The client service here was unbelievably good. I think the guys name was jason, but whoever was on duty was fast, friendly enough, super efficient, knowledgeable. He caught an error i made in my online reservation and fixed it fast. I needed extra time midway through rental and he followed up to make that happen. I was super impressed. Today, people rarely "exceed expectations" and this guy did.Peter B M.

Aside from the windows being so dirty, with the sun glare it was a danger to drive. Had to wash the windows inside and out when i got to my warehouse. Uhaul obviously did clean them at one point, but cleaned them to the point eveything was so streaky the sun glare would kill you. Biggest issue is I tried to do the rental over the internet. That when fine, until the pick up. Take a pic of location, pic of drivers license, pic or your face, pic of truck. OK. Then it wanted it all again, needless walking all over the lot to get all the pics a 2nd time. Now the problem. It wants 2 other phone numbers for you. Im a small business with just a cell phone number. Not good enough for uHaul and then I gave up and went inside to have the manager finish the contract. But even though he tried twice, he kept saying i was still long onto the site, locking up the vehicle. Even though when uHaul rep called me about the phone number problem. I told her I was inside trying to work it out and she said she would close out the internet session. And I did it on my phone several times, showing the manager to prove to him I was doing it. Finally, I just said. F the contract, and just rent me a truck from scratch. A waste of over an hour of my time. And I had to clean the windows. Door lock, sometimes would not unlock door. Real convieant when your in NYC. And the interior door panel was loose, probably because someone tried to fix the door lock and did a shit job of putting the truck back together again. And got to love the seat covers, that are not attached, so everytime you get in they bunch up under your butt. And when you get out they come out with you. Not a good experiance at all, aside from the manager stepping in to at least get me a truck.JON F.
Agent made misleading statement regarding the availability of trailer at requested location after I made reservation and it was confirmed. I was told I likely would have to pick up trailer from a remote location. No one contacted me beforehand to let me know where to pick up trailer. Calling main number is a waste of time as no matter when I called, I was placed on hold for more than twenty minutes at a time, and there was no way to speak with someone at the pick up location. Turned out there were two trailers at location at pick-up time.Robert F.
2 people in the back laughing and joking. When I asked we needed help. I was told that they didn't work at the front that someone was outside to help us (3 ppl in line). I asked the person outside. I was directed insides 3 minutes later. One of the workers from the back came out and started to help. Also he wasn't wearing a mask. His attitude was very poor. I'll avoid this branch as much as PossibleHOMERO C.

The transmission to this truck was horrible, the down shifts were hard and often abusive when driving.. Turning the key to start the van was also difficult. Has to jiggle the key for 5 minutes each time I had to turn on the van to get it to start.. this van needs maintenance check.Robert L.

When I arrived to return the van an employee was looking at me as he closed the storefront. I tried checking out using the website and it could not confirm my location. So I had to pay the convenience fee which I was trying to avoid. I even returned the van an hour early.GREGORY M.

The gentleman serving customers was not wearing a mask. I asked him if he needed one and he said he has one. I asked him why he isn't wearing it. He shrugged and said he doesn't believe in them. I walked in expecting to pay in the region of $20.00 or $30.00 for a couple of hours use of a rental vehicle. I ended up paying $60.00. I would call this a classic case of bait and switch. I did not leave happy or that I was dealt with openly and honestly as far as the contract was concerned. Secondly, I was herded into renting a vehicle that did not meet my needs. I asked for a 10-foot flatbed, but was rented a van. Bottom line: Making people believe they're getting something at one price, and then nickel and dimming them into all most 3 times that is NOT a winning longterm business strategy in my opinion. I will think twice before considering U-Haul.ian M.

The service rep was awful. He did not help with anything and was completely useless. The whole time he was not wearing a mask as he helped me and other customers. When he handed me the keys to the vehicle he basically told me to â€œgo find it myselfâ€. He also charged me for things I didn't even use. This felt like a scam and I will never use a Uhaul ever again or recommend it to anybody.Kyle B.

The spot number for the truck at pickup was incorrect on the app. I had to look through the entire parking lot to find it. Drop off was so easy, I pulled in and the young man told me I was good to go.JASON P.

when I arrived, the pickup was filled with snow and I reserved it a day in advance. one of thew workers came in without a facemark during this time and I found this troubling. We were quoted a mileage charge of $1 per mile at the time of making reservation, but on pick up, the agent doubled the rate to $2 a mile. This is unprofessional and rather a very bad business practice.RAJ S.

It was a little confusing doing the full self check in to get keys and leave. I had to walk around the building to find someone to help. Also, during my pick up time I had to still call into the company to add a 2nd contact. When doing it on the phone app it kept telling me my 2nd number was already used and could not use it again.
