Robert MThe location was except they even did a walkthrough of the trailer. However the running lights of the trailer were faulty. Not the breaks or blinkers. This unfortunately gut us pulled over and delayed our trip. Had to zip tie the wires to keep pressure in order to be able to complete the trip.

ANDRZEJ BPicking up the trailer was fine. The man at the counter was perfectly polite and the gentleman who helped us hook it up was great. However, when I returned it the following morning, I was there a few minutes before the location was open for business. The door was still locked. While I unhooked the trailer the doors were unlocked and it was open for business. Before I left I went into the building and informed the person behind the counter that I just dropped off a trailer and asked if there was anything else I needed to do. He said "No", so I left. When I received the electronic receipt it showed that the trailer wasn't checked in until 35 minutes after the location opened and I was charged for an additional day. When I called U-Haul customer support, it was straightened out quickly, but I should not have had to.

Robert OThis location did not have the trailer I reserved on the day and mentions that it is down for maintenance. I needed to go to another location to get a trailer which cost more time and money just to go pick it up. I missed my other appointment due to having to go to the other location.

MANUEL P100% satisfied! I’ve rented 2, 26’ trucks in the past 2 weeks for a long distance move. The trucks were in amazingly perfect shape, were ready when promised and I was able to complete the process simply and efficiently!
John BThe trailer (California Plate 4BU1529 ) has lights that didn't work and wasn't exactly clean either. After using it, I hosed it off, rinsing dirt off the entire exterior and interior of the trailer.
Michael LI found it very expensive with fees that were not advertised. However, the front desk attention at Scotch Plains location was great. The customer service was very kind and quick.

peter sDon’t lie on the invoice. Dont defraud your customers. Dont charge customers for things that never happened. Don’t make up information. I will be calling this location and corporate to resolve this issue. I will not be paying the excessive charges on this invoice.
