Jennifer MThere was no one at the counter when I arrived. A young man finally showed up to clock in and another customer began badgering him for the poor service. The guy seemed really frazzled and not ready to start the workday. I had already checked in through the app and just needed my keys, so I grabbed them myself. There was also no one around when I returned my rental at 4:30 PM, and I didn't have time to go looking for someone. Seems like this place needs better coverage and training.

JORDAN GQuick and easy. Your Receiving Lot Attendant (I didn't get his name) was 'Johnny-on-the-Spot' to get me checked-in, unhooked, and out of there. I don't think I was there more than five minutes. As for the facility in general, the Receiving Area itself was fairly cluttered and congested with equipment pointed in all different directions. The flow was unclear and close-quarters. It was good that your Lot Attendant was there to take charge and keep things moving. Kudos to Him.
RYAN BDespite numerous rental reservations for mid morning their was insufficient counter help to move lines efficiently or timely. We had over a 30 minute wait. Staff was extremely courteous and friendly just outnumbered by customers. As I said, with prior reservations, this should have been expected.
PETER SWas charged for more than I was quoted after I used less miles, counter person couldn't explain why. Truck ran poorly and got bad gas mileage for the load we took. I would have been better off just making more trips in my truck. Will never use this company again.

DAVID KThere was nowhere to park the truck or the “ride home” car. Line was pretty long, but both employees were efficient and courteous. The answer to “would I recommend this location” is actually “Maybe”. Lack of parking was a significant detractor, but the rest was positive.

CAMERON VThis was the worst Uhaul experience I've ever had. They rented us a truck with nails in the tires, low on transmission fluid, brake fluid, and zero wiper wash for a 2600 mile trip across the country. They were incapable of getting the contact information correct which made calling roadside assistance a nightmare. If not for Jonathan at this location, who was being treated terribly by the rest of the staff, we wouldn't have made it. He was forced to skip his lunch to help us and he is the only one who tried. Thank goodness he noticed the flat tires. He deserves a promotion and a transfer to a less hostile location. I wish all of your employees were as kind and helpful.

STEVEN PMileage allowance only allowed for a straight drive from one location to the return location. Unfortunately the mileage allowance did not take into consideration leaving the interstate to fill up with fuel or stopping for food.

ROBERT HTruck left side mirror was kept moved away from what was supposed position. Ramps need to be bigger so bigger furniture can roll up or push up and down. Better if it can install loading dock and much easier.

BRANDON EEveryone I worked with at this Uhaul location was awesome. I came in to buy a trailer wiring harness for my wife's car and the guy I worked with was so helpful I cancelled my trailer reservation at another location to this one. These guys are champs and this is the ONLY place I'll be using for my trailer and moving van needs in the future.
BRIAN TAsked for walk around inspection of the rental truck. The u-haul worker told me to do it through my phone. Not able to do that. He walked away from me and went back into the store. Have it known that if a customer wants the worker to do an inspection with them, they should accomodate. I had requested a dolly and that was not in the truck. If we had completed the inspection as requested that would have been noticed.
DELLA KEasy pick up and return. Online check in was convenient and efficient. Return process was easy and quick. Vehicle was clean and worked perfect for our move.

People that didn't understand the operating system in the computer, calls to the manager, scribbling my name and number on a ripped off corner of paper for the manager the next day to straighten out the order. Went in the next morning and there was still a lot of confusion. I ended up booking through them for a storage unit down the road. Not crazy about the rat trap when I opened the door but I guess that is what it is. Not impressed with the lock system on the storage doors. Pop one rivet or so in the lock falls off. Other than that everything was great. The staff was trying to help they just couldn't quite get it together.
dan c | First ImpressionsWhen I dropped my truck off on 4/4, I let the GM Cory know I was also done with my storage unit. He told me to go out back and take the lock off and he would close it out when he got back inside. Apparently he did not, because John called me on 4/12 to ask if I had rented a storage unit with them (he knew the answer). I answered a hesitant “yes” because I was confused. At this point, he rudely asked “why I said yes like that” as if he was accusing me of something. I informed him about everything with Cory on 4/4 when I dropped my truck off and he said “oh” and “I’ll close it out.” He also didn’t close it out. On 4/15, I get the notification I’ll have a bill coming up soon. I call the facility this time and explain everything again. The man who answered the phone said he would take my name and number, go look in the unit to make sure “it looked good,” and call me back. I was admittedly pretty upset and heated at this point. I informed him I was done with the unit on 4/4 and followed their GM’s instructions. If there was a problem with the unit, it had nothing to do with me and I was not waiting around or stepping out of work again for something that should have already been taken care of (twice). He essentially told me he was trying to help me but what else could he do. Fortunately another employee must have overheard because he ended up getting on the phone. The other employee told me some other customer had put their stuff in the unit I had vacated per the GM’s instructions and that it caused a lot of confusion. Things happen, and had this ended after John’s (rather rude) phone call on 4/12, I would have just dropped it there and let it go. But the whole experience was rather souring. The GM is very nice, but what a cluster this was. Also, John had an accusatory attitude when I was confused about why there was a second lock on my unit. Perhaps I did miss him telling me they put second locks on them overnight, but when I asked, the first words out of his mouth should not have been “I told you this yesterday.” Perhaps I missed it since you checked me into one unit, and then had to move me to another one for unforeseen problems right away. Again, each thing I would have let go, but in totality, it deserves to be heard.

The desk has a glass top so nothing was damaged, but there was water in the unit.

It is not satisfactory to not be able to prorate the rent. I am very dissatisfied that's when I pre-ordered the storage unit it didn't indicate that my unit was on a second floor with no elevator available.

I called on a Sunday and Monday and customer service sent an email to the Manager of this location to call me BUT that manager never did. I went to the location and a young gentleman helped me. The young man who helped me gave me one month free BUT I just paid a few days before this issue so technically I was never offered anything for the inconvenience and incompetence of that Eric guy. However, the manager still did not have the decency and respect to call me and follow up at least on the emails he received. And I know he received them because I was cc’d on those emails. Poor customer service skills and no follow through for a manager. Might as well give the title and the pay to that young gentleman who at least made an effort to resolve the situation.

paul s | Overall ExperienceUnfortunately I could only give you haul a 3-star rating with their storage facility because you weren't allowed in your storage unit whenever you wanted. it had to be opened by staff. Also we were going to move everything out at the beginning of the month only to find out we wouldn't receive a refund for the rest of the month that we did not use the unit. Once you pay on the first apparently it's final. And you can't be refunded any money.
