Teresa was awesome. She was helpful in making sure my boxes were delivered to my new location on time and that they were finally picked up from the new location when I was finished with them. Also, the ladies had to deliver my boxes in the pouring rain. They placed them exactly as requested at the new location. Also, MyTwoMovers booked through Uhaul'swebsite was awesome. The process went smoothly from start to finish and was very cost effective. Highly recommended. That was the good stuff... The rest of this review will be why I'll never use Uboxes again and would recommend their competitor PODS. I used both services at the same time and the experience was night and day. The UBoxes/Uhaul website is trash. It's unintuitive and once you place your order it tells you to click a link to enter details about placement of your UBOX. The link doesn't work. It took several minutes to find a work around. When you call the help desk, be prepared to wait at least 40 mins. It will probably be longer. When someone does answer, they'll answer as if you called their home and not a business (this shouldn't happen even though I'm sure they were working from home). They won't know the answer to any question you ask. They will tell you to hold for a moment. I assume it's bc they have to ask someone else and wait for the answer. The wait will be 10 to 15 minutes of awkward silence. They never reassure you that they are still on the line, even when 15 minutes have passed. When you say "hello" just to make sure, they'll respond and then you'll wait another 15 mins for a lackluster answer that's doesn't sound certain. Over the last two weeks, I have spent several hours on the phone with Uhaul 98% of that was just waiting... Not actually talking to anyone. When my uboxes were delivered to the original address, the boxes were set where I couldn't open the doors, even though I was assured they would open. Luckily, I arrived just before the Uhaul employees left and tested the doors myself. They wouldn't open bc the doors were turned towards the grass. They couldn't have been positioned more wrong if you tried. That said, they had no problem repositioning them before leaving. My issue is that they said they tested the doors to make sure I could open them and were about to leave when obviously they couldn't have opened the doors. This would have been a major issue as the movers were just minutes away and wouldn't have been able to open the boxes. When the boxes were delivered to the new neighborhood, they made an absolute muddy mess. I would think this was unavoidable since they were driving a truck on a narrow one-way road except that PODS had a bigger truck with a 16ft POD and didn't make a mess all. Scheduling a delivery and pickup of Uboxes could not be done online like with PODS. I had to call and wait hours just to tell them when and where I needed my containers. While doing this, I even had one employee to yawn while I was talking. I received a call at about 7:30 am on April 3rd asking me if my boxes were empty and ready for pickup. No one showed up or even called to say they wouldn't be coming. After Easter, I called back, waited for hours again to talk to someone. They didn't appear to even know where their boxes were. Another time, I was given a cellphone number to call the person who picks up the boxes AFTER they were off of work for the day. I don't work for Uhaul/Uboxes!! It sounds like to me, that's a call Uhaul should have been making on my behalf. Finally, I was informed that everyone was out of town at training (laughable) and that no one could come to pick up the boxes until 9 days later!! On April 12th... Again, no one showed up. I called back on the 12th and was on hold for so long I just hung up. Later, when I checked my messages, I had one from Teresa (the only helpful person at Uhaul) saying that they couldn't get the boxes on the 12th but would get them on the 14th. FINALLY on the 14th someone showed up to pick up the boxes. And now I have black track marks all over the driveway from the tires on their "donkey." NEVER AGAIN! Unfortunately, One of the times I was on hold my realtor was there. He took note of the difference in the experience that I had between PODS and Uhaul and said he'd keep that in mind for future clients of his. I truly wish I could have given a stellar review but this was my experience with Uhaul/Uboxes.

Those trucks are loud so if you plan to drive a long way bring ear protection. But other than that everything was great!!! Did not include a dolly- bring your own or rent one.

When I made my reservation at U-Haul on 8 March I asked for a specific location that was about 2-3 miles from my address. The day prior to me picking up the U-haul truck I received an text that afternoon stating my location had been changed. That is extremely poor business on U-Haul. Then I called the locations I was to pick up the truck and asked why my location was changed. The rep stated it's not guaranteed. Wow. Me using U-Haul in the pass, I've never ran into a problem like this. All locations I've chose have had the trucks and I didn't have to go out my way. I had hired movers and it threw my entire scheduled off. I truly didn't appreciate that. On top of that, it threw my mileage off and I wasn't compensated for the additional mileage due to U-Haul not being prepared for their customers. If I had enough time to used another company I would have. I would not recommend u-haul to anyone. Poor service!

We had to use this location because the location that we booked was not open. U-Haul allowed us to book a rental knowing the location we selected was closed and would not be open on the next day (Sunday). So we showed up to pick up our truck and had no gate code to get into the facility, called U-Haul, had to wait on the phone for 15 minutes before FINALLY speaking to someone who explained the mess that U-Haul created. Have used U-Haul at least 15 times before and never an issue until now. Just pathetic.

This was the worst experience I've ever had with a U-HAUL facility and rental truck. The truck was old, damaged and in terrible condition. The check engine light came on. The employees were rude. I chose to use the mobile rental process as before. However the keys were not in truck and even the returning of truck was a problem! Rude staff plus they changed my rental and added extra pad rental which I did. Not request. I requested one package and was changed for 2. Not where rental pads inside truck. Ended up paying for pads I didn't use.

I think they tried to sneak some extra charge for gas on me. When I first got in the truck I'm pretty sure the gas gauge said 3/8 but I realize it was my fault for not looking at the contract right there...I checked it later and it said 5/8. I put gas in it before return and decided to put in more than 3/8 giving them the benefit of the doubt. I put in between 1/2 and 5/8, not a full 5/8, and it was 5.2 gallons. I only drove 35 miles meaning that if their contract was correct the truck would have gotten 6 miles per gallon or less and it was only a cargo van. That's impossible. So it had to be 3/8 when I started. Luckily the clerk didn't charge me a gas charge but if it would have been someone else maybe they would have got stuck with more fees. UHaul likes to slip in fees where people don't notice it which is easy to do when receipts are emailed and you don't check your email when you're out doing a job. As it was, I didn't need to put 5.2 gallons in so it did cost me some extra money at the pump. Next time I will check it first or take a picture of it with my phone to prove it.

The confirmed online reservation was cancelled on the day of pick up. Later the customer care person called and directed me to pick the truck 50 miles away from the place I stay. While I was on the way and near to the pick up place, the customer care person called and redirected again to 40 miles away place. I had worst experience with the your service for the confirmed u-haul pick up because of waiting my time and creating a panic environment.

Great convenient place. Organized, competent, professional staff and located in safe location. Grounds are spacious. The only complaint is the storage isles are extremely tight (narrow) making it difficult to maneuver large furniture such as sofas.

When a person call to reserve a truck at one location let them keep it and don't give it to anyone else. I reserved a truck at a location and they gave it away and I had to go several miles to get a truck and pay .99 cent per mile. That's not fair when the other location was was a couple of blocks from where I was moving from. I was charged a lot of money for miles

Pictures of truck weren't updated and you get an email with pics of all sides of truck for you to look at and agree with before you drive away when you pick up truck. We had to take all new pics of truck from many different angles to make sure all the small dents and scratches were accounted for before we left.

I wanted, but didn't get, a 17' truck. However... This Uhaul center on highway 80 in pearl/Brandon is super nice, clean and employs wonderful staff! I rented for 3 days because that's all the 1-800 number would let me rent for. So when it was up, I rented again for 3 more days. Perfect!

Candice was worried about were Danika and Amber were. She said they always disappear (from work). Danika was mean and so blunt. Amber was just plain ugly, and rude. She doesn’t have any customer service skills. Her mask wasn’t even on her face properly. She walks away from her customer when she’s suppose to be showing them their unit. (Like you know were it’s located already)!

Whoever's marking the mileage and the gas gauge is doing it wrong. They're writing down one thing when the gas gauge and odometer are showing otherwise and then they try to charge you for their mistake. Poor people skills and definitely will not be recommending them to ANYONE.

Really enjoyed storing my RV at this facility. It had everything I needed and wanted. To bad you changed your business plan and eliminated this type of storage. I could also used more notice before I had to move.

No problems until I moved out. I swept and left the door open. Then got an email several days later telling me that rent was past due and they are going to lock my unit and keep my belongings. That was funny since my unit was completely cleaned out and swept with door left open.

Poor customer service. Long waits not enough staffing when there is a line. Rude general manager stood over me as if I was going to steal something. Kicked me out of my space because a little aftersray from an spray can got on another trailer. I simply worked it out with the other customer and the issue was resolved. Instead she kicked me out to the curb

I cleaned up the floor with my own broom. Someone had raked a pile of trash in the isle and it stayed there until I cleaned it up. Great building, good place to put something you need dry and out of the weather. I would use again if needed.
