Even after acknowledging I had previously rented trailers from U-Haul, the staff refused to understand that I was familiar with the concept of towing, and that I did have the correct tow ball size and other equipment in which to tow. The whole process was a bit condescending and insulting.

The truck smelled so badly like Febreeze my husband and son had to ride with the windows down the whole time. They said it smelled like someone threw up in the truck and they were trying to cover it up. I would have had to cancel my reservation, due to the SMELL, if my guys couldn't drive it for me. I am highly allergic to the chemical shitstorm that was in the truck and even had to wash their clothes and had them shower as soon as they got home. THAT WAS WITH THE WINDOWS DOWN THE WHOLE TIME! The odor should not attach to everything around it. The store was also SUPER clean and stunk like cleaner. Smelly cleaners are not more affective than less smelly cleaners.

Had a reservation but had to wait a longer than normal time to be acknowledged and helped. This is not usual for this location but was disappointed today. Also the system showed 1 mile less than on the actual vehicle meaning I paid an extra 1.09$ for it. System should match the vehicle.

I rented a larger open trailer with a ramp because I needed to move a lot of household stuff. My wife and I are both over 77 and we over estimated how much we could do in a day. So we were a little late returning it expecting to pay for an extra day, but they waived the waived the extra charge in an act of grace. Thanks from a customer for life!

The headlights on the truck I rented produced poor lighting. Overall the truck was clean but the maintenance needed. The breaks need adjustment, the run-boards (side panels below the box) needed repairs.

The Uhaul truck I rented was not accessible. The lock would not open for the self pick up option. I had to drive to another location after wasting an hour of time. Looking at my bank statements, it looks like after all of this Uhaul charged me 3 times..... terrible, I see one pending refund on my credit card, two charges on my credit card, and an additional third charge on my debit card. I was very confused through the entire process. Please make this right and reach out to me. I want to make sure I was only charged what I owed....

I was supposed to receive a discount due to inventory issues at the Sandy/Portland Location. Brad informed me my rental would be $173.00. When I paid, my rental fee did not include the agreed upon discount price. I paid $243.00. Extremely unhappy that I did not receive agreed upon rental fee. Need to be able to get refund for difference in agreed upon rental fee.

U-Haul as a company needs to improve their system. Trailer was ordered at the Sherwood, OR dealer on Monday for a Friday pick up. They were going to have a one-way trailer located and notify me. I was never notified. I called the day before it was to be picked up. I was told the trailer would be at the Columbia Blvd. dealer. Minutes before pick up, I received a call from U-Haul to let me know the trailer was at the Happy Valley dealer. My son-in-law was picking up the trailer on his way to our house, coming from the Seattle, WA area. I did not appreciate all of the run around and wasted time, and fuel to pick up a small 5' X 8' covered trailer. U-Haul also had the wrong trailer reserved and the pick up time was wrong. Not happy with U-Haul. This does not reflect on the independent dealers, the problem is U-Haul corporate. My one mistake was not jotting down the young lady I spoke to from their call center. Very, very disappointed with U-Haul.

It is ridiculous that you charged me an additional $6.38 for gas when my total mileage was 8 miles! Your gas register is not sensitive enough for small miles and you shouldn't penalize customers for small hauls. That was in addition to the $5.52 you charged separately for miles. Gives U-Haul a poor reputation. I also was very disappointed to have wasted a 1/2 hour setting up a contactless experience the night before only to have to repeat the entire process in person once I arrived. When I couldn't find the vehicle on your property easily and had to go inside, your rep said it would be easier just to re-do it. Makes no sense.

I reserved a moving truck and tow dolly over a month in advanced and everything went great for picking up the truck early that morning and was going to pick up the tow dolly a few hours later once we were packed, 30 minutes before we were about to get the tow dolly they called and said they no longer had one available for us, I was extremely irritated because we were moving out of state and the only tow dolly they had available was an hour away in the opposite direction. I voiced how irritating it was because I had reserved so far in advance so that this wouldn't happen. Over an hour later (after we were wanting to already be on the road) the lady called back and said they have one available at the happy valley location for us. My husband went over there to pick it up and when he got there no one had a clue what he was talking about and said they have no tow dollys available. He then told them he was told to come there to get one and the front desk lady called the back and found out they actually have 4 available. To say we were disappointed in the lack of communication between both locations we dealt with was an understatement and because of this we will no longer use uhaul.

I explained to the attendant that I had to drive the truck from Washouga Washington over to that location, and I waited to fill the truck up with gas just before I got there, and the gas station did not have any working pumps. I had only use the truck for 35 miles. So the truck was on just over 3/4 of a tank and I explain to her about the gas station and asked if she could give me a break and not charge me so much for the gas and she was very unsympathetic and would not budge. I had an 80 year old friend follow me all the way over there from Washouga which is about 35 miles in the pouring rain in traffic just to get the truck to that location which I promised you haul that I would do. I don't feel like I should've been charged almost $40 for 4 gallons of gas. That is just not good customer service.

The delivery driver for the Uboxes was very professional and a very careful fork driver, she did a great job on both delivery and pickup. One of the boxes was newly made BUT THE OTHER HAD SOME ROUGH SPLINTERY EDGES THAT DID GET CAUGHT ON our clothing as we entered and exited the unit.. All in all very convenient.

The truck was smoking quite a bit, I wonder if it needs a tune up? I was 100% pleased until I got the final bill. The total amount was very reasonable but the two $1 service charges just pissed me off! Just price the service appropriately and you won't leave customers with a bad taste in their mouth!

Price was not the same as I was verbally told when uhaul contacted me originally due to not having the truck size requested. I was charged near $500 total between two locations when it was stated $322 for two 10' trucks and one tow dolly. Communications between corporate and stores would be greatly appreciated as this was a big inconvenience having to pay more than discussed and having less height and length.

Since I have moved here I have had to rent a van to get furniture to my new place. I used a van 11/1 for 2 hours max and today my credit card is being charged $150 bucks fir an accident that apparently happened today at noon. So up until this event I would have recommended this location. If for some reason you think I did something to this van then contact me or show me the day I rent or not 24 hours later. The email specifically states the accident was 11/2 at 12:15 pm I was home all day and rented this van 11/1 Watch out people!!! These guys are trying to rib ya!!!

Generally speaking 2 out of 3 people seem to be aware of the list surroundings but when I follow the steps of social distance and another customer walks up and gets help after I've been waiting 10min on a blue spot and watch the other customer get help when I've been patiently waiting I find it irritating. And rude because the other customer saw me noticed and didnt say anything.

This is the pinnacle of U-Haul sites. This is the best experience I have ever had renting a truck and using storage. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful. Sandra and all of the others who work are the BEST.
