a reservation and need to pick up a trailer and get moving and he wants something next month. Can I get my trailer now?" The employee at the counter pointed over and said the guy 2 computers over at the counter can help me. Unbelievable, I never saw him because the shelves and everything around was blocking my view and he was sitting with his phone and crouched low. I stepped over and there he was. another employee at the counter leaning back and looking at his phone. I was stunned. The first guy with the the customer could have directed me to him when he first saw me in line, the second guy that came out the side door could see him from his angle but never pointed him out and the cell phone guy at the counter had to have heard me when I asked to be helped when I asked out loud that I have a reservation before the first guy took the customer outside. I could tell he didn't care to work there. The cell phone guy was not very efficient and fumbled around asking me things that were already on the reservation and took too long. After a while, the first guy came back from the customer trailer tour and had to show him what to press. The cell phone guy could see that I was getting frustrated and in a hurry and had he nerve to tell me that I will get a lot further in life if I am more patient. I said I have been waiting this whole time while you were here and I needed to get on the road a while ago. I wanted to add " the only reason you are so relaxed is cause you're sitting here texting on your phone and not helping customers while you're getting an hourly pay" but I didn't say anything. he finally finished up and said to go outside and someone will be out there shortly. I went out by the trailer and waited and waited. Finally came back in and said saw the first guy and said no one came outside. He said he will get someone. I went back out and waited. finally, the first guy came out cause I guess he couldn't get anyone to come out. I explained my frustration with the whole pick up and he said he doesn't like working with this crew either. We hurried up and and I was finally able to leave after that whole ridiculous process. Not to mention the lady on the phone told me I was getting a $50 discount because I was making the reservation with her on the phone. I asked the cell phone guy about it while he was fumbling around and he shrugged it off and said he knows nothing about it cause I didn't her her name on the call when I was making the reservation that day.

Zalman CHello, thanks a lot for the opportunity to tell my opinion on the service. The location was average but I had problems with the service. When I got the van I rented, it had the low tire pressure sign on. When I requested a change, the people from the uhaul team told me first to "go ask outside for a tire pressure check" which I assume it was not my duty. If I'm renting something, I expect to have a full service, which I assume will have the correct tire pressure on the vans, if you are offering a van rental service. So I insisted I preferred a change, and so they did (in not a very friendly manner). When I got the new van, even though it was clean (and the companion seat was very wet), the smell inside was terrible. I honestly didn't want to request another change because it was going to make me loose time and effort, so I kept it. When I came back, I did my return before the expected time and -when I asked- it was not considered a reimbursement for that. So no, I'm not going to recommend the service or the location.

Samuel HThe young lady who greeted me at my early arrival 7:30 AM was terrific! She was professional, polite, and accommodative. The equipment was fine however, I had requested and paid for two items to assist to my move one for regular packages, an upright, dolly, the second of flat for heavy items. The second flat items was not included in the truck! Did I pay for it. Also, there was a not requested package of moving blankets scrapped to the inside which I did not touch!? Lastly, there was an extra $41 charged to my card after returning the vehicle which I did not appreciate.

isack memployees were very disrespectful to each other in front of customers I can only imagine when no one is around. A woman working was so arrogant and didn't even want to supply a cart when needed. she should have not bothered to even come to work if she don't want to work. The gentleman at the front counter could not even believe this employees actions. I don't know hoe this place runs... I have never in the 15 years coming to this location ever seen this place run like this.. It's like a bunch of children running the store. All speaking foul language and no desire to help. Even closing the doors 20 minutes before the store closed, I will never come here again !!! this store was never like this what has happened here???

The staff at 163rd street in north Miami Beach is a great crew. They all deserve compliments. See you all again and again. As a rare book dealer who hosts a radio program for the past eleven years. I mention you many times as the best place a rare bookie can rent an appropriate vehicle to use to transport rare book and show fixtures and get to the show on time and in style. Thanks

gary rToday I had a horrible experience at your store an employee named Edgar was rude and disrespectful towards me. He called me a Nigger and got in my face trying to fight me . This employee did not want to help me find the truck issues to me I had walked the lot for 10 minutes and couldn’t locate it . I asked him for help and he didn’t want to help than he finally agreed and when he found it he proceeded to tell me I didn’t look at all for it . There was no employees helping customers out after you get your key I also was asked by another customer how to take off the emergency brake he had no idea how. My truck also had some sort of starter issues it took me long time to start it after my first stop I thought was a dead battery or something and almost called road side assistance .I think there should be more help when you get into your car and assist people to find it and make sure no issues .. The guy at the front was friendly but he insulted the kid in front of me staking his girlfriend was too old for him when it was clearly his mom looked just like him was obvious to a blind person . When I returned my car the guy who checked me out was very professional and did a nice job .
SCOTT SExperience was mediocre, but I guess I still moved with your truck so... Person at the desk was filthy, U-Haul T-shirt but filthy with many stains. His fingers and nails were disgusting, really not hygienic. However he was helpful. The second guy with holes in his T-shirt, who gave me my dollies and covers spoke an english difficult to understand and was not making any effort to help his customers, not a nice interaction, I was suprised to be called "boss man" also. Your app is clunky, not clear and confusing. Truck was fine. Old but fine. The dollies I ordered were not available so I lost time goinf back to the desk and modifying the order. U-haul is fine, but i would not recommend the location to a friend.

JAHAN KA specific worker that takes return equipment in the morning (puertorican) perhaps, dare to scream and disrespectful and challenge to call me outside to fight all because I had a large vehicle and he claimed I was blocking him from working when I was parked at a parking spot not in the middle of the lot. The way he charger at me was totally unnecessary and inappropriate and he did it all in front of other customers. I'm sure I'm not the only one he has done this to. Very disappointing experience.

RENE CVehicles should be fully inspected before they are rented to customers. The vehicle had transmission issues and should not be rented out.
ANDERSON RMore employee instead of 1 person working but she is absolutely amazing and perform wonderfully. Very patient with the customer and extremely helpful. She was able to manage everyone but if there is more employee on a busy place like that it would of make the job easier instead of having an entire line waiting for their turn. Customer service over the phone is excellent. Great service from the entire team.
MELISSA GThe battery died on a vehicle with only 4,000 miles on it. I feel I was overcharged significantly for the safe move! It was extremely expensive and for some reason I supposedly signed up for it. I asked for a detail list of all of the expenses broken down and only got a copy of the final bill.

You system is not customer friendly; I had to go to a different storage in Doral (40 minutes away) and then back to the North Miami facility in order to store my items. Webpage (My account) does not register the current sotarge rental under my name, which makes it impossible to make an online payment.

The young lady that helped me seemed like she was struggling to keep conscious and had little interest in being there. When we had an issue with the keypad to get in we were admonished by a very annoyed front desk worker who told us we weren’t using both keypads. The issue was no one told us there were two or that they needed to be used together or in what order. We were supposed to guess. When I asked if she could just check the code in case it was the code so I wouldn’t have to come back she said just use both keypads as though she couldn’t be bothered. It’s a good thing your business model is based on demand and need as opposed to customer service and sales ability. You’d be bankrupt and out of business otherwise

Alaxei K | First ImpressionsWhen we first arrived, we were told our storage locker was at another address completely (incorrect). Multiple times when we visited our storage locker we had to ask staff to move their car as it was blocking the loading door. 4 days prior to my storage unit expiring, I called their office, told the man who answered the phone that i would like to extend for another month, and he took my credit card number. A week later a woman called me and said my payment was overdue, and threatening me with late fees and lien fees etc etc. It turns out the man had only processed "the insurance owing on the first month" (~$10). I had been told upon original check in that this was included in my first free month. When the woman processed my 2and month rental payment, she charged me 2 lots of insurance. ******I would like 1 of these refunded please******
