The van we rented was clean and well maintained, but i would recommend an air freshener.Carolina T.
Didn't have the van I ordered. Had a truck with no lock to secure belongings. Had ordered a dolly and they did not have any on location. Was sent outside to find truck with no key and no direction. Looked for truck that was not even on property. Went back inside and found out was given wrong truck number since the one I was given was not there. They reprinted a new contract for another truck and sent me outside to look for it alone on the east side when the truck was on the opposite side of the building. I have been to other locations where employees were much more helpful and had the equipment I originally ordered. Was left with a very unpleasant experience from this location.Lindsey W.

Suitcase and TiVo box in the back storage when I lefefy from dropping off the truck, after being on hold for 40 minutes In order to speak with a customer care rep. . I noticed the website said that particular location was closing at 20am do right before getting a clock away I finally got to speak to this sarcastic man from the calll center . I Told the worker I needed a Dolly and she ensured me that there was one inside of the truck. If someone has reserved a 24/7 Share reservation weather they are late or at a time you are open so not turn it into a reservation you I've to go inside for and deal with one of your associates. I highly recommend you make sure your people or the app or corporate or whomever is doing this stop immediately. Twice last week this happened to me cause I arrived 30 minutes late and your offices were already closed but I never wanted to deal with your offices. It almost happened a third time but luckily your offices were still opened. This is like the third time I've complained. On your website and on the phone. And I still have not received a response or some sort of compensation for my wasted time. I'd be careful new companies are coming out with good pricing and better customer service. You could be losing a lot of business soon.James P.

Check the equipment. Mine was faulty and I've discovered that when I've loaded the car... One of the tie downs was cut short so I had to loose more than an hour, drive to the next small town, buy a strap and improvise in the middle of nowhere. I've drove more than five hours super nervous thinking that I was gonna loose my car in any given moment. Not cool at all, very nerve racking. I believe that Uhaul needs to reimburse me because of the faulty equipment but when I got to North Miami Beach the Nanager wasn't there (6:25PM) and the guys are always so good to me that I've explained what happened but I didn't claim anything to them! Phone customer service is horrible. Your rental app is terrible. It makes renting and returning a huge hassle. Your trucks are never filled to full with gas which ends up costing renters more money on return because it is impossible to return at exact levels. All in all Uhaul is a poorly run company that would benefit from proper competition.AVROHOM E.
I initially rented a motorcycle trailer to have it returned on 4/25 at 8am. When speaking on the phone the morning of 4/25 I made the person on the phone aware that I ended up returning the trailer on the night of 4/23. Have enough 5'x8' AVs on-site to satisfy demand! As a repeat customer for the last 12 years, I always make advanced reservations, yet in spite of having a reservation on 04/02/2022, Order # 96267244, I was turned away as there were no trailers available! (and, by the way, received no credit either for the disappointing inconvenience). Again, having a reservation on 04/22/2022 I just got lucky by being able to get the last AV 8695K. In conclusion, AVs seem to be in a much greater demand at this particular location than RVs. It would be nice to know if one reserves the specific trailer, it will be there available without having to worry about it! Thank you for your attention to this annoying matter.George F.

There was a long line. The clerks at the counter was polite but slow. They did not explain where to pick up the trailer. We had to go around the back but it was closed due to repairs. It took us another half an hour to figure how to go around the back to get the trailer. I would not rent here again.Thelma E.

Employees are not aligned with delivering a quality service. They have a terrible attitude. You system is not customer friendly; I had to go to a different storage in Doral (40 minutes away) and then back to the North Miami facility in order to store my items. Staff was rude and completely uninterested in helping customers. The young lady that helped me seemed like she was struggling to keep conscious and had little interest in being there. When we had an issue with the keypad to get in we were admonished by a very annoyed front desk worker who told us we weren’t using both keypads. The issue was no one told us there were two or that they needed to be used together or in what order. We were supposed to guess. When I asked if she could just check the code in case it was the code so I wouldn’t have to come back she said just use both keypads as though she couldn’t be bothered. When we first arrived, we were told our storage locker was at another address completely (incorrect). Multiple times when we visited our storage locker we had to ask staff to move their car as it was blocking the loading door. 4 days prior to my storage unit expiring, I called their office, told the man who answered the phone that i would like to extend for another month, and he took my credit card number. A week later a woman called me and said my payment was overdue, and threatening me with late fees and lien fees etc etc. It turns out the man had only processed "the insurance owing on the first month" (~$10). I had been told upon original check in that this was included in my first free month. When the woman processed my 2and month rental payment, she charged me 2 lots of insurance. ******I would like 1 of these refunded please******Curtis B. | Overall Experience
