Sean CThe truck was ready to go. We didn’t have to relocate or wait for the rental to come in. We were able to buy a lock and rent a dolly when we go to the rental location easily. The service member William S helped us quickly and kindly. The truck was clean but did smell of cigarette smoke. The young man helping us apologized and let us know he tried to clean out the smell as good as he could. The rentals are supposed to be smoke free, from what I understand, but the gentlemen did try to get rid of the smell. This location was professional and would use again if the need arise.

JAMES PI had to extend to a day; LA traffic and a pile up made it so I couldn't get there before closing. So I pulled over, used the app, and the App said I had to call. So I did ... and the guy on the line said it was no problem to extend for a day. The idea between self-service apps is to REDUCE the number of people needed. This app INCREASES the number of people added, and wasted half an hour of my time. I had to download the app, register, go through all of that ... then I had to call, listen to all the sales stuff, push a few buttons, and finally spoke to someone. The App is a complete waste of my time. I should charge U-Haul for it! LOL Sorry for the rant - this location made it very easy to pickup the trailer, returned it within moments. Very friendly staff. Two thumbs up. The parking lot is a bit tight, but was easy to maneuver even with a trailer. And they have propane! Makes it a one stop shop. Thank you folks!

RUSSELL KFirs. The moving assist labor was a massive failure. The movers did not show up, did not call and was a complete disaster. People count on this service to keep their lives in tact. Moving is a very important, stressful and emotional time. Services need to be counted on to keep personal plans in order. I will be sending detailed complaints on the Moving Labor service that failed. ON THE FLIPSIDE I want to thank the Torrence manager for helping me find moving help at the last hour to pull off and handle my moving needs. He provide a number to local movers that worked out fantastic. I give the Torrence Hall 5 stars for the Service and help. UHaul needs to review and be serious about who is recommended and affiliated with the UHaul brand which has always been solid for me in my 54 years here on earth. Thanks UHaul Torrence team. You are appreciated. BUT...The moving labor service was a 100% failure.

Nikisha POn my trip I had a new truck. It only hade about 450 miles on it. I found that the steering wheel had a lot of play in it making steering hard. When I hit any bumps or any fwy ripples, the truck would swerve. I couldn't drive over 50mph. It felt like maybe the tires were filled too much or the suspension springs were too hard. Once I literally came off the seat when I hit a bump even though I had my seat belt on. This "new" truck needs to be looked at. My muscles were tense for 2 hours trying to make sure I had control incase the wheels didn't like the road ....the older truck I used before drove much better.

Martin CThe truck was not washed and had spots on the back window and there was dirt and rocks in the bed of the truck and the tires were low . I drove it far so I had to fill them to where they didn't cost me so much gas .. overall ,8 out of 10 . Instore was perfect guy who rented it to me was more then helpful and most of all respect me as a person ..thank you guy ..I will use uhaul again

Doree BI had an excellent experience. The gentleman who helped me was on the ball and very charismatic. Only issue that I had was that when I received the truck i only had an 1/8 of a tank, yet was expected to return it with a 1/4 tank . It doesn't make sense how I am liable to turn the truck in with more gas than I received it. If the expectation is to return the truck with a 1/4 tank, it should have a 1/4 tank in it. That was my only gripe with this experience.
Augie OMost of the employees were not dressed in any type of uniform or shirt identifying that they worked for U-Haul. I pulled in and was asked to ark in a different spot, the I was told to park again in the same spot, then I was asked to move again. It was insane at the level of disorganization. Not to mention the customer service was nonexistent. I would rather travel light years out of my way than to rent from this location again.

On busy days (like Saturday), it would be helpful to have clear signage as to where a line forms so that people can be taken in order. But overall, I have rented there multiple times and it has always been a positive experience.
RONALD GOutstanding customer service. They were totally prepared and easy to deal with. The truck was pretty clean but there was a big crack in the passenger side mirror and the windshield wipers were totally worn out.
