Let me tell you about my experience with U-Haul. This was one of the worst experiences I have delt with. On June 3rd, 2025 I personally went into the U-Haul location at 704 4th St Ironton, MN and booked a 26ft U-Haul truck. We gave him our drivers license and credit card information. I received a email right after that confirming my rental would be available for pickup Friday June 20th at 8:00AM. On Friday June 13th, we receive a call from the gentleman who we rented from (also, I will tell you about my experience with this RUDE, POMPOUS, ARROGANT small man.) He tells me that truck isn’t going to be there and to call the 800 number. I said but I personally came into the office to make sure I did not run into any issues. He said there is an issue so call the 800 number. I said shouldn’t you be calling to get it figured out. I rented through you. He said if you want the truck, you call it not his problem. He hung up. I called when I got home, and your computers were down. Not to mention that just trying to get anyone to help me was a nightmare. I finally get someone to help me. They tell me I must go to 15237 Edgewood Dr Brainerd to get the truck. I reserve the truck AGAIN. I get another email from you saying that I can pick up my truck on June 20th at 8:00AM. Friday June 20th at 7:45, I arrive at the U-Haul at 15237 Edgewood Dr, Brainerd and let me just tell you this was an additional 25 miles in the other direction to go to Brainerd to get this truck! I proceeded to wait 8:00AM comes and goes and no one come to open. I then call the number for U-Haul and they tell me that the location in Brainerd doesn’t open till 9:00am! Even though I was told and have an email that I could pick up the truck at 8:00am. So at 8:52 AM the manager arrives, I proceed to get out of the car and he stops me and tells me that he doesn’t open till 9:00AM and he will help when he is open. Let me just say he was rude and a complete dickhead. Moving day isn’t stressful enough! The two gentlemen I delt with in person, well they must hate woman! They made sure that they talked down to me, belittle me and just pretty much were assholes. Overall, the experience of dealing with your company was horrible. My best advice to your company is to just put on the website, that no-one really knows what they are doing. No-one really cares if they help you, and as long as we get your money, we don’t care how we treat our customers!
Kristin ZBoth the GM and a gentleman on only his second day were outstanding, the young girl who handled the return of the trailer guided me in backing up and unhooked trailer we were maybe there 5 minutes each for pickup and return.
GREGORY YIt was refreshing to be treated professionally and personably by young people that knew their job.
PHILIP KMake sure the contract shows the right equipment so I don’t have uhaul calling me all week after returning it telling me I didn’t return it. Answer the telephone or return voice messages.

MICHAEL HI put mouse traps in the storage when I went to check on storage found mice in traps. I had 5 traps. Every trap had mice in them. I also found a few dead ones by the door. I ended up replacing a mattress, couch and recliner

NIKKOLE DThe roof lets snow blow in the unit on the back side. Ice builds up & we can’t open door in the winter We are on the north side. It should be remove So we can gain entry in the winter or at least when we ask to enter our unit. Is this something you provide for if we call ahead or just do it on a routine basis? We did not move in we have had this unit. Your app is not friendly with Apple Products. I can not use it.
