Your vehicles are not well designed for drivers over six feet tall. While the cargo bay was perfect, and the suspension was smooth, I felt like a pretzel while behind the wheel. Surely an extra six inches of seat travel can't be that hard to implement?

Fix your app so that I could get the truck keys without having to break the social distancing requirements to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The business doors were open and they were letting people into the confined space of the business which is not good. Otherwise service from the staff there was great.

Received Truck Not Clean. Gas Level was not to the level indicated on contract, when I informed an employee he told me that it’s fine don’t worry. Received a call from an employee asking am I nearby or is the truck near by so they can look in the back to see if a previous customer left belongings & so they can capture a picture and send it to “her”. I told them yes the truck is close right down the street parked & that I will be there in 30 minutes so they can check. I pulled up to the truck 5 minutes after they called me and they were already in the back of my truck looking without my consent! Truck started sputtering and would not switch gears after driving about 10 miles out from the u haul center. Returned truck and put the key in the drop box then called customer service right away.

The driver side door did not close properly without repeated slamming. The online experience leaves a lot to be desired.

I am still really shook up about the gas pipe being damaged causing a major spill when I was trying to fuel up. The U-Haul employee said they often have that issue from being people stealing gas from the trucks. I’m disappointed to know they don’t thoroughly check their trucks to prevent this from occurring to people. I don’t trust renting vehicles from there again.

Sunday Mar 1..only 1 Counter person handling the front desk until 11AM.. I arrived at 930..did not get truck..and I preregistered completely, until 11AM when the 2and counter person arrived.

Stay as efficient and awesome as you are. The gentleman who helped me, I believe his name is Louis Padilla, was very fast, yet very thorough, and very courteous. He made the experience of picking up and dropping off the truck as easy and effortless as it could possibly be. I really appreciate the great service I consistently receive at this location. 5 stars!

I ordered 4 dozen moving blankets and they only had half dozen available for me. The constant moving of the pick up location is truly inconvenient.

There was a vape pen in the consol and greasy papers. I returned the truck with a quarter of a tank of gas I received it with 3/4 I believe but was charged $70 more dollars which is absurd

I think the Vallejo store did an excellent job. It was a little crowded when I got there but that should be expected on a Saturday morning around 8:30 - and they were as efficient as possible in handling all the customers. Truck worked great and return was super easy. Thanks a lot!

I reserved a 20 foot truck over a week in advance for the Pittsburg, ca location and I was emailed two days in advance that the pick up location changed to Antioch, CA and was Guaranteed pick up for 0830 on February 15. I drove an extra 20 minutes to get to this location and arrived at 0830 for the self check in and it said it was not available for this order. I waited until 0900 when the location opened and I was informed that they did not have a truck for me, even though the email stated it was guaranteed at this location. They told me to go to Vallejo, CA because that is where the truck is that I reserved. This location is 40 minutes away and I was never Informed via phone or email that the pick up location had changed again for the 2nd time. I called the Vallejo location was was informed that my truck was not yet “scheduled” even though I booked online over a week prior. I called the number they gave me and was told that my pick up location changed late the night before picking up and I was not informed about the change. This caused me to miss out on two hours of the moving people i had standing by to help. This was a huge inconvenience and I was only refunded the $50 fee that holds the truck. Since I was told 3 separate times that my truck was guaranteed to be somewhere, when clearly it was never guaranteed. This was the extra stress that was completely unnecessary to deal with on moving day. Booking in advance was supposed to allow me to avoid all of this run around scrambling to find a truck. Next time I will be using another service for moving.

This is a very poorly run location with not enough staff to do the job. When we arrived our van was no ready because it needed a new battery - why make the customer wait for this? Furthermore, the staff behind the counter was rude and did not reflect good customer service. Returning the van was also chaotic as it was not clear to anyone what the process was - whether to wait in line inside or give your key to an outside employee - took much longer than it should. I will not recommend this location and will not use it again. You need to do better than this.

I love the service a this location! Everyone is extremely hardworking, efficient, and professional. I use them a lot for business and actually look forward to going there! The only feedback I have is that I wish the trucks didn't have such a strong fragrance when they've been cleaned (and they are always very clean, which is awesome). I wonder if there are any fragrance free options. Other than that, it is always a pleasure and I'd recommend them to anyone (and have)! Thanks for doing a great job!

I returned the equipment 3 days early only to find out that i paid for a flat rate. This should have been disclosed at the time of rental. Customer service was supposed to call me to confirm my rental the day before. I went to the location to find out that my reservation was placed at a different location. I wasn't notified and the other location was 18 miles away. This was very inconvenient and fustrating.

Manager is a fraud, he charged extra money from me, he is discriminatory, he insulted me. In my opinion he understand I’m immigrant and he framed me and he used my insurance on former dent. I definitely didn’t do any dent or harm or accident. If this problem will not solved I’m going to get an attorney. I am a decent person and I am a legal immigrant. I didn’t involved any accident on that day, I didn’t do any dent or anything else. You should solve this problem or cord will solve it.

Nigel at the Vallejo store and Belinda in east bay scheduling get 5 stars. U-boxes not available as scheduled on either end. Nigel and Belinda were the only of 20 U-haul staff that took care of biz.
