The app crashed on me literally more than 10 times when I returned the truck. Get rid of your garbage app and find a better way to return the truck after hours.

RANDALL BI found the process needed to rent and return a vehicle was flawless! The U-HAUL app was easy to use, and accurate in every way. In addition, the time to process in and out of the store I used took less than 15 minutes total.
BLAKE FI have gone to this location now 2 times. The manager Corey got me propane on a holiday saving my family function. Now I had an issue with the truck leaking on my stuff. Corey and another gentleman that checked the truck in were very pleasant to deal with even if I was not lol. I don’t usually do surveys but as far as the customer service goes, I would totally go there again. I would go to that specific location for the customer service. I hope you appreciate having good workers like that. People tend to be assholes when dealing with the public and grievances but I had quite the opposite experience at that store. So I don’t know, maybe give them props or a raise or something lol

MELISSA MThe tire straps were too short. Someone had let them drag and about 8 inches were missing. I could not get them over the tire and ratchet them down. The guy that processed my paperwork at check in was having a bad day, but the guy who hooked up the trailer was very nice. When I went to drop off trailer, I told them about the straps and they took it in to replace those.
BRANDON CI called U-Haul in the morning, made my booking and told I could pick up the car hauler at 11:30am with no other information at a U-Haul partner. At 12:30pm the trailer still wasn’t on the lot and was said to be scheduled to be delivered to this location from out of state. At that time I decided to drive to an actual U-Haul lot to see if a trailer was available. Blind luck, one was available. After an hour I was able drive off that lot to move the vehicle I rented to trailer to move. Why wasn’t I told to pick up the trailer on the lot that possessed the trailer I needed rather than told to pick up the trailer from a location it needed to receive my desired trailer from out of state? I’m not impressed.

Jim HOn large trailers you need to have tongue jacks. I witnessed an employee hurt his back hooking it up and I was barely able to unhook it. This is a major safety hazard. I can't believe a company as well known as uhaul doesn't care about their employees or customers safety. The employee was scared that he could get in trouble after hurting himself.

JACK LThe checkout and check in process is extremely slow. I waited over 45 minutes to return my utility trailer today. I also waited for 20 minutes after my scheduled rental time to talk to somebody at the counter because the line was long and slow moving. The staff is friendly and helpful but might be time to have one more hand on deck for busy saturdays especially.
KEATON SThis location has heavy congested veh traffic, especially during rush hour and thus creates a hazard. Also, it has only one entrance & exit which is a narrow driveway and in my opinion is not safe when trying to get in or out pulling a trailer or driving a large truck.
JOHN SCustomer service was unusually slow even with no other customers, and the location wasn't well maintained. The vehicle I rented had a glove box full of trash. The representative told me the gas was just under 1/4th tank and to return it over that line, but immediately the "warning range" light came on because it was actually completely empty and needed nearly 10gal of gas to even reach that 1/4th marker before I could drive it anywhere. I've always had very easy and reliable service, so this time I felt comfortable enough to not even precheck and it seriously bit me. I won't make that mistake again, and I'll go to the other locations instead.
JEREMEY DThe trailer was old and in poor repair. The gate locking mechanisms would not fully engage secondary to bed misalignment per the attendant. The tailgate also didn’t fully drop as the clips were modified and welded in place. Nonetheless, I was able to perform the necessary function and returned the trailer within approximately 4-5 hours. I was subsequently contacted the day after and was asked if I still needed the trailer since apparently the trailer was not checked in when I returned it. I apprised the rep that the trailer had been returned the previous day that was immediately verified. Cumulatively, you can appreciate why I’m only assigning a three (3) for feedback that is generous considering the aforementioned as described

CHARLES BEmployees did not show up until 5 minutes after opening. I was 3rd in a line of about 10 people waiting and it took almost 45 minutes to get my reservation paid for and hooked up and be out of there. Drop off was very slow and dis organized as well I was told to park in a way that when the trailer was unhooked I was almost blocked in by other returned equipment.
BRIAN RSaturday night was a very busy time for the boys at uhaul. But it didnt stop John, the assistant manager from providing a quality interaction. He was very accommodating and made sure that my needs were met before moving on to the next customer. He has a pretty chill personality. And made sure even though he was extremely busy, that I was comfortable with the transaction. He should be commended for his efforts. The only negative thing I felt, was from the lack of support from the rear of the building and the 2 older gentleman. They didnt seem to have much respect for John. They were short and pert with John. And I didnt see a lot of respect for John's position. And I heard one of these gentleman complaining to a customer about how they think things should be done. This is not the actions of a true team member. Although John didnt say anything negative about these 2 gentleman. They were obviously not supporting John, and seamed a bit resentful of him. I would certainly hope that this had nothing to do with the color of John's skin.

KELLY ORented a 1/2 ton pick-up for 19.95/ day. Drove less than 9 miles and had to add nearly $18.00 in gas to top off the tank that was supposed to be full at time of pick up. I drove the truck less than 9 miles. They only billed me for 3 miles which mean I still had to pay nearly $27.00 truck rental (no insurance) plus $18.00 in gas for a 9 mile trip. Not cool. The staff and the equipment were top rate,

SHAWN DYour parking availability for customers is very poor. There was a very lengthy line waiting for service. Only 1 employee helping customers. I felt bad for him as he was doing the best he could trying to answers phone calls and checking rentals out to the line of customers.

COREY OOn a Saturday when your services are most often requested it was an unpleasant surprise to find 1 staff member working the inside line and 1 worker assisting the truck distribution. The wait was too long. Your employees were awesome and working at top speed but there should have been more staff on duty.
RICHARD DRenting the equipment was a breeze. Check in was a little slower than expected possibly needing more help. Didn't know that there were employees outside that could check-in a return as several people did while I stood in line wait .

And the guy that was working the yard when I returned it was equally professional, friendly, and most outstanding attitude. This is my second time renting from you folks. I’ll never go anywhere else.
JOSEPH GEngine light was on at the time of truck pick-up. I was told that this should have been caught at the time the vehicle was last returned. I was advised to accept the truck anyway. There were no issues and the light eventually went off. Gas gauge was tricky and lead me to overfill the tank. I drove 33 miles and expected to replenish ~2 gallons. I added 2.5 gallons of gas and turned the truck on. The gas gauge swung to full, then to empty, and then settled even lower that before I added the gas. So I added 3 more gallons, which brought the level back to the 1/4 tank starting point. BUT, as I drove back to UHaul, the gas gauge needle slowly moved to the 1/2 tank mark. So, my cost for fuel was much more than it should have been.

People that didn't understand the operating system in the computer, calls to the manager, scribbling my name and number on a ripped off corner of paper for the manager the next day to straighten out the order. Went in the next morning and there was still a lot of confusion. I ended up booking through them for a storage unit down the road. Not crazy about the rat trap when I opened the door but I guess that is what it is. Not impressed with the lock system on the storage doors. Pop one rivet or so in the lock falls off. Other than that everything was great. The staff was trying to help they just couldn't quite get it together.
dan c | First ImpressionsWhen I dropped my truck off on 4/4, I let the GM Cory know I was also done with my storage unit. He told me to go out back and take the lock off and he would close it out when he got back inside. Apparently he did not, because John called me on 4/12 to ask if I had rented a storage unit with them (he knew the answer). I answered a hesitant “yes” because I was confused. At this point, he rudely asked “why I said yes like that” as if he was accusing me of something. I informed him about everything with Cory on 4/4 when I dropped my truck off and he said “oh” and “I’ll close it out.” He also didn’t close it out. On 4/15, I get the notification I’ll have a bill coming up soon. I call the facility this time and explain everything again. The man who answered the phone said he would take my name and number, go look in the unit to make sure “it looked good,” and call me back. I was admittedly pretty upset and heated at this point. I informed him I was done with the unit on 4/4 and followed their GM’s instructions. If there was a problem with the unit, it had nothing to do with me and I was not waiting around or stepping out of work again for something that should have already been taken care of (twice). He essentially told me he was trying to help me but what else could he do. Fortunately another employee must have overheard because he ended up getting on the phone. The other employee told me some other customer had put their stuff in the unit I had vacated per the GM’s instructions and that it caused a lot of confusion. Things happen, and had this ended after John’s (rather rude) phone call on 4/12, I would have just dropped it there and let it go. But the whole experience was rather souring. The GM is very nice, but what a cluster this was. Also, John had an accusatory attitude when I was confused about why there was a second lock on my unit. Perhaps I did miss him telling me they put second locks on them overnight, but when I asked, the first words out of his mouth should not have been “I told you this yesterday.” Perhaps I missed it since you checked me into one unit, and then had to move me to another one for unforeseen problems right away. Again, each thing I would have let go, but in totality, it deserves to be heard.

I called on a Sunday and Monday and customer service sent an email to the Manager of this location to call me BUT that manager never did. I went to the location and a young gentleman helped me. The young man who helped me gave me one month free BUT I just paid a few days before this issue so technically I was never offered anything for the inconvenience and incompetence of that Eric guy. However, the manager still did not have the decency and respect to call me and follow up at least on the emails he received. And I know he received them because I was cc’d on those emails. Poor customer service skills and no follow through for a manager. Might as well give the title and the pay to that young gentleman who at least made an effort to resolve the situation.

Also we were going to move everything out at the beginning of the month only to find out we wouldn't receive a refund for the rest of the month that we did not use the unit. Once you pay on the first apparently it's final. And you can't be refunded any money.
