Yesterday I moved out of a ubox into a storage unit, however my account has not been updated and I was told it would occur last night. I spoke with a team member today and she said they would ensure it is done today and I would not be charged for today. I’ll need to continue monitoring this until it’s done. Also Yesterday I booked a 5x5x7 unit but upon entry I realized it was too small and asked to go up a size, I was charged a change fee of appx $15. It seems poor policy to charge for a same day change which resulted in a more expensive unit.

When I entered office the representative immediately asked what I needed. She got my reservation filled quickly and was really nice. The rep in the yard hooked up my trailer perfectly. These guys are awesome. Best experience I have had renting. I used to rent at the Burien Uhaul, the Tukwila office puts theme to shame. Overall well run business.

I dropped the equipment in the same location the same day in the after hours. I didn't properly fill the drop off application on my phone and I was charged for 2 days. This doesn't make sense. After my phone call, they corrected the charge to one day.

KJ made our experience extremely enjoyable. Uhaul Interbay reserved a storage unit that didn’t fit anything from our truck and didn’t want to cancel. So it was a nightmare, but going to Duwamish and with the help of KJ, she made our move extremely pleasant. Glad our things are stored there! Thank you to all the staff for their help. Facility is super clean as well.

I did not fully understand the check in and check out procedures. In particular, I did not understand that I needed to check in at the loading/unloading area in order to prevent alarm being set off when I opened my unit or that I should check out when leaving.

The customer service at this location is AWESOME. I have never had a bad experience with any vehicle rental. The storage units are clean, well lit, and easy to access.

I was told - twice - this location would be open till 7PM - it wasn't. Either hours where listed wrong - or something changed. The Uhaul website is craptastic - I have a well known very well respect security application running that apparently blocks your website - with no warnings or any indicators as to what wasn't working - made this first time experience rather horrifying in terms of turning in the truck. I ended up using my partners phone to do this. But we got the job done.

Customer service is inaccessible for anyone who doesn’t have at least an hour to be on hold, the facility only has office hours for access hours and I need my belongings when i get off work, which i could not do here, they charged my card without my permission which i was told they could not do but made sure to wait until there was a late charge and several unanswered phone calls before doing so, they never answer the phone. I will never use U-Haul again for moving or storage.

Dropped off truck. Called the next day to say we left a electronic tablet in the truck. They said they would look and get back to us. 3 hours later I called again and they said they just checked and did not find it. I checked our cloud and found the device was gone (wiped clean). I then talked to a supervisor and she said they rented out the truck already but how could they if they just checked it? The supervisor told us to call the police. The people at this location are always friendly and helpful! No complaints with the service AT ALL. The only thing I would change is to make U-box retrieval a little more convenient. Sometimes it's hard to get that scheduled, but I don't think it's specific to this location.

The young lady who was in charge was extremely helpful and sweet. This was my first time using a U-Box. Overall, it was a great experience. I want to give a huge shout out to Janelle at the Toledo, Ohio branch. She was so helpful and friendly. She communicated with me every step of the way. I was never nervous or worried about my things being delivered on time from way across the other side of the country. Give her a bonus please!

Alex was awesome. Showed me several units and took his time with me until I found a unit I was satisfied with. Very impressed with how clean all floors were and how neat and organized the main office was. Feel very comfortable storing my items there. The only negative thing that I saw was that they should close up the tops of the units so it doesn’t give anyone the idea of crawling over and stealing other peoples items.

Ms April was very helpful and so professional! She is the example of a dedicated worker who really enjoys the job. However; there is one worker not sure of her name but she has a broken ankle; sometimes she comes across as very abrasive with customers and it’s not a good feeling.

Though this is a new facility with an obviously new staff the store runs quite well and the employees always have assigned tasks to work on (as opposed to phone videos some employees do in other locations). Jenny runs a tight ship and not only her self but her employees have been right on top of any concerns we had while renting there. I've already had more than one person move into a unit in Dawamish.

I choose the storage because they ware available for drive-up storage, but when I sign up, they didn't have a drive-up storage. It made my moving very difficult. I will never use your service.

I wanted to be able to rent one unit for all my things, the comparison of truck load vs rental unit is not comparable. I ended to rent two units which could have been avoided if the advice with the customer service person could have been clear. She kept comparing other situations and not answering my question. I've honestly never seen such a spectacular storage facility! It's very secure, very clean, super nice staff. I was blown away. Other storage companies should be scared. Because this U-Haul has not only brought it's a game, it showed up prepared for a showdown!! Kudos to U-Haul Duwamish/Tukwila.

They run on a skeleton crew and complain about it. One lady had her phone keep going off durning our check in process and kept answering it and took care of her phone before customers. Also if we use the dumpster for example throwing away a garbage bag (just 1) it’s $100 no matter what even though we pay for storage each month.

The online move-in process would be convenient if it didn't require the extremely long waits on your first visit. The unit, building, location, security system, and the staff are great. The amount of time to access my unit was awful. I filled everything out online so that it would be a quick move in. I waited in line for about an hour before I could use my unit. It took me longer to get my access than it did to unload my stuff, move it to my storage unit, tetris it in my storage unit, got back to the front desk because the lock wasn't in the unit as stated, get the lock, walk back to my unit, finish unloading, and lock the unit. All of that took less time than the wait to just get access to my unit. The three different staff members I interacted with were great. If they didn't have the needed knowledge, they quickly tapped someone that did, answered my questions, and resolved my issues. The fact that they were understaffed and had to continue to deal with people that were hot and tired after waiting in line for over an hour, makes me not want to support the company any longer. A friend rented a truck from the same location earlier this week. It took him three hours to get a truck, it wasn't the size he reserved, and he had to go to another location to get it. Again, the staff were great. Management (at the level that is accountable for staffing) needs to be trained or replaced as every person I spoke with at the location had a negative experience due to the lack of available customer service.

The access hours being restricted to office hours is going to become an issue when I start working and may need to change facilities. This should be communicated online, not something I'm not aware of until I show up after 7PM to access my belongings. The employees were nice enough to explain the reasoning behind the decision, it's just extremely inconvenient as I just moved here and am now restricted to business hours for unloading a truck with a time limit imposed by U-Haul. The staff is very accommodating and helpful and I appreciate them, their patience and assistance.

I set my account up online. But then they wanted to charge me and it was supposed to be free for the first month. So I called and the guy told me to just go to the office. So I did. And at the end of the meeting she said I didn't set it up o line, yet she didn't have to ask me any info because it was already set up online. She refused to give me my free lock because she said I didn't set it up online. I did. And also she said that the hours I could access my unit was only until 700pm, but the guy online said 10pm, and there were still people there after 700 so I don't get it. And I work till 5pm that's hardly time to get home and get to my storage. I have a 10ft uhaul truck in NY drive way and I need to empty it but there isn't enough time. So now what?

Mostly everyone was kind and friendly and helpful. I didn't have confidence in the skills of Jessie, mostly because he didn't seem to know too much himself and needed lots of assistance. While I don't mind training someone, it took longer than normal to check in. I had an immense amount of patience but that patience wasn't returned when I was using the stalls to unload my truck and they needed to go home. It seemed my time was not as valuable as their time. There should be a way to lock the facility to allow the customer to completely use the stall and have it lock behind them. Interestingly, the same 2 individuals that took a tremendous amount of time at check in were the ones demanding that we move out of the stalls. Additionally, dogs should not be brought to work. It's unprofessional. The truck check out was much smoother, likely because it was handled by the manager, and there's another younger lady working there that seemed pretty efficient.
