I rented a uhaul 3 times this month from different locations and This was the worst location. On pick up The staff was speaking with someone over AirPods/ phone while there was 4 ppl in line and then it was finally my turn she charged me for the coverage I specifically said I didn't want. So instead of being able to just return the car She said I have to come back in so they can refund me upon check in . Thankfully on my return there was no one in-line but that whole process still took about 45 mins to refund the coverage because staff didn't know what they're were doing and computers weren't working . It was so frustrating I wanted to walk out and say keep the $ but I had already waited 25 mins at that point. I've never written a review before and I am patient person but gawdaaaamn.VERA G.

When I arrived on location, I followed the instructions on the app to check in to pick up my vehicle. After providing the following information in order to pick up the key I went to the counter and there was Poor communication at the front desk. No acknowledgment, once I was able to grab the young ladies attention I informed her that I need to pick up a key and I was trying to show her my mobile device so she can verify the key number. She informed me without checking that I have the wrong location. I again insist that she looked at my mobile device and therefore she then mentions to me that my vehicle is not ready to make matters worse I made this reservation three weeks in advance requesting two dollies and they were only able to accommodate me with one. The manager sees what's going on but I guess he was too busy looking at his cell phone in order to accommodate and/or try to remedy the situation his name tag red Tony Edmond, clearly he didn't want to fix the issue I'm assuming it was too early in the morning. I am a frequent renter with U-Haul and this experience puts a bitter taste in my mouth for a future business.Kenny R.

The truck I reserved wasn't available when I went to pick it up. Luckily they gave me a smaller truck and I made it work but it's incredible how you can reserve something and when you get there it's not there. I felt like I wasn't valued as a customer. The wrong key tag was on in the box vs the numbers on the van. I called for assistance and no one was able to answer. Didn't have the van I ordered. Had a truck with no lock to secure belongings. Had ordered a dolly and they did not have any on location. Was sent outside to find truck with no key and no direction. Looked for truck that was not even on property. Went back inside and found out was given wrong truck number since the one I was given was not there. They reprinted a new contract for another truck and sent me outside to look for it alone on the east side when the truck was on the opposite side of the building. I have been to other locations where employees were much more helpful and had the equipment I originally ordered. Was left with a very unpleasant experience from this location.Lindsey W.

If someone has reserved a 24/7 Share reservation weather they are late or at a time you are open so not turn it into a reservation you I've to go inside for and deal with one of your associates. I highly recommend you make sure your people or the app or corporate or whomever is doing this stop immediately. Twice last week this happened to me cause I arrived 30 minutes late and your offices were already closed but I never wanted to deal with your offices. It almost happened a third time but luckily your offices were still opened. This is like the third time I've complained. On your website and on the phone. And I still have not received a response or some sort of compensation for my wasted time. I'd be careful new companies are coming out with good pricing and better customer service. You could be losing a lot of business soon.James P.

Check the equipment. Mine was faulty and I've discovered that when I've loaded the car... One of the tie downs was cut short so I had to loose more than an hour, drive to the next small town, buy a strap and improvise in the middle of nowhere. I've drove more than five hours super nervous thinking that I was gonna loose my car in any given moment. Not cool at all, very nerve racking. I believe that Uhaul needs to reimburse me because of the faulty equipment but when I got to North Miami Beach the Nanager wasn't there (6:25PM) and the guys are always so good to me that I've explained what happened but I didn't claim anything to them! Employees are not aligned with delivering a quality service. They have a terrible attitude. You system is not customer friendly; I had to go to a different storage in Doral (40 minutes away) and then back to the North Miami facility in order to store my items. Staff was rude and completely uninterested in helping customers. The young lady that helped me seemed like she was struggling to keep conscious and had little interest in being there. When we had an issue with the keypad to get in we were admonished by a very annoyed front desk worker who told us we weren’t using both keypads. The issue was no one told us there were two or that they needed to be used together or in what order. We were supposed to guess. When I asked if she could just check the code in case it was the code so I wouldn’t have to come back she said just use both keypads as though she couldn’t be bothered. When we first arrived, we were told our storage locker was at another address completely (incorrect). Multiple times when we visited our storage locker we had to ask staff to move their car as it was blocking the loading door. 4 days prior to my storage unit expiring, I called their office, told the man who answered the phone that i would like to extend for another month, and he took my credit card number. A week later a woman called me and said my payment was overdue, and threatening me with late fees and lien fees etc etc. It turns out the man had only processed "the insurance owing on the first month" (~$10). I had been told upon original check in that this was included in my first free month.
