JULIO MThe computer system went down and we had to use my phone to complete the check in process. I completed an early reservation on the app and, still, a 5 minute payment interaction became 30 minutes for each customer. The staff did their best to accommodate, but the situation was still frustrating. Shortly after leaving the beleaguered location, the fan for the A/C failed. We adjusted the settings periodically, but ultimately had no A/C for the entirety of our project, which becomes a health concern when you’re moving furniture out in the middle of Florida summer. I could not turn around to switch to another truck as I was already late to an appointment and the line (with the system still down and the staff stretched thin) would run too long, ultimately endangering my project altogether. The increasing number of returning vehicles, as well as pending customer interactions, would have kept me waiting an hour or more to exchange my truck. So, I kept it. I hoped that the A/C would pull through and deliver; it did not. If I use this company for future projects, I will have to extend my check out process by 15 minutes to ensure the a/c works properly for myself and coworkers. I am waiting to hear back regarding my claim. While my experience is honest, I hope U-Haul will do right by me and return a portion of my payment. A moving truck without functional A/C can quickly heat up in the cab, putting the driver and passengers at risk of dehydration and heat exhaustion, ultimately endangering both themselves and anyone they may come across on their route. I can definitely say that the drive home (3+ hours during midday heat) was a struggle I would not wish on anyone.

NO "Insert your card, sign, then press accept". NO HELP; "Youre coming back at 5... No problem were open until 7". Walk out to truck "just take a picture of plate and follow directions on text AND WALKS AWAY"!? HUH!? Windshield so dirty had to stop and clean it! If it weren't for proxmity... id go somewhere else!

JOSHUA WStaff inside was great. Staff outside was poor. I was returning a trailer but had to wait until the outside Staff was done cleaning the truck in front of me so that I could pull the trailer through. Then I was told to park the trailer in a certain area and the guy disappeared. After waiting for some more time I disconnected the trailer myself and left. While pulling out, I saw the outside Staff sitting inside the working garage not really doing anything.
Douglas GLet the staff know that when a customer shows up to return equipment, they should stop playing with their cellphone, and assist the customer. I clearly was not as important as what was going on, on that phone.
Michael CI dropped this off at a different location and was charged an extra $1000! The woman at the location made no mention of a PENALTY, for dropping off the truck. I will not use nor recommend U-Haul ever again.

Courtney DI picked up a motorcycle trailer in the morning and when I dropped it off, I had to unload it myself. There were no other customers in the office just two employees and the lady said just go ahead and drop it in the back. It was 11 am when I dropped it off. I had to call and remind them at 3 PM to check it in because they had not checked it in yet. I did not want to be charged for another day for their mistakes. They finally checked it in after I called them.

Danielle BI have rented from U-Haul in the past and this was by far the worst experience. For the pickup, I was there for over an hour as the U-Haul rep. did not know how to do her job. She wanted to charge me almost twice the amount as what I had reserved over 1 month previously. When she called the 1-800 U haul number, there amount matched mine but she would not give me that same amount, only the much higher number. After nearly an hour, the manager came in and finally resolved it. After the contract was finally signed, I waited another 15 minutes for someone to come out to get me the trailer. I then had to move another trailer myself in order to hook my trailer up. Horrible experience and will not rent from that site again.

Robert LI didn’t have to go inside this location but drop off was quick and seamless. My only complaint here is that I was charged for extra mileage but when I rented I was told there was no mileage charge for the trip.
RYAN LI wouldn’t recommend because I spent the first hour trying to find it! Google maps put me miles away and then when finally found it (grocery store) he told me it was somewhere else!
tony sRented a small trailer. Could barely lift the roll up door. Door needed maintenance. he associated was aware of this as he put several blankets into the trailer. I did not notice it until I got back to the house and had workers there to load the trailer. If I had more time I would have returned the trailer and ask for a replacement equipment.

Christopher SA Returned truck was blocking the drive and I could not get past it to leave. Directing traffic off to the side would allow flow out of the lot. There is not enough parking for renters vehicles.

ZACHARY SWhen we went to pick up the toy hauler trailer at the location, it was at when we got there. The trailer was damaged and they seemed like they really didn’t care. It’s almost like we had to force them to call somebody to try to find us another one then they said they couldn’t in the whole state and the guy had to call back someone else to find out that there was one in another in the state about an hour away, so we had to rush there to pick it up before they closed and yeah, it just was not a good experience for picking up the trailer

humberto aI've rented U-Haul, Penske and Ryder equipment countless times for my business. U-Haul has a phenomenal business model that cannot be beat. Great pricing, locations everywhere and great equipment. This particular location has a staffing and management challenge. It does not seem staffed to demand (customer volume and monthly cycle data is available from your metrics I'm certain). And there could be more culture around expediency.
Steven MI was asked to drop the truck off at a different location in West Palm Beach. Then I received an email asking me to drop it off at a beauty shop complete with the address. When we stopped by the beauty shop the woman said nope not here. So we had to go find the Okeechobee store which is where we initially agreed to drop off the truck. That caused much confusion and delays and could have been cleared up with a text phone call or email.
NORMAN MBetter maintenance in the engines , shows lights from defective engine , both doors driver and passager was extremely hard to close , the divise to close and open the driver window do not operate properly .

Steven SI had an emergency that caused me to have the truck an extended time. Each time I came in the keep them informed, I got a young man who was very customer oriented. When I finally was able to return the uhaul, I asked his name. Shacquille is an asset to your company and I appreciate the level of service rendered to me.

Claudio APicking up the trailers that I use from this location as well as dropping it off is a very simple procedure. They all work together very nicely at this location and they always have the equipment there that I need. There’s always enough staff on hand to get myself in and out of the location and on the road thank you again

They had to input my info 3 times that I knew of due to network failure. Definitely a great team it seems like. 100% would use U-Haul again and definitely recommend this easy process. TAMIE PMy heavens. Tamara (sp?) was my CSR and she was so professional and helpful. The system was unbelievably slow (please upgrade your system!!!) but she maintained her composure. I would have cracked. The manager Shaquille was right by her side when she needed assistance. Great teamwork at this location! (Plus, they greeted all the other customers immediately upon their arrival to the location)
mary wI noticed that the van was dirty once I got on the road. Had roaches crawl out of vents while driving. Van also had a slow leak in front tire which I had to call roadside assistance to have tire changed.
Evan SI've used U-Haul services several times (2 Vans, 1-10ft. & 1-15ft.) during the past few weeks. All from this location. The reservation process was smooth every time, but aside from the time I returned a vehicle during business hours, every time I attempted to use the U-Haul app to complete a return, the app was conveniently experiencing technical issues and would not load, causing me to be overcharged for time I did NOT have your vehicle. I can't help but feel like that is a deliberate act to force additional charges for customers, increasing profit for U-Haul. I hope that is not the case, but I am not easily convinced it isn't.
