There is a bait based rat trap in my unit. I can't see how the bait is replaced when I lock the door.

The Manager, Robert at the U-haul Colmar is not co-operative. He doesn’t guide you in any way and asked me to call customer care for everything. Then why would you need a manager at each location if one has to call CC
I've had a storage locker there. For approximately 15 years all different sizes . And every year the rent went up. Even though I've been told they don't do that but they do by the sizes. So that's something that needs to be evaluated that valued customers. Don't go up every year. Has always been very friendly staff. But after Jasmine left. It's been a different GM every year.manager for a long time.I truly feel that y'all are making a very poor decision and I would really like y'all to re-evaluate it. And I myself would come back if you move back up the street. And use that as your primary office. I also feel that in my 15 years . There's always been 100% problems with the computers. And a small line of two people can go to a long line of 10 people because the computers keep locking them out. It truly is not lack of knowledge of work in the computers. It is lack of support from administration and owners of the corporation. I truly hope you take it to heart and not only at the Colmar but every single U-Haul you fix the computers. You invest in the company. Because everyone is building around you and U-Hauls can become part of the past. if you don't just put some money back into the issues. Either way thank you for reading my feedback and I truly hope you not only do it for the valued customers but you do it for your customers in the future. Sincerely Jim runkle
I think the manager is flustered with the current situation and u-haul corporation should step up to make sure everyone is taken care. The manager had forgotten the location of the storage in the map so luckily I am familiar with how u-haul has worked previously in other locations.

I cancelled my rental on 4/5 and I was paid through 4/27. I wasn’t able to move out till that day due to then due Covid19. I wasn’t given a credit for the days that I’ve already paid for and not using.
I went in to rent a unit unsure of the size I needed. I was shown the different size units by your sales rep. Unfortunately, I didn't get her name, professional and extremely helpful.
Using autopay and having 24/7 access was terrific.
We have been using this U-Haul facility for a few years. We have been very happy with the facilities and the staff. Very happy.
We had 2 climate controlled storage areas beginning in 2014. We were able to reduce that to one about 6-9 months ago. This past weekend we were able to close out our second area. Staff were amazing!
I never had a storage unit before and here I had 2 the staff was great and I LOVED that I could go at anytime cause when you put stuff in storage you always end up needing something its 24hrs.

Check in was fine. Was on the second floor none left. So took about 4 hours did not know the garage doors shut off at 7 the truck was stuck in there. Called the general manager twice.
I use this location for 7 years never a problem. Close, clean and convenient every thing you need in your extended house. Very happy
Reserv. to rent a ground floor locker at the main facility in Colmar arrived told they had no room. Had to take 2nd fl. at other location.
Everything about it was quick easy and convenient! The employees went out of their way to help us with everything. The facility was clean and well maintained.

Everything was fine. The only problem I had at times was being able to reach anyone. Another time I waited alone in the building 15 min. until someone showed up.
The first couple of weeks were ok. But for the last 2-3 weeks EVERY time I go by the gate is open. No access code needed. Part of what I am paying for us a secure unit. A gated unit.

liked everything about the facility. The only problem was getting a hold of some one on the phone.When my son finally got to talk to someone, he was very impressed with how clean it was. Very nice !
The location we were at had shut down without letting us know so there was no office there anymore.

The website indicated that the facility would be open on Saturday 7am-7pm, however it was actually closed on the move-in date. The staff at a nearby location helped me check in.

Have employees that know how to utilize the computer systems, employees who are competent in their work, employees who don't argue with the customer, and who can charge a card and bill appropriately.

Tried to use mobile to get keys. Gave up after a while and the woman inside booked my reservation and got me the van while I was still waiting for mobile to go through. Don't push the mobile option on people until it's ready to go. If I had tried to pick up when the store was closed I would have been insanely frustrated. Please let the woman know SHE is the reason I'm happy with my service today.

The computers were down both picking up and dropping off the truck causing a total of 80 minutes of lost time. It was not the employee's fault as they were trying. Not fair to them or your customers. Very frustrating!
The U Haul rep was great! She made the entire process so easy. This is the second excellent experience that I have had at this location.
Very accommodating to the fact we kept the truck for an extra day. Would definitely rent again with this location in Colmar.
The employees were outstanding. The van was clean as a whistle and a pleasure to drive. 5 star rating. The whole process from start to finish was easy.
We were originally going to pick up the trailer at Dublin hardware store in Dublin Pennsylvania. The owner was quite rude and inform me this is just a part time job for him and if I showed up slightly late he would turn me away. It would have been more convenient but I have used the Colmar store often and it has never disappointed.

After a botched delivery from POD the associate at U-Haul made this portion of my move really easy. I was happy that he was able to accommodate my request and he was pleasant.
The employee was unfortunately swamped when I went to pick up the truck. I had done the quick pick up on line and yet I was kept waiting for a half an hour due to the shortage of help.
Wasn't taken care of until 6:49 when I had a 6:00 pick up. Was given a 24 hour rental, then received a phone call at 4:00 the next day telling me to bring my truck back now because someone else needed it. No credit given, still charged full price but didn't receive a full service. Very disappointed, angry and will most likely not use UHaul again.
We used this facility for years. We never had a problem and it was always clean and well kept.
Everyone was very nice and we had no problems with the rental but it smelled really bad inside! We had to drive with the windows open the whole time. I was worried that the stuff we were moving would smell from being in the van.

Location and worker was great. We initially tried to do the pick up through the ap, which went smoothly up until the point of ‘live verification' of the headshot and license. The ‘asking for an alternative contact' portion was confusing. It could be better explained that it's just for the account - it makes it sound like they're going to call that person to confirm your identity. We finished checking in, inside the store and the person told us an alternative was in the account already and explained what that step was.
Great worker
When I rented the Uhaul it was on 9/16 of a tank. When I returned it it was on Full. There was no thank you or reimbursement for the extra gas. I've rented in the past and been reimbursed for extra gas. The whole experience was a true nightmare.
It was horrible.. they didn't have my tow dolly at my location in Horsham.. so I went to another location to get it.. then when I tried to return it to Horsham they said they couldn't take it back.. I told them I was leaving it their and it was uhuals problem.
I wouldn't recommend this facility to ANYONE that doesn't want their possessions to become infested by mice or rats. I had no idea the necessity of storage insurance. I threw almost everything away.

Original location 2111 Bethlehem Pike was a “0†score. I wasted 1 hr going thru 9 of 10 U-Haul.com steps to dispatch the vehicle only to find that the absent site manager had failed to place the van keys in the lock box. Very disappointing, I won't forget this frustrating failure by U-Haul.
The truck was fine, but I had ordered furniture dollies online. They do not have them. Apparently most locations do not have them. So, then why are they available on the website. It made the move much more difficult. Had we known, we would have made other arrangements. It will now be hard to trust this company.

Issue may not have been locations fault but corporate problem! The check in process was not clear. I was not able to pick up my vehicle at the reserved time because there was no code given to access the key safe. I had to delay my plans until the next day when I could get in and speak to an actual person. I tried to call customer service several times and sat on hold for almost. A half hour!!

First the rep opened the door and hit the truck parked next to the one I rented- dinging both of them. I didn't get a credit for the dolly I didn't use. The transmission was slipping which made driving at normal speeds difficult. Then you try to say I scratched your truck when there is no way possible that happened! I have rented from I haul for years but after this experience I just don't know if I will again
Reserved a truck in advance. Was rented out from under me.
Truck did not have the dollies in it, and Jane had to find them to put them in. Also, previous customer returned truck with only an 1/8 of a tank of gas, but Jane took care of it, and I got a credit for the missing fuel, which I did put into truck prior to returning it. Customer se5vice at this location is very good!
This was a terrible experience and I can't even document all the issues I had because this comment section is too small. I would not recommend this location or uhaul to anyone I know. Horrible!!!

I am filing a complaint. I reserved a Uhaul 2 mins from my house, only to find the truck was not there and corporate had switched my reservation to a location 8 miles away and a 20 min drive. I had to pay an additional 16 Miles to Uhaul due to their mess up. I am more than a little pissed off.
The problems I had with my rental were not due to the pickup or drop off locations. It was the from the scheduling, customer service and traffic departments. They would be rated as poor.

I rented at a location near me, then U-Haul made me go to a location 8 miles away and made me pay the extra mileage. I am convinced I they did on purpose for extra revenue. For this reason I will never use U-Haul again.

My experience was fine except for the unforgiveness of allowing a one-time mistake of our credit card expiring and charging us $20 for a late fee. I don't need 12 e-mail asking me to fill this out.
