My final bill was wrong with false charges about mileage and coverage. I am glad I took photo of the mileage. They corrected my charges quickly after my reply email to final bill. But now, I am not comfortable trusting them with chargesMOHAMMADASIF G.
I woukd rate it excellent (5 stars), if i didn't have to drive to the u-haul store to book thd cargo v as n kn person. I did call many times, however, the system just simply disconnected my phone after i pushed 2 (to talk to people, instead of 1 for knowing store hours). Therefore, i had to drive to u-haul store to book gh ed cargo van, then, went home to leg my wife drive my car to drop md off at the u-haul store to rent the van, doubled my efforts, and costs md extra 45 minutes.Eric Y.

I have recommended this location in the past to my friends. This was my best experience yet with U Haul or any vehicle rental. They were friendly and explained everything; the check out and check in were very speedy. And they even ran after me to give me my sunglasses that were left in the van. When changing a customer's drop off point, AFTER they agreed to a certain place, the text should tell then that is is required to drop off at new location. I am EXTREMELY unhappy that when I got to location I HAD AGREED TO, that I had to drive back to your forced location change to avoid an additional charge.Angela C.

Not try to add additional charges upon return of equipment would be the first thing! There was a rather unpleasant discussion with staff when this happened to me and I was having NONE OF IT as I had a signed contract stating length of rental, time to be returned which i completed to the letter but still they tried to make me pay an additional $100. When I presented my contract they tried everything to get out of it but I stood my ground and finally succeeded in making then honor my contact to the penny. I had reserved and paid for the reservation. However, the trailer was not there. I had to settle for a smaller size which which was located at a different location and had to spend time and gas driving to another location. In addition, now I need to make another reservation and another trip because the smaller size was not able to put all my items in the trailer.Rudy G.

Both pick up and drop off locations were nice and the personnel at both locations were helpful with great customer service. My issue was with the change of pick up and drop off location occurring without strong communication on uhaul's end. I spent over an hour on the phone, primarily on hold, trying to get the address of the new pickup location that was now moved thirty minutes further away. My drop off location was altered after the fact and my online portal said to return it to the original pick up location (two hours away). I spent another chunk of time with customer service making sure they edited the info on their end so I would not be penalized for dropping off at the wrong location. ALL this to say, I have used uhaul many times and never have an issue with the trucks or placing a reservation; however, customers are using uhaul's services during stressful/chaotic times of moving and my feedback would be to tighten up the chain of communication for any changes that may inevitably happen to reservations and the recipient/customer.Torrey H.

this place is great. note the location at western ave. and carson st. torrance,ca the white girl there did not get here name is dumb. sorry for that but, she under trained doesnt know what size trailers are. asked her for a 5x9 trailer and she s WHAT? AGAIN WHAT. A TRAILER . IM SORRY I DONT KNOW THE TRAILER SIZES?, i blame u-haul for not training someone in the field, NOT HER. i have been renting trailers most of the time in that location , I WAS TRAINING HER NOT U HAUL. Manny helped us Check -In and Check -Out. We appreciate his help so very much . We please ask Uhaul to recognize him for his professionalism in helping our moving day worth the while. We had the rental for 6 hrs. We definitely would come back again to this Torrance Uhaul on 24091Hawthorne Blvd. 90505. Dear U-haul. This is a very good location. The manager David does a good job. Actually everyone is very responsible and very nice. Fuel rating was not accurate on release actually 3/16 but on paper was 1/4 and when i returned it after only doing 9 miles nearly 1/8 was assessed 1/8 depleted after only 9 miles give me a break even when in fact I put 10$ in the needle didnt move at all! i didnt have time to go back and refil it and was charged nearly 50 bucks for a refill dont rent the 15ft truck casue its fuel gauge may be faulty never had this experience at Uhaul before - very sadASADULLAH Y.
