Came to return my trailer in the early afternoon. Pulled into the bay and there was a 26foot truck blocking the exit to the return bay. Waited outside for 5-10 minutes and had to go inside to ask for assistance. Was told there are people in the yard but they were just too busy and to bear with them. Ended up moving the truck out of the way myself and disconnecting the trailer by myself and still hadn't seen any uhaul employee other than the one at the desk. The one that hooked me up didn't know what they were doing and I needed up having to re hook up the trailer as it was not securedDevin D.

The only negative was learning when I picked up the trailer was that, although I'd assumed that had it for 24 hours, since I was paying that rate, I had to have it back in 10 hours. It really made it hard to rush thru what we needed it for. Nothing about a10-hour limit was mentioned when I reserved it. All the people who hooked up and unhooked the trailer were awesome!!Debbie B.

The trailers wiring had been poorly repaired which failed on my way home. I professionally repaired it and do not feel the $50.00 refund was adequate.Virgil S.

The lady inside was incredibly nice as always. It took over 30 minutes to get a trailer connected to my pick up. Nobody in the yard knew anything about the trailer they were connecting he could not figure out why the reflectors were not lighting up. They had no idea that they were reflectors and not lights. They told me there was something wrong with my pickup and the trailer was fine. The lady connecting the trailer was telling me things like â€œturn on your left brakeâ€. She also said my lights wouldn't work unless I was in drive. All of these things are wrong. I got out and immediately spotted the wiring connection in the trailer had copper wires showing. The whole process took way too long and the poor yard workers have some terrible communication skills. The new trailer was great and served me well.David W.
The first 20' truck I rented has 66,000 plus miles on it. It got 10.9 MPG loaded to Roseburg, Oregon This 20' Truck got 8.7 MPG because it is worn out and had 157,000 plus on it. The front end is somewhat loose when turning. This amounts to 15 plus gallons of extra gas at $4.59 per gallon. This truck needs to be retired. Tim JohnstonTIMOTHY J.

The staff was friendly. I reserved a 20' uhaul trailer / van in post falls a week before I needed to use it . The only option was picking one up in Coeur D Alene. My ex wife rented one in post falls , same size with 3 days notice. Inconsistently , it would have saved me time and money if I'd had gotten a uhaul closer to my starting point.Rick R.

Punish the person's responsible for the creation of the U-Haul app, and the current rental procedure. I come to U-Haul to rent equipment, not do all of your counter, back-office, and yard tasks for you. Your rental process used to be fairly quick and easy. Now it is technology dependent that is slow, balky, and onerous. Everytime I subject myself to renting from U-Haul, I am reminded of why I hate renting from U-Haul.Frank B.
Our only issue is when we picked up we were told to fill the gas and to 5/8s full tank. Re returned at 5/8 full tank and was charged $30.00 because it was supposed to be filled 11/16s.. #1, the verbal instructions were incorrect and #2 the small print indicating 11/16s was not shown to us at pickup. We were charged triple the cost if we would have been given the correct information to start with. We would recommend because of the limited resources in the area, but caution our friends to double check the fine print and not rely on any verbal information given.Bob H.

Excellent, clean facility. I was unhappy that early in my rental, the hours online did not match the hours the unit was accessible. Other than that, I was very pleased with the unit and facility. The price, availability, and timing were perfect to complete our move up the north Idaho. The security system was a pain as most security systems are; but this one had too many panels that were not for customer use, and on on first experience, was difficult to find out which code box to use. I have been waiting to be able to share my wonderful experience with U-Haul managed by Renee. From the moment we rented our first unit and then the second unit and then the box purchases and then the truck rental, it has been seamless and beyond pleasant. Moving is hard. I actually looked forward to going to our storage units, the facility could not have been cleaner every time we visited, it smelled great the restrooms were always clean, things were where they should be as far as carts and sanitizers went, I actually looked forward to going. The day we emptied our first unit felt wonderful but I seriously was saddened the day we emptied the last unit. I can’t believe what a tight ship she runs and how great her employees are, she has a wicked sense of humor and she’s no nonsense which I adored, everything in the facility always smelled so great and one night I left some of the items I had gathered in my car overnight and when I open the car I could smell the refreshing scent of deodorizer from U-Haul. The unit was advertised as 5 x 5 x 10. I dare say it is not actually 5 feet inside of the walls. I guess if you count to the outer most portion of that wall it is 5 feet but that wall space can't be used to account for a piece of furniture that is close to or exactly 5 feet!
