Don't like the smell of cleaner that's used to clean them.. It gives my daughter' asthma attacks. So I clean it with vinegar before allowing her to ride with me. But other than that they are clean and we'll maintained.

Truck battery was already dying when I picked it up. I had trouble locking it up that night. It kept saying key was missing though it was in my hand. The next morning, the truck would not unlock, I assumed it was the key fob. My husband went to three stores, before finding the battery needed. During this time, I could not reach the location directly, I ended up with 'customer service', I was told there was a, 30 minute guarantee for road side service, took more than an hour. I came out to the truck at 9 and the fleet repair came about 11. I wanted another truck, because I had people waiting on me. Customer service said I would need to contact the location, who I could not reach directly. Fleet repair, jumped the battery. I went to the location, there was a long line and no pickup trucks on site. I had not driven the truck long enough to recharge the battery, so I left it running as we loaded it, costing extra gasoline. This was a lack of maintenance and poor customer service from UHaul.

Customer service is atrocious. Associates do not approach you, you must seek them out. I was made to walk in the back of their warehouse to fetch a replacement for my broken dolly (the axle was held in place by a nail).

Have the staff answer the phones. They handed me the keys and let me go to find the truck on my own. Which ended up being parked behind another truck. I called 3 times to tell them to come move the other truck, and no answer. The key lock on the outside of the driver's door had clearly been broken before. The faceplate fell off when I unlocked the door after loading up the truck, and the key cylinder then stuck out of the door. So I couldn't lock the driver's side door any longer. When I dropped it off they said that someone had tried breaking into their trucks and several of the locks were weird. Why on earth did they then let this truck be rented out?! The two guys operating the facility were nice. They just need to answer the dang phone!

We rented this truck to be picked up at the Duwamish location, even received email notifications confirming this. The morning of, we were told the truck was in Burien. So we had rearrange our morning.

There was little to no communication between UHaul and the Pickup/Storage Centers. My truck broke down in the middle of transit (while full). Although there are about 20 UHaul locations within the same city, it took 4 hours (9am to 1pm) to resolve the broken truck issue. During those 4 hours, I was promised help transferring my load from the broken truck to a new truck (2 separate Uhaul agents said I would receive this help). After I was finally towed to a UHaul location and given a truck, there was no help in transferring my load, and the location had no idea what I was talking about. I ended up, unnloading and loading myself, and had to take another day off of work because of the additional time sink. I am requesting a full refund.

The original location booked was not available and the closest location was over 20 miles away and in traffic took over an hour each way. It was also in the total opposite direction from where we needed to go.

When a reservation is made it should be honored. I had a reservation for a pickup truck at 10:00 but when I got there at 9:30 there were no trucks available. I was told I'd have to wait until 12:30 for a ten foot truck

Customer service was terrible. I was given the keys to a rental but it was blocked in by another rental and the employe helped other customers before moving the vehicle then didn't want to credit me additional time after they wasted almost half an hour if my time waiting on them. In addition the lot was filthy. Trash, broken glass, and metal including nails were all over the lot. Terrible service, terrible employees, terrible conditions. I will never rent from this location again.

My experience started off bad. The location called me the day before to say they didnt have a truck for me. I was moving my aunt so i asked what we could do. They explained that they had a truck but i would have to come and get it that day and keep it over night and i could have it until noon the next day. A little early but they worked with me. Carlos was great. They did a great job coming up with a solution to fix the problem. Well done.

Good: Convenient location; Allowed returning vehicle after hours is a plus and the process is simple and easy to follow. Lots of vehicle availabilities; Easy to reserve a vehicle online via the Uhaul's app. Bad: It's hard to find the key box; Key box doesn't look or appear the same as shown on video; There was no location mentioned where to find the box; Limited spots available if returning vehicle after hours; I charged over $300 even after explaining to someone on the phone the reason and that the reason was within the terms and agreement pr the companies policy. The proof I'll be submitted and I hope that refund will be processed soonest. Thank you,

I am not sure I can blame the dudes that are working Sunday mornings at this UHaul location. After booking the UHaul, almost every single detail/communication was quite honestly disappointing. Too much to write, but if any human reads this and cares, please call me (206-679-6378). I met Sebastien Reyes from UHaul (VP of Communications) and I think he would value my feedback.

I was ripped off by the Burien, WA Uhaul. I was charged $47.36 for a ding in the windshield. That ding did not occur during my rental. It occurred during a previous rental.

I tried truck share, but it was difficult to navigate. I told the location I had reserved a truck for 2 days, but they said they did not have a 26' truck available. They said a 20' was available. I made sure it was available for the 2 days I required and they said it was. So I canceled truck share and rented from the location. The next day I received 2 calls demanding to know where the truck was and that I was going to be charged extra. I was very clear that I needed 2 days. Unprofessional, truck dirty and smelly, poor organization for getting vehicles in and out. Fuel was at 1/4 tank when I picked it up. Left it with 1/2 a tank. No follow up call for basically giving you money through the gas tank. In totalI paid $450 for a day and half of use for the truck (including the gas I gave you) all while getting yelled at for your poor communication skills. Might as well hire a moving company next time. It would cost about the same minus dealing with your poor customer service.

My rental and box purchase was horrible with service rep clearly irritated with me and rolling his eyes and making comments about how he had to restart (due to him not getting out of his seat in advance when I told him I would rent a vehicle and purchase boxes and had box questions). Prior to my turn to check in he told the previous client how he was wrongly fired from another location and discussed his disgruntled issues with the manager, etc. My vehicle return was easy and met with a very positive experience and great customer service rep. If that had been the case upon check in, I would have rated the location much higher.

Employees need to pay more attention to what they are doing. Just because I and another person rented a truck on the same day with the same last name my card was charged for his transaction. Was told it would get fix before they leave for the day, I would receive a call never received a call.

The staff was outstanding & super helpful. I'm not a huge fan of the 'trailer van' storage units. I was under the impression that these units were part of a bigger building, so that was a little unsettling especially because of the crime in this area. The only other complaint I have it not being able to reach ANYONE at U-haul on the phone. Your online system works great and I'm thankful that it all worked out. But not be able to ask a person a question before hand was a little unnerving.

The shop was fine the service was questionable however.. We rented a 20 foot truck and showed up for it but were told they did not have that size truck for a one way trip. They had a 15 foot truck so we went with that one instead, but there was no offer to compensate us for the trouble or issue, which just was a little bummer. We made the smaller truck work but the larger one would have made things a little easier.. Also, I had rented a hand truck and neither associate brought the hand truck up to us so we could take it with us so we ended up forgetting it and having to go back.. Just a little annoying, the hand truck was behind things that seemed more store employee area so it was an obvious thing for us to take..

The building was an old gas station I think which was in some early stage of renovation so things were a bit helter-skelter and desk and moving accessories setup in the garage bays. Also, the van had a lot minor damage areas on it, but they were all well marked and did not impeded the workings of the van itself. So, while all of this didn't look that great on the surface, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the van ran well and things were available as planned so I would definitely use this location again and recommend them to others as well.

Your staff is typically amazing so you must be doing something right! However, they seem to operate with little supervision and little training and few processes. They had no idea how to handle an upset customer (me) when I came in after my unit had been broken into. They need more support there. All they did was look uncomfortable and shrug their shoulders.Whoever the woman was that proactively reached out to me and finalized my move out was especially helpful the past few times I was there. I wish I knew her name. As far as the facilities, they are are dirty and stinky and messy. I wished we had moved out sooner.
