The truck reeked off cigarettes! The back door wasn’t latching properly I had to slam it just to latch. It’s crazy that he would give me that truck, that was fresh of cigarette smell and I had my two daughters with me. Wasn’t pleasant at all. I will not be returning to this location.

When I picked up the truck, they refused to give me a paper receipt, and when I returned it, they charged me double the mileage from Richmond to the address I actually went in. It's only 24 miles; the GPS doesn't lie, and they charged me double. Be very careful; this has never happened to me before. Take a picture of the dashboard before you leave

My rental was reserved for Vallejo. A few days before picking up they told me it would not be available and that I had to go to Richmond. This added distance, yet no extra miles were added to my rental. Just for the inconvenience I should have been given extra miles but since uhaul added extra miles to my trip they should have given me those miles on top of what was included with the truck.

I was rented a truck with only 1/4 tank of gas. I nearly ran out of gas doing what I needed to do. Then when I bought the truck back without refilling the tank, I was charged a $30 service charge in addition to the higher amount for gas. I understand about charging more for the gas. I was exhausted after moving stuff all day. I just wanted to get the truck back and didn't want to deal with getting the gas and potentially damaging the truck in the process. The gas + service charge for an 1/8 of a tank of gas was $57. That is ridiculous! That is 3X what it cost for the truck itself! I realize that it was stated on my contract about bringing the tank back at the same level, but I picked it up at night and it was dark at the rental place. The person at the place did not point this out in the contract nor did he remind me to bring it back at the same level nor did he let me know that there was only 1/4 tank to begin with. I am not very happy about this experience.

First of all it was a verbal altercation that happened between two employees when I arrived resulting in one employee walking off the job. That was very unprofessional. Secondly I was charged $84 for gas when I picked up the truck it was on a quarter tank there’s no way it cost $84 to put the tank back on a quarter. Especially when ppl cipher gas out the trucks anyway. I would never recommend U-Haul not this location or any other to anyone ever again.

The truck was damaged, the front bumper was partially falling off. The truck could use a deep clean, I don't believe they wipe down the trucks between customers, it's disgusting.
